One thing I am doing as I am currently off work and mostly stuck at home for the next month is reading The Shining (and then I am going to read the sequel Doctor Sleep) as I have both of the books at home.
In your opinion, what are the best Stephen King books?

I think Dolores Claiborne is the only one of these I haven't read. For my money, King peaked with It but 11/22/63 is a great later King book.

I've never read much SK though I know most of the stories but 11/22/63 was quite interesting.

I love a lot of King books but 11/22/63 is not only my favorite, it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. Easily in my top 5.

I love a lot of King books but 11/22/63 is not only my favorite, it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. Easily in my top 5. Very cool! The public libraries and Barnes & Noble here are shut down, but I may need to order 11/22/63 online. Many of the books on this poll I have not read, but I did actually buy Joyland at a Galactical (not the most recent location but the other/previous comic book store location.) I thought it was a good book and definitely worth reading. It took me awhile to figure out who the killer was at the theme park in the book. |

I've never ready any Stephen King book . Only seen the films (I voted for) Misery , Thinner , The Green Mile & Cujo
