JOHN PESEK beat Champion MAD DOG VACHON with the Tiger Man Toehold finisher to win the belt.
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
FABULOUS KANGAROOS (AL COSTELLO & ROY HEFFERNAN) (Mgr. “WILD RED BERRY) beat Champions ROAD WARRIORS (ANIMAL & HAWK) (Mgr. PAUL ELLERING) when Heffernan beat Animal with the Step Over Toehold finisher to win the belts. There was controversy, though. The Kangaroos threw Animal out of the ring and to the floor. Hawk charged in, but Referee Bill Alfonso told Hawk in no uncertain terms that he was to return to his corner. Ellering screamed at Alfonso as well. While that was going on, Berry smashed Animal over the head with a chair, and Costello rolled Animal back into the ring. Heffernan applied the Toehold, and Alfonso almost immediately called for the bell. Ellering protested, but Alfonso said Animal waved his hands in a sign of submission. Alfonso then jumped out of the ring, grabbed the belts and handed them to the Kangaroos, and trotted away.
The next Tag Team Tournament was announced for Sunday, March 29. Quarterfinal round matches are:

ELIMINATION CHAMBER EIGHT-MAN ELIMINATION MATCH INSIDE A STEEL CAGE TO DETERMINE CHALLENGE SEEDING FOR THE NEXT TOURNAMENT
Eight wrestlers were each inside a pod, with a pod opening every two minutes. Pinfalls or submissions may take place at any time during the match. The wrestlers were not known until their release from the pod.
Number One pod: GIANT BABA
Number Two pod: HARDCORE HOLLY (Heckel)
Number Three pod: KILLER KOWALSKI
Number Four pod: RED BASTIEN. Bastien was almost immediately eliminated by Baba.
Number Five pod: WILLIAM MULDOON “THE SOLID MAN”
Number Six pod: DEWEY ROBERTSON. He was eliminated in short order by Kowalski.
Number Seven pod: LARRY LATHAM (Heckel)
Number Eight pod: BOBBY BLAZE (Heckel)
Latham eliminated Muldoon. Kowalski eliminated Latham. Baba eliminated Blaze. Holly eliminated Kowalski. Finally, Holly eliminated Baba to earn the Number One challenge seed in the tournament.

Plans were to have the majority of events at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, and LegendsMania itself at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, America, and the world, are now facing something unprecedented, a real threat to humanity. The COVID-19 virus, also known as coronavirus, is necessitating a massive scaling back of activities worldwide. The Legends Wrestling Federation and National Wrestling Alliance are no different. The in-ring events will still take place, but in a different venue. LegendsMania and its affiliated cards, including the Best in Florida tournament, will now be held at the iconic Tampa Sportatorium, before no fans. Only wrestlers and essential personnel will be allowed inside, but the world will see everything via the Legends Network. We will bring you only the greatest action, live from Tampa. Come join us!
