For the most part, I do not use bootlegs, at least as far as regulars in my fed. Like Ty mentioned, we have been blessed with so many official LOW signings that even my own fed starts to get a little overpopulated. There are still a good number of official guys I haven't brought in yet because the timing hasn't been right or I haven't had a good feud or storyline for them. (Probably the biggest names I haven't used yet are Randy Savage and Roddy Piper. Al Snow was one of my favorite wrestlers of the late '90s but I haven't brought him in yet either.) Between 2006 and '08, I would bring in bootlegs as "special attraction matches" on some cards, usually as a feud from another territory and sometimes even for another territory's title. But we got so many more new signings after that point that I haven't had space on my cards for those types of matches. I would love to run a second fed and even had an idea of doing one about two years ago. But real life kept it from happening.

There are also quite a few Sets by Cernunnos in the Library 2.0 to be found. Is he still around? I do not recall to see posts from him He's on the Filsinger Games Discord server and I play a different wrestling game with him every week. There is Discord server???

My main fed is played by more then just me, and people drafted their wrestlers from all official sets, and a few boot sets that are just amazing.

The problem I'm having is that there are a few wrestlers I would love to have in my fed, but they don't have official cards. Like... Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk and the Von Erichs. It's hard not to use them since they have homebrew cards. But, at the same time I'm hesitant to use them because I'm afraid that the integrity of my fed could be compromised somehow.

[br Maybe run your main fed using official cards and a side fed using bootleg cards you like. Always remember it’s up to you, Promoter! Which means there is no wrong way to run your fed as long as you are having fun.

Originally I didn’t like the idea of bootlegs but I’m kind of running my fed as an alternate timeline and building what I would have loved to see. I wanted some of my favs that don’t have official cards yet because I wanted them to be in this fed.
also someone’s NWA set is phenomenal and you need to run not walk to you’re email to try and get it.

For a legends fed, I don't see why you wouldn't use a bootleg of a guy you wanted to use. While the official cards are great, there are plenty of guys out there that will never have an official card, but have a great bootleg out there made by people that make the official cards.
Then there's other specialty sets that could never sell enough to be official, but are just awesome. like Travis' Memphis stuff, Jarrod's PMW, Knapik's 80s WWF ones, there's the 1977 WWF one (can't recall if the Olsons or Tim Dalton made that one)
Then sometimes you want to use a guy at a certain point in his career, but the FG card reflects a different point, so then oyu have great alternate stats, but still cool art.
I do like it best when the bootlegs have actual art (to go with the card), but I've also used ones that are just stats.
I can see not using bootlegs in your GWF fed... it makes it a bit difficult to follow the official plot if you do, but for a legends fed, where you're just doing you're own thing anyway? Go for it!
That said, I totally get that there's way too many guys out there to actually use for most people that have lives outside playing the game. so if your way to help you narrow down the choices is to just use official cards, I can see that.

WWWF 77 is Tim Dalton's work though I believe the Olsons assisted.
