 Former CZW wrestler Z BARR Passes away at 38 He had retired from pro wrestling in 2012. Tom Hirshmann, the man who would become Z-Barr, began his foray into the world of pro wrestling in 1999, when he was trained at the CZW Dojo at the age of 17. He made his CZW debut that summer and almost immediately entered the title picture for the CZW Iron Man Championship. During his time with CZW, he was part of a viral video that saw Z-Barr get covered in hundreds of chairs at the hands of Zandig and “Sick” Nick Mondo. Z-Barr continued to work with CZW until 2009, but also worked in various other US indie promotions, most notably Philadelphia’s Pro Wrestling Unplugged (PWU), NWA Wildside in Georgia, New Jersey’s National Wrestling Superstars (NWS), and Florida’s IPW Hardcore Wrestling. He was a 2x tag team champion alongside Nick Berk in The Softcore Connection, winning the IPW and NWA Florida Tag Team Championships. In 2007, he captured the PWU Television title. |

  Dundee wrestler Dave Kidney passed away yesterday peacefully in his sleep. Dave turned semi professional shortly after the war, In 1959 he defeated George Allan at the Caird Hall, Dundee, to win the BWA British Featherweight Championship. The fight was reported in the Dundee Courier and he defended his title around the country. Dave worked for many independent promoters as well as Joint Promotions throughout his career and in later life became a trainer and promoter He was 78 |

And another Former Glow Girl Sally the Farmer's Daughter passed away from cancer R.I.P., Becky Mullen! My high school BFF didn't like "Sally", then when she was on "Married with Children" (see below), I said to him, "She's hot, yes?" He says, "Yeah!" I go, "That's SALLY THE FARMER'S DAUGHTER!"  So yeah, poor Sally. She and Mountain Fiji are awaiting the rest of the GLOW Girls in heaven, and I need a ringside seat!  Todd C WTIC |
