Seeing the three guys there in the video display and Eddie being mentioned it is safe to say Billy's time with Impact was not a total waste.

I'm honestly more excited to see what NWA does with this than I am for AEW right now. I hope both can succeed and all that but, in my opinion, the NWA is doing a WAY better job with these types of videos. They're building characters, they're building excitement and they're making it believable. These videos get me hyped! AEW's videos usually just get a few laughs out of me.
Man, how cool would it be to get an NWA set from FG!?! Nick Aldis, James Storm, Tim Storm, Thomas Latimer (Bram), Royce Isaacs plus updates for Eli Drake, Eddie Kingston, Allysin Kay and Ricky Starks. Throw in a few others and that's a phenomenal set!

They've got Eddie Kingston, so they've got my attention. Now we're getting somewhere! If they had any sense we'd get a Kingston vs. James Storm feud for the NWA Title because they're like the only two guys on the roster who feel like they'd fit in with dudes like Harley and Dusty. but we're gonna get Magnus vs. Eli Drake lmaooooooo

Eddie fits the mold of a traveling champion since he can make a guy look good and still win the match. If they want to keep the NWA spirit alive, they don't want a champ that's going to steamroll everyone.

Very cool to see Kingston part of it. Really fun guy and I agree he'd make a great champ.

If they want to keep the NWA spirit alive, they don't want a champ that's going to steamroll everyone. Ideally you also wouldn't want your champ to be a guy who reminds fans of the dying days of TNA on Spike, or their other choice which would be a guy who reminds fans of the Impact on POP era. Really in terms of viable world champions on that roster it's either Kingston or Storm.

I read Thunder Rosa will be on the first 2 days of TV tapings:
The National Wrestling Alliance has announced via social media that 28-year old star Thunder Rosa, who also wrestles under the moniker Kobra Moon and Serpentine, will be appearing at the promotion’s tapings from the GPB Studios in Atlanta Georgia on September 30th/October 1st. Rosa also recently signed with the MMA promotion Combate Americas, where she’ll be making her fight debut in November.

Or are they only able to use Impact stars of certain eras? Kinda silly, eh? Nick Aldis isn't the greatest wrestler ever but he's pulling off the classic well dressed gentleman champ pretty well. I'm sure James Storm will get a run with the title if he sticks around for a bit. Same with Kingston. In the posted video he mentioned he's bringing some people with him so I'm sure they have some plans for him beyond just a couple matches.

I wish I was closer to ATL or still lived there as I'm off those days and I'd go.

So if someone wrestled for Impact they shouldn't be considered for a title run? Kingston and Storm literally worked for Impact, so you already know that's not what I'm saying at all. It'd be one thing if Magnus was popular, or if Eli Drake was popular...but they're not. They're two of the most maligned top guys that Impact ever had and they were top guys during an era where the company's popularity was bottoming out. Would you want someone that people associate with the dying days of another company that wasn't well received by the majority of wrestling fans as your world champion? Storm was champion when they still hit 1 million viewers on the regular, Kingston is one of the most highly regarded US workers of the last 20 years. Both are better picks than guys who look and work like mid 2000s OVW castoffs. Or are they only able to use Impact stars of certain eras? Kinda silly, eh? Yeah dog I want them only to use dudes who worked the Asylum in 2003. Bring back Wolfie D Nick Aldis isn't the greatest wrestler ever but he's pulling off the classic well dressed gentleman champ pretty well. Yeah everywhere except in the ring, which is uh...kinda what matters most for the NWA Champion. I'm sure James Storm will get a run with the title if he sticks around for a bit. Same with Kingston. In the posted video he mentioned he's bringing some people with him so I'm sure they have some plans for him beyond just a couple matches. I seriously doubt they give Kingston or Storm the world title despite them being the two most viable candidates for the belt.
