Due to suffering a knee injury, Bandido will not be on ROH’s Honor United UK tour. Taking his place will be Flamita, who has a well-earned reputation as one of the best high-flyers in pro wrestling.
Bandido went to ROH officials and requested that Flamita be the one to replace him. Bandido and Flamita are frequent tag team partners on the international independent scene.
Flamita, who has been compared to the legendary Rey Mysterio, will make his ROH debut against Colt Cabana on Oct. 25 in London; team with Tracy Williams in a tag match against Villain Enterprises’ Marty Scurll and Flip Gordon on Oct. 26 in Newport, Wales; and take on “Speedball” Mike Bailey in a first-time-ever dream match on Oct. 27 in Bolton, England.
Flamita has made a name for himself in Mexico and Japan as well as the California-based Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. He and Bandido are former tag team champions for Crash Lucha Libre in Mexico and Progress Wrestling in the UK. A tag match pitting Flamita and Bandido against Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix main-evented Night 1 of PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles last month and received rave reviews.

Shame that Bandido is hurt but nice for Flamita to get some more exposure.

I hope Bandido vs Speedball ends up happening eventually once Bandido returns.
