As much as I love these Indy sets (probably my favorite releases), I’d really love an MLW set. How is that company w letting it’s wrestlers sign W FG?
We have Hammerstone, Gringo Loco, Hart Family, Tom Lawlor, etc., but did someone sign them before they were in MLW.
I know people have inquired about JFatu before. Has anyone tried to get ahold of the Von Erich boys? I’m sure someone has. That would open up some interesting options. Grandpa Fritz anyone? We need to get a fund together to send Zeke out to the Von Erich ranch.

Hammerstone and Teddy Hart signed the release form before they were in MLW, Davey Boy Smith signed the release form in July 2018 which I think was right around when he started in MLW, Tom Lawlor had been in MLW for awhile when he signed the release form, and Gringo Loco (I think he might be one of the wrestlers along with Kotto Brazil no longer in MLW?) just signed the release form this past January. The MLW contracts are not exclusive so the wrestlers can sign to be in the game if they want. I have actually signed at least 4 names on the current MLW roster who do not have cards yet (that includes someone in MLW I signed earlier this month but does not include a MLW wrestler- a great name- who I heard back from just yesterday as I got a verbal yes from him but he has not sent me back the signed release form yet- once that gets turned in then there will be at least 5 MLW wrestlers signed without cards.) So you can probably expect some more cards for MLW wrestlers in the future at some point. |

I find the James Storm signing great even though I don’t play indies because it reminds me of my first GalactiCon. The Night before GCon started, Tom and a few other promoters went to an Impact taping event After the event, they let fans get into the ring and take pictures with, I’m thinking AJ Styles(?), and we did. But as we standing around in the arena, we see James standing off to the side just watching things and Tom approaches him to ask him to be in the game. He said he’d love to but Impact wouldn’t let him. Fun to see things come full circle. |

I REMEMBER THAT CON!!! My buddy still gives me heck about being in the ring with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels and they took a picture with me not ready for the picture lol. I think either you or Tom were behind me in line and thought it was funny too. In the picture it looks like I went to high five AJ but he moved last second and then tried to pose for the picture.
That was a good show. The dudleys put someone through a table and then signed pieces of it and gave it to people in the crowd. I remember it being a very PRO FANS show with a lot of audience interaction.

I can't say who it is, but there is one international name signed to the game who is making a name for himself right now. I signed him back in 2017. It was sort of a back-pocket type of signing at the time, as I knew he would not be released in the immediate future, but I also knew he was somebody who should be signed (and I am judicious about who I sign on these local shows) and my intuition here was 100% correct. I just saw him in the news recently and I am very excited for him. I don't know for sure, but I think he might get a card in 2021.

You’re a National Treasure Zeke! lol, I don't know about that, I was just reading some recent wrestling news and I see this name signed to the game is doing very well right now. I am excited for him and I wanted to convey my excitement here. It is a great name who I know is excited to be signed to our game. |
