As we reflect on the end of 2088, I have to say it has been a crazy ride and the final card of ROV was no exception...
- Spacecroppers getting the IP Tag (which I made fun of but realized later that in my original fed back in '88-'89, they were 2X Galaxian Tag Champs somehow) in what seemed to be a crazy match.
- In the first ever Aethran Ultimate Escape match in ROV history, the Aethrans pulled it off and retained! That was amazing since I think the team of Badger/Battering Ram is better than Gladiators pre-Cleansing...weak link (of course) is Reptilo.
- The fireslinger finding out that life is going to get a little rougher as the Galactic Punisher strolled into town. Bishop Hell won this match but they'll meet again!
- The "great one" (Omega) wrestling his last match and guiding his son later in the evening to victory over the much maligned Gamemaster.
- Bounty Hunter doing something that he was unable to do in my fed (or my son's fed) and capture gold. I hope he has a long title reign.
Great year and great ending to a classic era sir!

Wolf made Hunter tap. He's gonna win his title back soon. It was nice of Star Warrior to let someone else on his team make an elimination.

Ring of Vega (ROV) Preview of Show #26 February 2089 Vega Garden Planet Vega (First Half of show)
- commentators: Torin Caelum and Backlash
Match #1: Reptillo defeated Trainer Jim
- Reptillo won this opening match via his LIZARD CLUTCH
Match #2: Powerhouse defeated Beauty and the Best (accompanied by Sweet Thing)
- Powerhouse absolutely dominated Beauty and the Beast and quickly got an easy victory when Massif pinned Vanity via a piledriver.
- Afterward, Powerhouse said they have the ROV Tag Team Champions The Gladiators in their sights!
Match #3: Mesmer defeated Mad Jester (accompanied by Royal Overlord)
- this rematch from Star Wars 2 ended with its previous result with a victory by Mesmer who submitted Mad Jester via BLACKOUT
- although Mad Jester lost this match, Caelum and Backlash point out that Jester still has an upcoming title match due to being a Survivor in last month's Elimination Games
Match #4: Ghengis Khan and Mutant defeated the IP Tag Team Champions Space Croppers in a non-title match
- This match was non-title because, even though Khan was a Survivor at last month's Elimination Games, both of the Space Croppers also were Survivors at the Elimination Games thus requiring another Survivor to first defeat them in a non-title match in order to get that title shot.
- Khan and Mutant won when Khan pinned Renegade via TWIN THRUST.
- As Khan victoriously yells "Karataay!," Caelum and Backlash point out that as a result next month Khan and Mutant will be challenging the Space Croppers for the IP Tag Team Championship!
Match #5: Greek Gods (managed by Solaris) defeated Executioner and Death Knight (both managed by Darkos)
- an extremely good tag match, the Greek Gods won when Actagon pinned Death Knight via a backward leg sweep.
Intermission. Second Half posted next.
