And another Luchadore Ares El Guerrero, born José Francisco González López, passed away at the age of 50 on Friday. The site reports that Ares began his wrestling career in 1988 at the age of 18. He worked with some smaller promotions in Mexico before he joined CMLL in 1998.

Not sure whats going on in Mexico but another Luchador passed away Legendary luchador “El Chacho” Herodes, who passed away this morning. Debuting in 1969, his career spanned multiple decades and was a part of some of the biggest angles and feuds in history.

9 Lucharores(6 Masked) died in over a week I don't know about (or more accurately have been very busy with work and am not up on international news) numbers south of the border, but could any of these be Covid related? Has some of the Latin American countries and Mexico been impacted higher? It is a loss either way, but just wondering. (Side bar - Jim, thanks for putting these up all the time. Really appreciate it.)

Really appreciate it.) It might be a coincidence but Mexico and Brazil are two of the heaviest hit countries in Latin America in terms of COVID-19.
