on_the_edge's Battle Among the Stars is a cool PPV name. I need to figure out a name for my year ending show in my Ring of Centra (ROC) fed. My GWF fed Ring of Vega uses Star Wars as its biggest/year ending show (I am a big Star Wars fan) and I am hoping to figure out a somewhat similar name for Ring of Centra (ROC.)

I liked how it worked on two levels. I guess Jar Jar Invitational wouldn't work. If you use it to kick off a new "season" you could use New Hope. Like everyone has hope going forward to being their year and being on top. Some variation of Rise might work. |

I've been watching a lot of World Class Championship Wrestling on the WWE Network, and they just had an event called Star Wars: The Super Bowl of Wrestling. My first thought was that lawyers would be salivating at that name today...lol. I also like on_the_edge not using Earth units of time for events. I've tried in the past to change things as much as possible in terms of time, money, etc., but it's too hard and I gave up...lol. |

When I was coming up with show names this time around Star Wars was on my list I came up with and for some reason this time around I really like the longer names. They seem to pop more in my word document I have on my computer.
I also dont like using the normal calendar. 52 weeks a year, what jerk makes someone work the last two weeks of the year? Plus 50 is a nice round number so I do four shows and a supercard. 10 supercards, 5 normal big match deals and then 5 with some sort of special event (rumble, tournament, etc)

What a great thread and some awesome ppv events and names. I’m not as creative in my GWF golden era fed..I use the names of the sets as my PPV names.I started with only two PPVs for 2087-2090 Invasion and the main PPV Galactic Wars (Wrestlemania equivalent). With mainly house shows/TV. As the years go on I will add a new PPV with every new cycle of Sets, so I will add Wargames PPV in 2091 to take the total ppvs up to 3...and so on. The fun part is thinking of unique ideas for each PPV..so Invasion is at the start of the year and features all the debuting wrestlers for the year in a tournament and Wargames will have a faction based survivor series type focus.

Another one you could go for is Galactic Battle. basically final battle from ROH just gives it that bigger feel. |

For a year end PPV I used Kingdom Come, before Tom lol. Other ones I thought of for other feds were Armageddon and Legacy. With the Michael Jordan documentary coming out, I kinda like The Last Dance as a year end PPV too |
