Magnum Opus is on YouTube currently. Watching it right now. Half way through, it’s very good and can say that I’d buy a Magnum CK card as well. Maybe PP would be good timing w the doc coming out.

I would also be all over that card. I just was watching some AIW from 2018 and was noticing Magnum CK, very sad, he was great! He always kind of reminded me of Will Farrel in a good (& funny) way.

What is sad? Just as he was starting to take off and become a major part of AIW and branch out on the larger indie scene he was diagnosed with a condition that made him decide he needed to retire. AIW owner John Thorne said in the AIW podcast with Magnum that he was planning to make him the champion at Absolution, their biggest show of the year, the next summer. He did get to accomplish his wrestling goals though, and gets to continue continue expressing himself creatively in theater. Well...atleast once live theater comes back.

He's such a smart, funny, and all around good dude. He's a born entertainer.

When I saw Shawn saying that something was sad I immediately checked google to see if he had died. Thankfully that wasn't the case.

It's sad that a promising career was cut shirt against his will due to health reasons. He is still a talent, I just wish he could still be a great talented indie wrestler (or maybe in AEW it something). It's odd, I remember hearing he retired a few years ago but at the time didn't know who he was. So going through old AIW shows, I was noticing how awesome he was... I only just made the connection recently.
