Prime Pro Wrestling Title Tournament Semi-Finals
“Unbreakable” Michael Elgin def. Davey Boy Smith Jr. by disqualification Smith dominated this one stunning the fans with a delayed vertical suplex and then working the back with a pair of Sharpshooters. The referee let it go but when the action returned back to the floor a second time and Smith repeated the chair smash, Elgin was through to the finals. Colt Cabana def. “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson by disqualification Back to back controversial ending had the fans on edge. This was back and forth between these two friends until a brawl on the floor ended with a discus elbow smash that Cabana ducked causing Danielson to lay out the referee ending his championship quest. The Colony def. Osirian Portal & Suge D in a Lucha Trois Match Any ill will the fans had about the previous two encounters was forgotten after this wild and entertaining match. The speed of the contest was such that was impossible at times to keep track of who was legal and who was not. The Portal and D had the Colony on the ropes several times and that was before the DANCE OFF that had the fans on their feet. The Colony appeared finished but Fire Ant caught Amasis with a leaping kick and then gained the three count (snake eyes!) to give his team the comeback.
Nicole Matthews def. Tessa Blanchard, Hudson Envy & Allysin Kay in a 4-way Pro Wrestling Prime Women’s Title Match qualifier The action was wild in this one and took a violent turn when Matthews attacked Kay outside the ring multiple times with a chair shot. The strategy paid off later in the match. Kay had near falls on Blanchard and had Matthews down with THE CUT THROAT but interference kept the action going until Matthews caught Kay with VANCOUVER MANEUVER and took the victory.
Prime Pro Wrestling Title Tournament Finals
“Unbreakable” Michael Elgin def. Colt Cabana to win the Prime Pro Wrestling Title The fans were solidly behind Cabana and he rose to the occasion controlling much of the early action including the crowd favourite Bionic Elbow and Superman Sequence but the turning point came during a brawl on the floor where Elgin rammed Cabana back first into the ring post. Later, a buckle bomb did more damage to the lower back but Cabana hung in the encounter. Finally, a cavate and knees rendered Cabana unable to defend himself and the referee called for the stoppage. The fans were jeering Elgin as he was presented with the Prime Pro Wrestling Title by David Marquez while Bryan Danielson came back to ringside to check on Cabana who was shaking off the cobwebs.

The star of the last half of the encounter was Danielson who spend several minutes punishing Thatcher including a REGALPLEX and then a vicious assault of strikes leading to a discus elbow smash that dropped Thatcher to the mat but Thatcher draped a leg across the ropes to stay alive. It was not for long as Danielson followed with a running lariat for the three-count. Prime Pro Wrestling Tag Team Title Tournament – Finals The Pillars def. Irish Airborne to win the titles Both teams were spent from the two previous rounds and Airborne went to work on Brent Banks.
