I would be totally cool if the entire tournament schedule were to happen in one day.

I'm just curious if date and location announcement will be coming soon? Just asking because I need to have my vacation request form turned in by next Friday.

I'm cool with one day but if we do, we will have to run smaller tournaments for the most part. No way we'll be able to do more than 1 32 and Canada Cup in one day.

Question guys. Would you prefer a longer 1 day con at a reduced cost that stretches into the evening and be able to travel back home earlier on Sunday and not miss anything, or would you prefer a shorter Saturday con and a continuation on Sunday at a higher cost, similar to how we have done things most years in the past? Either way there would be some activity on Friday evening and the same amount of game play and activities. Generally curious as I have heard arguments for both sides. I know many folks can just come 1 day and many others are itching to leave the con on Sunday as soon as possible to get back home, so not sure the 2nd short day is really worth it. If we did this I could find a worthwhile activity on Sunday for those still in town or who want to extend the visit (ie baseball game). Thanks for your feedback. My perfect con would be: 1) Get into town Friday and hit up some Friday night wrestling, hanging with friends. 2) All day Con Saturday at a place that allows us to close it out (or at least stay late until 11 or so), playing tournaments and having fun all day and night. 3) Saturday night late night hanging w pals, out at a bar or something. 4) Wake up Sunday, have breakfast and head home. If we can extend Saturday by a few hours and fit the GCON Cup and Canada Cup info a late night Saturday Night At The Matches, that would be perfect. I completely agree with this schedule, although I will probably also stay around later on Sunday and do something and/or fly to a different location for a day or so before going back home.

I've only been able to make it to a couple, but I'll throw my hat in the ring. Swarms idea is good, especially if you have a long travel time.

OK guys for the weekend, we are planning on July 10-12. Hope to have an announcement about a location for everyone soon. But I hope that helps for time off requests.

I think one day is better too. Damn, was hoping it would’ve been the next weekend. Especially if it hits Chicago and not closer to home. The following weekend has an event I’m interested in, in Chicago.
