Didn’t realize I hadn’t created a thread for my legends fed, it has been awhile! Just getting into 1982 and what a CIVIL WAR 3 Main Event do we have!?!?!?! This is my wrestlemania for my fed and do we have an epic for you ...
THE GIANT vs THE NATURE BOY! Andre/Flair. Not sure if these two ever met but I’ll find out tomorrow who wins!

Hey all, so you know me with my alternate timeline fed I am closing in on certain things and debating how I should play them in my fed.
1) Snuka ... so by pure coincidence I just realized my next big show CIVIL WAR (my mania event) will take place May 17, 1983. This would be one week after the incident with Nancy Argentino. Snuka is just starting to take off in my fed and am debating if I want to talk about this. Maybe he just didnt meet Nancy in this timeline or maybe I go the other way with it.
2) Magnum TA ... I'm a couple years away but I feel the dice are starting to set this up. Hes starting an upward run finally winning singles gold and now chasing the IC title. Does his accident happen or not?
3) Bruiser Brody ... kind of all over on this guy as he seems to be all over the place in my fed. Dominant for couple months then loses some big matches. Hes been a good guy and on this one i am thinking I already know what I'm doing here. I think he is going to leave my fed at the beginning of that year, go to leave for Puerto Rico but the guys up top in LAW will actually give him a cushy booking job here so he never leaves and gets a kind of happy ending.
For some reference I have changed some major events. In the 75 plane crash, Flair took a bad injury and thought he was retired where as Johnny V kept going. Flair just resurfaced in 1982 having got some sort of miracle cure (he actually gets robotic implants to fix his back from Diamond Medical which plot twist is the same family that eventually becomes the royal court in GWF). I have also made cannon Terry Bollea is a baseball player for the Cincinnati Reds as he never suffered an injury as a kid.
Alternate timeline idea has been real fun as a former wannabe history teacher. How do events affect the greater timeline? What happens when they play out slightly different? Anyway just thought I'd share my thoughts here I have during breakfast, have 30 minutes of P90X3 before I play out chapter five in 1983 and have to make a decision on Snuka.

So the Jimmy Snuka decision became in my timeline is that Nancy left him the week before and Jimmy no shows the event he was supposed to be in because he gets in trouble with the law for being under the influence. Vincent Colby steps in and gets him help and decides to pair him up with his friend Terry Gordy to help get him cleaned up.
Snuka taking chapter 5 and 6 off and then coming back as Terry Gordys mystery partner at that supercard. Steve Willians been on fire and I want to push him in singles again. Snuka and Gordy will see what happens.

You mentioned this in my return/intro thread. Wanted to check this out. This looks awesome. Love alt-history in general and you can have some major butterfly effect scenarios by changing little things. The Snuka one being the biggest one. If it weren't for the drug dependency, Superfly could've been one of the biggest stars in wrestling. Way bigger than he is in regular history. Same with Bruiser in the perfect world if he didn't get killed/was consistent/didn't go into business for himself or against the promoter.
Been playing a lot of Vampire: Dark Ages lately (tabletop), and they have a thing for world effect or destiny type rolls that could change the course of the game. Leaving it up to chance. Might be something to apply to this game?
Gonna bookmark this thread. Interested in seeing where you go with it.

Thanks when I get caught up I plan on posting more show results, but getting laid off and quarantined I'm trying to play as much as I can.
I love alternate history and I really wanted to play that up in this incarnation. I'm giving Snuka a different path and we will see where it goes.

Going to be finishing up 1983 today after P90X3 ... I need to update my champions lol.
The big stories going into the end of 83 is Flairs taking helm of the horsemen (Flair, Tully, Arn and Hennig) and the world title. Him and Piper aren’t quite done and Dusty has worked his way into things. Almost magically setting up a sweet four on four feud if I throw the road warriors in there and wanted to do a war games.
- Andre hangs around wrestling two super cards a year but will prolly start touring the world. I’d like him to stick around and fight Sting once and maybe Vader once. Would be good bump for Vader to end Andre.
- Mildred Burke is unstoppable and honestly may surpass the two year mark as champion ... she’s handled Martel and Moolah all year. Doesn’t help penny has had a bad year. - tag title scene dominated by kangaroos and express, road warriors have struggled hard in this incarnation and I could see them wanting out (sadly I don’t have the tag teams to allow but maybe that will be a good thing) - IC title leapfrogs around more than I would want it to, flair held most of the year before dropping to Hennig who then dropped to Inoki. I don’t see Inoki sticking around too much longer but he’s got the belt. - HM I was really happy to see don leo get his first reign before dusty swept in and took it. I’d like Dusty to have a decent run as he’s got a feud with Tully lined up here.
- thinking I might switch back to my champions fed since I hit card 200 here for legends. Might do one year champions and then two years back to this that way both would be at the same place kind of in their histories.

