I thought the Wild Card interference was weird?! I'm like "WTF?" through the whole thing?! Just really dumb, just throw all three into a three way match for the straps!

I thought the Wild Card interference was weird?! I'm like "WTF?" through the whole thing?! Just really dumb, just throw all three into a three way match for the straps! yeah, it really did not make much sense to me at all with Wild Card helping one Dawson get the pinfall while simultaneously attacking the other Dawson with one of the tag belts, why would the tag team champions set up a scenario where they are apparently going to have two different tag teams- who were feuding against each other- now going after them? This was not specifically a #1 Contender's match, so why would Wild Card care who wins? To me the pacing of the show seemed really rushed this week, the last two matches- one of which was the 6 man tag main event with future title implications- both took place with less than 15 minutes to go in the show. I am used to watching studio wrestling (seen over 400 episodes of CWFH) but this felt rushed even by those standards. It was cool to see Thunder Rosa appear.

I really love Thunder Rosa already. Looking forward to her in action.

I agree that this show felt rushed. Maybe bookend the No DQ tag and the six man and do shorter matches in between? I agree I hate the idea of interference in a No DQ match. It's a main problem I had with ECW back in the day. If all matches are supposed to lead to a definite conclusion what's to stop anyone from jumping in with no consequences?
So Jocephus was suspended and now he's not? Too quick just to set up a win for Murdoch. Jocephus has been played as a jobber in the ring not just losing matches but getting in little offense. I'm figuring that this is going somewhere so I'll wait. I didn't get the Cabana angle in the first place. Did he crash the segment when he expected James Storm instead? Why did he have a bottle and a hat for Colt? Confusing.
Lastly we took a break from the Kamille angle I guess. It seemed poised to be a "she isn't allowed to talk" to a "she just doesn't want to". Weird and unsatisfying.

I agree with the Wild Card thing being odd, but also think this might be the best wrestling show right now. I watch them all and this is the one I cant wait to see these days.

I actually really enjoyed this week's episode. It did feel a little rushed but I kinda liked the frantic pace of it and thought that the matches still delivered despite being on the shorter side. I agree, the Wild Cards interference didn't make a whole lot of sense but with the commentary mirroring this thought process, I would guess we will find some sort of reasoning behind it. Lastly, with such a limited roster so far, I don't mind that most are now involved in a storyline at some level. Some of those storylines have now been going for 4 weeks, some are just barely getting started.

Honestly, after four episodes I'm not really feeling this. There's talent that I like (Murdoch, Kingston, Storm, Starks, Kay) but the rest of the talent they use sucks. Nick Aldis hasn't gotten any better since TNA first tried to make him a thing in 2012 and I think if this exact show happened in a setting that didn't remind people of the old WCW show, there'd be a lot more negativity towards it. I love how the show looks and it's a nice comforting vibe at first but for me it's the only real draw for me.

I like the look and feel and they do a lot with the hour they're given but most of the roster doesn't do it for me. Also, everyone is cutting the same promo. They need someone with a big personality to build things around. I think Aldis is doing better but he's a B+ player at best.

This week's episode was a little more cohesive than the blur that happened last week.
Nick Aldis' commercial for RetroMania was a little undignified for how he has been presenting himself as NWA champ. This was more Colt Cabana's speed. Looks like it might be a cool game though.
Thunder Rosa embracing her heel side was great.
I like what they are doing with Ricky Starks. Guy has gotten good with his character.
This main event was spoiled for me a couple of weeks back. I knew Cabana was getting the National title back. Storm dropping the belt obviously signals his moving up to the world title picture. One more title change is coming soon...
They are doing a lot of stuff with people playing mind games, maneuvering, etc. Eli Drake, Wild Cards, Thunder Rosa, and now Kamille (Aldis?). They have to be careful about trying to be too clever with everything. Too many dangling story threads can lose people.
There is something that the NWA is doing right and better than everyone else. They get what a heel is supposed to be. A heel is supposed to exhibit traits that are not admirable. Mean, cowardly, pompous, traitorous. Fans shouldn't be expected to hate someone just because they are at odds with their favorite wrestler. Too much booking these days equates bad ass with heel. The Attitude Era nullified that thinking by making bad ass cool. All of the heels on this show were heels with James Storm being the only real tweener and Aldis is up in the air. This is one of the reasons this show is working for me.
