In my final card before my February PPV, Splatter performed Splatter’s Lottery on King Lear. King Lear is now injured for 6 cards and Splatter is suspended for 3 cards. This will cause Splatter to not defend his title in the traditional 31 day window every title should be defended. What should I do?

To me, a feud over the title sounds like the best angle.

As a further punishment he should drop the Belt.He and King Lear still can compete in a Grudge Match to become Number One Contender for the Title 😈

To me, a feud over the title sounds like the best angle. Agreed. Keep the story simple, but make the match vicious!

When I first started playing this game, many many many years ago, my first "authority figure" was my father. When something happened like this, I would bring the facts to him and he would make a ruling, which I would weave into my storylines.
In cases like this, my father would say that if Splatter can't defend the title because he's suspended, he should give it up. It would be different if he had been injured through no fault of his own, but he chose to take the action that led to his suspension. That means, in essence, he chose to perform some shenanigans instead of defending his title, or put another way, he weaseled our of a title defense by getting himself suspended.
My father would have scheduled a mini-tournament between the top four contenders; winner gets the belt. When Splatter and Lear are both back, they wrestle and the winner gets a title shot at whoever won the tournament.
Dad Booking 101.

I love these conundrums. I agree that a suspension meaning he cannot defend is of his own doing. So I'd strip him of the belt and schedule a mini 4 or 8 man tournament. I'd keep the title vacant til the suspension is served (if it is a short one) but let Splatter enter the tournament to at least have a chance of winning the belt back. You could even make it a 6 man one night tournament and give byes to the 2nd round Dragonmaster and Splatter with fatigue tokens carried for all matches. A grudge match between Lear and Splatter definetely beckons though after the dust has settled

I already played it out now. Since this was the first Splatter’s lottery, Commissioner Carter was more lenient than usual. The result is Splatter must defend the title against DragonMaster on his first card back after suspension. If he retains he will then face off against King Lear in a Cosmic Cage Match at my Galacticon Supercard.

Whatever works best for the promotion, but you can vacate the title and hold it for a return match between the two. But that'd be a long time for that belt to be off the spotlight in the promotion. So much shelf life can kill things. Some things to consider:
1) Maybe and "Outlaw" match between the two? 2) Hold that tournament, but upon his return have Splatter attack the person who won the belt.