Alright guys LAW 1983 is in the books, I've decided to stick around in the 80s some more and hope to play out 84 and 85 here while quarantined at home. But first let's update the LAW title history document and let everyone take a gander ...

The HORSEMEN era kind of got kicked off in the end of 1983 with Hennig rounding out the four instead of Barry Wyndham. Wyndham has been kind of up and down but starting to stabilize and nabbed the IC title to end the year. WOMENS TITLE: Not sure who is going to stop Mildred Burke as she officially hits the two year mark with the womens title. CRAZY! My first fed I ever ran only one person ever held the title longer than one year. In my second fed the same person and a handful of others did. This time around we have a lot of long reigns already and now this. Burke has been pretty much unstoppable with her only losses coming at the hands of Sherri Martel. TAG TEAM: Kind of happy for Gordy to finally get a tag title run but it seems like every partner I give him gains a lot of steam and then goes on a singles run just as their about to hit their stride as a team. Express or Kangaroos will more than likely nab it back. Animal & Hawk DO SOMETHING lol. HEAVY METAL: Still waiting for that multi time HM champion but it always seems (and kind of what i had hoped), someone wins this title kind of like a reward or uses it as a stepping stone for a higher title. Rhodes I feel is ready for the next step but if he can hold on to the title a little while longer he can set the bar for that title. IC: The IC title changes hands a little bit more than I would like and I hope Wyndham can give it some stability here in 84. I see Steve Williams looking to take that title back though here shortly. WORLD: Flair has a firm grip on this title, I see him continuing his feuds with Race and Dibiase over the title. He's been able to keep them at bay for now.
ENTERING LAW here in 1984 are Toni Rose in the Women's division replacing a retiring Penny Banner which I was sad to see leave. Tag Teams got shook up a bit but entering in 84 is Arn Anderson along with Tully Blanchard and we have the unusual team of Duggan and Volkoff emerging. The three singles competitors entering the fray are Larry Zybsko, Danny Hodge and Antonino Rocca!!

Wow have been reading others results and here I am posting fed updates. Cant wait to be in a place where I am caught up ... I'm thinking 2025 lol.
Currently I'm in "1985" ... Animal & Hawk have finally showed up and our having a great title run. Dusty Rhodes and Randy Savage have come into this year on fire as neither has lost. Rhodes took the Heavy Metal title and looking to set the new bar (currently only one of two known wrestlers to have two reigns with the title).
Windham still has the IC title and is now the first IC champion to hold title longer than a year. Only title without a year long champion is the heavy metal title now. Very impressive run by Windham and here we come into MegaTournament. Going back to the MACHO MAN, he has come in like a Savage, currently undefeated and easily the #1 contender for the title. The go home show to MegaTournament features Savage vs Flair for the title!!!
Andre is still hanging around having attacked Flair for turning on his friend Curt Hennig. Flair made a huge pitch to Andre to stop worrying about his perfect friend and to come with him who can take him limousine riding, jet flying and kiss stealing. Andre hasnt responded yet mainly cause I dont know if I want Andre to turn heel again.
Lelani Kai is going to end up being an interesting story. She just cant beat Sherri Martel when the title is on the line. I thought she was going to finally do it but then got DQ'd. Then she won the queen of hearts tournament and in an epic match where again I thought she was gonna pull it out she rolled a 2 on a death jump attempt. Martel grabbed a chair and used it and someone scored the victory as the ref came to. Kai has never become champ but has come so close so many times. Burke though is the biggest surprise where she didnt lose for almost two years and now loses all the time. Moolah is right there too looking to correct the unfortunate record she holds as she will prolly forever hold the SHORTEST TITLE REIGN record as she held the title for 2 cards before dropping it to Burke who dropped it to the current champ Sherri Martel.

This is going to be a pretty big MegaTournament as I have been building up a lot of guys over the last two years.
- Windham has had a 70 card long IC title run which comes out to prolly close to 400 days as champion. - Randy Savage has come in lights out and beaten everyone so far with a flying elbow. - Dusty Rhodes is undefeated this year and has beat down all comers. - I've kind of accidentally built up Jimmy Snuka as in this timeline Andre talked him into going into rehab and didnt murder anyone in this timeline. He actually cleaned himself up, got a long tag title run with Andre and is now working his way up the singles ranks. - Harley Race is who Flair beat for the title and has tried but failed to reclaim the title. - Another person I didnt expect but has come in this year on fire and has only one loss, Jim Londos. I have been very impressed with him and would like to push him. Hoping to see a Londos/Windham feud maybe - and we cant forget Ted Dibiase. I'm starting to drop hints that he has a lot of money as hes arriving in fancy cars and staying in penthouse suites. Hes about to become the million dollar man but ranked #5 right now and a tournament win could accelerate that process.
Any of those guys I would love to see win this thing and get a shot at the title. Gonna be a fun day to see how this plays out!!!
