This set is so fantastic! Pulsar Prime won so many GWF heavyweight Championships with SOLAR STRAIN alone! I kind of hope IRON MANE gets tweaked abit lol I mean he's a lion! one of my all time favorite sets! Cosmic Forces look great!

The Cosmic Forces were always one of my favorite early COTG tag teams as I liked the way Matter and Antimatter complemented each other on offense and defense respectively and how by working together they were more powerful.
I will definitely have the Greek Gods vs Cosmic Forces at my upcoming Star Wars 3 PPV.

Fantastic art for Cosmic Forces. I always imagined them brown and black in colour but this is so much better. Thinking back they did ok but not great for me. Loving the re release concept. Treating them more as collector editions than plans to use them much as those years have already played. I do run fed flashback cards from time to time in my fed. Imagining it is a dark card from the archives . Kind of like when Mean Gene used to host WWF classics . So can give an excuse to play a few matches with nothing on the line (and no risk to title lineage continuity)
Wondering about Doomsayer. Will he have stats on his back. Obviously his mobility ever only meant he could distract and not interfere. Am guessing some kind of stun beam scenario fired from his chair may be introduced

Am guessing some kind of stun beam scenario fired from his chair may be introduced Since the other managers who previously had blank backs on their black and white cards all now have distraction charts, I am certain Doomsayer will have a distraction chart too. I am feeling positive (Cosmic Forces pun intended) about it.

I'm kind of doing something similar, adding some new matches to house shows and supercards that I already ran. I'm not putting any titles on the line either.

I think 2090 was the year that really solidified the GWF with a real feel. The fact that guys started getting updates and that the fed was not just building and leaving the originals behind was impactful. While the growth was great in the years prior, this is the year that really brought ongoing epic federation feel to the CotG.
And while I wasn't the biggest fan of the Cosmic Forces (for some reason they just didn't roll well for me) that depiction of them...FLAT OUT reason enough to get the set (and that's just the FIRST Teaser!!!)

I also agree that the revisions added a lot to the game. Star Warrior and the Gladiators getting updates, not just the lower tier guys, was a huge deal. Does anyone else remember getting only four new guys and thinking "that's a small Rookie of the Year pool"? And then the big news in February that 2091 was coming out in June 1990! But I'm getting ahead of myself...

So I currently have access to the Cosmic Forces, just not their handbook. So I'm not sure how the +/- mechanic really works for them.
