Rocketeer is such an awesome movie. Did not realize it was on Plus. Haven't used the service since I finished Mando. Gonna have to fire it up. Funny thing is I had watched it once as a kid and didn't like it. I never really gave it another chance until a few years ago. I've been missing out all these years. It's a great movie! Its weird man. It's like one of those movies that obviously designed for kids. But even I as a kid thought, "This is old people stuff." And it took a little age and maturity to realize how amazing and timeless it is.

Tonight, since it was May 4th, I watched some more of the Clone Wars Season 1. I am now almost halfway through Season 1 and, while I am stuck at home, I hope to get all the way through the last season, Season 7, by the end of the Summer.

I'm a little bit into Season 2 of Clone Wars. For some reason, I've never been able to dive into it like I have everything else Star Wars. I do need to get caught up, as I've heard great things about Season 7.

So this may sound a little weird ... I'm a die hard clone wars and rebels fan and honestly the strength of both series brings up my grades for the prequel trilogy. Star wars to me is to big a story to be told in one or two movies and I think that's why the new trilogy doesnt really hold up.
The clone wars series begins after the second movie and I feel really helps with character development and some of the plot threads. Yeah some new stuff comes up but at the same time it's a very fun series and goes more into lore which is appreciated.
You have so much lore, so many interesting characters being able to tell their story with more time in a TV series really goes a long way. I would say there are some episodes you might go what the heck is this but for the large part it's a really great show.

I also heard that Season 7 sets up the appearances of Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2.

Getting caught up with Clone Wars because of what's going to happen in Mandalorian Season 2 is my reason for finishing it!

Tonight I watched the last episode (#22) of Season 1 where the bounty hunters led by Cad Bane took over the Senate. I will probably start watching Season 2 tomorrow.
Since I am not working this Summer and stuck at home, I will probably have no problem getting through Season 7 before The Mandalorian Season 2 starts in October.

I am still working my way on watching the Clone Wars seasons. Yesterday I watched Season 2 Episode 17 (I will watch Season 2 Episode 18 tonight) and the episode started off saying In Memory of Akira Kurosawa. I did not know who Akira Kurosawa was so I looked him up and it turns out he is a Japanese filmmaker whose movies including Hidden Fortress and The Seven Samurai were big influences on George Lucas as he was making Star Wars:

Tonight I finished watching Season 2 of the Clone Wars and started Season 3.
The last few episodes have been great and included one of my favorite characters Boba Fett.
I am still surprised I never saw the Cone Wars series before, I had only seen the Clone Wars animated movie that got released I think in 2008.
