Hey guys so I'm through Year 1 of my fed version 3 and have noticed some fun differences and some eerie similarities. Also watched cryptic Cowboys youtube video on original vs color and thought it would have been neat to run an alternate reality with the color cards.
Anyway figured I'd post a thread on here for those of us that have done a reboot ... what differences and weird similarities happened when you rebooted your fed?

In my history I have had three feds or I'd like to think alternate realities. My first GWF fed took place in our current timelines WWF. So originally I actually used King of the Ring and Royal Rumble and actually used real life stats in my fed history. I also played for five years without finding out the game continued on lol.
GWF 2087 version 1 - Thantos and Star Warrior traded the title back and forth. Thantos would usually hold it for three months lose to Star Warrior and then win it back days later. Massif and Wolf eventually broke through and replaced Star Warrior in this title feud. Nexus never won the big one but help the IP and the tag titles often. My original Galaxian singles and tag I remember had many title holders in a short span of time. Eventually Wrestlemania became Civil War and King of the Ring became MegaTournament. Funny side note, Massif has won the first MT in all three incarnations of my feds somehow and the second winner has always been someone who fate has built up to get the title for the first time (Proteus, Wolf, Lord Nexus).
LAW 2087 version 2 - in this reboot I did weight classes so you had Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight and Lightweight. Massif dominated the heavyweight and Thantos controlled the light heavyweight keeping it away from Wolf until he won MT. This version saw more turmoil for Omegas family as SW failed to grab any titles for the first time which we see continuing in the newest fed. I liked the weight class idea as it gave some interesting new feuds and for the first time I put Lord Nexus in royal court and liked that move.
LAW 2087 version 3 - continuing trends Thantos is the first ever champion with a long reign (first time I have had a one year plus reign since Wraith in my first version). My dice do not like SW as his title drout continues. Not since the first version the undercard really shines here. I feel Vanity and Queen have taken a step back but Mutant and Ghengis Khan took a huge step up this version. I missed tag in my second version but here unlike my first version where Brute and Massacre were ten time champs and would win lose win lose over their careers, they just throttle everyone. Brute and Massacre have only lost three matches in the span of a year and a half for me (Massacre has lost four when he lost the IP title). I'm letting this streak ride and then may switch Wolf and Massacre to give him one big Galaxian title push before he stays at tag. Krakan like in previous feds finds a way to win the IP title but never has got the top spot either.

The original fed I ran when I 1st started playing in the 90s had Thantos as the top dog until Chaos came around, then Chaos was the man then Pegasus.
Upon my return I ran a fed and Thantos was the man until Spike came through. Spike then was the dominant champ. He and Chaos feuded for the title with Spike coming out on top most of the time. Pegasus then took the torch from Spike. But Spike had year long title reigns, were he beat people quickly consistently.
Now in my most recent reboot, due to the fact that I've never used the choice charts and I see how greatly it influences the game. Star Warrior, a guy I always viewed as overrated lived up to his billing. The Star Warrior and Thantos feud meant a lot. The Matador then took Star Warrior's place as the Alpha Dog and Spike, the man who previously was setting records left and right only won 1 GWF title. I'm now in 2102 and I fully expect Pegasus to underachieve lol.

Yeah in this current reboot, I was really scared after Thantos dominated 2087. Nexus had a nice run but Star Warrior seemed to not show up until 12 supercards into this reboot. Star Warrior finally just grabbed the Galaxian title and I was happy to see him do it.
Spike and Wolf have had their moments but haven't nabbed a title yet.
I always really liked Pegasus, Chaos DOMINATED my second version ...
