GOLF LEGEND MICKEY WRIGHT DEAD AT 85 After Heart Attack Mickey Wright -- one of the greatest females golfers EVER -- has died after suffering a heart attack ... her attorney said on Monday. She was 85 years old. Sonia Pawluc, Wright's lawyer, told the Associated Press that Mickey had been battling health issues after she was hospitalized in Florida this past month following a bad fall. "One of the best to ever play the game, she will be greatly missed," The World Golf Hall of Fame said in a statement Monday. "#RIPMickey" Wright is a legend on the golf course ... she famously won 82 events on the LPGA Tour and also recorded 13 major championship wins. In fact, her swing was so buttery smooth ... Ben Hogan called it the best he had EVER seen. She joined the LPGA Tour in 1955 ... before retiring from playing full-time in 1969. She died just 3 days after her 85th birthday.

JA'NET DUBOIS 'GOOD TIMES' STAR DEAD AT 74 Ja'net Dubois -- one of the main characters on "Good Times" -- was found dead Tuesday ... TMZ has learned. Ja'net played the Evans family's sassy neighbor Willona Woods on the classic '70s TV series. Her family tells us ... Ja'net died unexpectedly in her sleep overnight at her home in Glendale, CA. It's unclear who discovered her body Tuesday morning. We're told Ja'net hadn't complained of any specific ailments recently, and appeared to be in good health to those around her. She even attended a fan event in Hollywood a couple weeks ago. Ja'net might be most famous for "Good Times," but she also composed and sang the theme song, "Movin' On Up," for "The Jeffersons" -- so, she should also be remembered for her voice. She appeared in tons of movies over the years, including "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka", "Tropic Thunder" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle." Ja'net's acting career began on Broadway, where she was cast in a number of plays including "Golden Boy" with Sammy Davis Jr. and Louis Gossett Jr. -- plus "A Raisin In The Sun." She also won two Emmy awards for her voice-over work on "The PJs."

She is perhaps best known for her role as Tisha’s grandmother in “Boyz n the Hood.” The actress also appeared in numerous television shows and movies including "Melrose Place," "Sister Sister," CW’s "Hart of Dixie," and 2016's controversial and award-winning film "The Birth of a Nation."

Zoe Caldwell Dies: Four-Time Tony Winner Who Played Maria Callas In ‘Master Class’ Was 86 Zoe Caldwell, a veteran stage, TV and film actress who won four Tony Awards and originated the Broadway roles of Maria Callas in Master Class and the title character in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, has died. She was 86. Her son, Charlie Whitehead, said she died Sunday of Parkinson’s disease complications at her home in Pound Ridge, NY. Caldwell won four lead actress Tony Awards spanning 30 years. Along with Master Class (1996) and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1968), she also scored trophies for Slapstick Tragedy (1966) and Madea (1982). Along with her 45-year career on the Great White Way, the Australia native appeared in such films as Woody Allen’s The Purple Rose of Cairo and the 2002 Disney toon Lilo & Stitch. Among her many telefilm roles were adaptations of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her most recent credit was as Oskar’s (Thomas Horn) grandmother in the 2011 film Extremely Loud and Dangerously Close. Caldwell performed or directed in a dozen Broadway shows during her career. Along with her Tony-hailed performances, she also trod the boards in shows including The Play What I Wrote (2003), Lillian (1986), Dance of Death (1974) and The Creation of the World (1972). Her Main Stem directing credits include Park Your Car in Harvard Yard (1991), Macbeth (1988) and An Almost Perfect Person (1977). Born on September 14, 1933, in Melbourne, Australia, Caldwell began her professional career at age 9 in a production of Peter Pan and went on to appear in productions at Melbourne’s Union Theatre Repertory Company and the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre Company. She moved to London to join the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1959. Caldwell began her American stage career as an original member of the company at the Tyrone Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. She made her Broadway debut in 1965 as a replacement player in The Devils. But she likely will be best remembered for first playing opera great Maria Callas in Terrence McNally’s Master Class, a role that Tyne Daly played in the 2011 Broadway revival. The show features Callas teaching a singing course in an auditorium at the Juilliard School during the 1970s. She regales the students in tales of run-ins with critics, bringing the house down at La Scala and her relationships. The show played nearly 600 perfiormances from 1995-97 at the John Golden Theatre. Her other signature role was in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, which she originated on Broadway after Vanessa Redgrave played it in London’s West End. Maggie Smith won an Oscar for the 1969 film adaptation, which also fueled the smash pop single “Jean,” written by Rod McKuen and sung by Oliver.

Rapper Pop Smoke Dead, Murdered in Home Invasion Robbery at 20 The rapper was at a home in the Hollywood Hills at around 4:30 AM when 2 men wearing hoodies and masks broke into a house ... this according to law enforcement sources. We're told the 2 men fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke. The men were seen fleeing on foot. Pop Smoke was rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead. The suspects have not been caught and as far as we know they have not been identified. It's unclear if Pop Smoke knew the shooters. One man was placed in handcuffs but cops determined he was not involved and was released. Pop Smoke released an album back in July and one of the songs, "Welcome to the Party," blew up ... it was considered by many the song of the summer. Nicki Minaj did a remix of the song a few months later. He also did a song, "Gatti," with Travis Scott. Pop Smoke was 20.

British actor John Shrapnel who starred in Notting Hill and Gladiator dies aged 77 after cancer battle hrapnel was also known for his extensive theatre and voiceover work He was celebrated for his theatre work as a member of the National Theatre Company and the Royal Shakespeare Company. He featured in films including Notting Hill, in which he memorably played Julia Roberts’ character’s publicist, Gladiator, Troy and 101 Dalmations. Well known for his voiceover work, he also appeared in TV shows such as Inspector Morse, Waking the Dead, Foyle’s War and Bodyguards. His final TV role was in the small screen adaptation of Mike Bartlett’s play King Charles III, in which he played the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Former NASCAR driver Candace Muzny found dead in home The 43-year-old former driver was in the news last month after allegedly punching a nail technician for not speaking English. Muzny also was accused of cutting the responding police officer with a knife. She’d only been out of jail for a few days, released Friday. She was 43
