That's usually how studio wrestling works, yeah. I don’t remember old NWA on TBS being like that. I feel like they had fans are two or three sides. They had 2 sides. But just small risers.

I just finished watching the premiere of NWA POWER. Here are my thoughts: Obligatory SPOILER Warning Nice opening promo by Nick Aldis. Eli Drake also had a good promo. Despite some perceptions that these guys may not be the best in the ring, they are personalities. This is very important. Along with James Storm, these are the guys who they will need to talk people into the seats. Eli Drake's comment about the NWA having "men" resonated with me. He's right. Most of these guys came across as big, tough guys. Not dudes playing at wrestler. It was cool seeing the Dawsons on the show. I've like them on CWF Mid Atlantic. They are a good goon tag team. Eddie Kingston!! Just turn this guy loose! I don't know if they are going to put James Storm in a feud with Josephus or if it was just this show. I'm not sure about Josephus. I still haven't got over his fake Brody gimmick. Aldis vs Tim Storm was a decent main event for a studio show . It kinda brought the whole 10 Pounds of Gold story full circle. I'm not sure what to think about the playing around on whether Aldis is going to be a heel or not. It evokes the pre-Horseman days when Ric Flair could fall on either side of the line depending on who he was going against. That would be cool if they can pull it off. Hey, what wasn't there to love about that Austin Idol commercial? Overall, this was more my speed than AEW. Not a bunch of ballyhoo, just wrestling. The one hour format is also perfect, too. There is usually not enough to keep my interest during two hour shows. Especially if it's a bunch of filler. AEW had 5 matches in two hours. Some of which were longer than they should have been. I question how well the cheesy studio feel will get over. I like it but that's probably nostalgia talking. There were 12,000+ viewers watching the live feed. I don't know if that is a lot or what their expectations were. Much like MLW, this was a fun, casual show. I'll be watching. And there were enough unsigned faces that could make up a good NWA set of cards. Make it so!

I loved it........like being a kid again at 3:05 on Saturday afternoons (I was on the west coast, so it would be earlier for me on cable). The Austin Idol commercial was cool! I loved this.....because it was so different and nostalgic. We have so many shows the same, I like the chaotic feel to these TV taping studio type shows. It was organized Chaos at its best.

I absolutly loved it.
I haven't been this into pro-wrestling in a while, and I'm not even watching WWE.
AEW and NWA saving me from completely walking away.

Good show. The AI commercial was great. Cool look and feel. Eddie Kingston is the man. James Storm w a good promo. Drake v Conley was good too. Solid main event. Hell of a start for the NWA. My day off and I’ve watched the rest of AEW Dark, NWA & MLW. Not bad. Now for Dynamite. Im feeling very spoiled right now.

Has a great old school feel. Definitely going to be something I'll watch going forward.
