Not a bad Rumble, though I have other favorites. I thought Bayley was going to lose since they don't have any other faces to fight her. Maybe WM will be Charlotte vs. Bayley and Lynch v. Rousey. Or they could have a tag match with both belts on the line.
Wyatt's my favorite at the moment, and even though I also like Bryan, I'm not bothered by that outcome. Probably going to be Fiend v. Roman at WM since Roman is pretty much the only SD face left.
I honestly thought Lesnar was going to get eliminated early, only to come back and win at the end. This would've accomplished two things: given Lesnar his nice short match and leaving fans incensed at the end of the RR (which the WWE seems to enjoy). I was wrong, but not complaints. I'm not sure if they're planning on making Drew the top face or just a placeholder until they figure out someone else, but I have no complaints about him.
I still think they should've kept the belt on Rollins when he turned heel. Give the Authors the tag belts and you have you dominant stable going into WM.
Overall though, no complaints about the show. It wasn't one of my favorites, but it wasn't bad at all.

So is Drew a face now? All of a sudden he’s fighting heels with no explanation unless I missed something (quite possible).

I wonder if Charlotte will challenge both Becky & Bayley to a triple threat match at Wrestlemania.

That thought crossed my mind too. Try to bring up the ratings for NXT in the Wednesday Night War against AEW.

The Royal Rumble is my most favorite PPV that the WWE runs...the match can have so many phases with the various muber of participants at a given time, I mean it was one on one for almost 20 minutes this year with Lesnar RULING it, then it morphed into one of the best multiple wrestler in the ring at one time event that we have seen in a while.
HOWEVER, and I tweeted something akin to this after the rumble...WWE needs to STOP making this the pathway to Mania. Book Mania on its own it can stand alone...there are still 2 PPVs til that Mania that you can build to it from. Every year you can ALMOST pick the winner from a handful of guys (and gals)because of the Mania title tie-in. If they stop with the tie-in, anyone can win and they can use it to build someone and not have to stick them smack in the Main Event at Mania.
I guess I just want to be surprised one year...I was really hoping they would let Lesnar run the table...set an incredible new precedence and then be forced to make people work to challenge him at Mania. of well...

I’m probably mistaken, but both Naomi and John Morrison (to a lesser extent) looked like they botched. Was Morrison supposed to land on the ringside barrier? Maybe Brock botched the throw but it looked awkward to me and Morrison looked surprised/upset as well? And why did Naomi jump from the steps to the table, back to the ring? Maybe I missed something but both spots looked odd to me.

He took a hard fall, but I could see it maybe suppossed to be something else. The Naomi spot seemed fine to me. She caught herself on the barricade, eventually got up and walked over to get ontop of the announce desks and eventually took a piece of the desk to use as a plank to get back in.
