Yes he is..and let me tell you this...Mickey jot JACKED for the role and he is a true athlete....a close source says he trained so much that he is better than half the WWE roster at this moment...The Jericho match could be very good at Mania...

I never had a chance to see THE WRESTLER, since it's not playing in the Dayton area I just checked moviefone.com for you and it opens up in a bunch of places in the Dayton area tomorrow (Friday 1/30). It is opening up right by me this weekend too, so I think I may finally go check it out. Can't wait.

You will not be disappointed...Even if I wasn't a wrestling fan, I'd tell you Rourke gives one of the more memorable performances in recent history. Being a wrestling fan, it makes all of your worst fears about what happens to our "heroes" after the spotlight fades come true. The producers of this film left no stone unturned in bringing every single aspect of the business to the big screen. Yes, it's THAT good & if he doesn't walk away with the oscar, it would truly be a "gross miscarriage of justice"...

Except his publicist says he's "pulled out of the match".

Vince throws more publicity at the movie and more $$$$$$ at Mickey and I think they get this done. The only reason I think he doesn't do it is if he's hurt or some big film co. offers him a big role with serious cash; thus prioritizing him.

Hey guys. So I finished both a movie version and an "in his prime" version. I have to test them out and I will post them tonight or in the morning. (I am at work now)

I still think they just said that to not hurt his chances at an Oscar, and then after he wins (and you know he will), they'll announce that it's back on, and all will be right with the world...I hope. Speaking of this movie, I found somewhere to acquire it (screw paying $12 to see it in a theater with a bunch of idiots imo), just need a blank DVD+R.
