Card 06: Trillium 01, St. Anthony's Banquet Hall, Ottawa
Athena def. Dust Each time it looked like Dust would get something going Athena had the answer and regained control hitting a sidewinder slam and springboard DDT along the way before putting Dust away with O-FACE.
Veda Scott def. Kimber Lee Lee looked to be on the way to a victory when she connected with YOSHI TONIC but Scott continued to impress kicking out at the last second and battling back to take control of the match. Lee survived Q.E.D. but PLEX EXPRESS gave Scott yet another victory moving her closer to a title opportunity.
Su Yung def. Deonna Purrazzo Purrazo had Yung on the defensive but made a critical error when she forced the action to the floor. Yung ran Purrazzo into the ring post shoulder first and Purrazzo never recovered. A rope hung pedigree looked impressive before Yung came off of the top with a cross body deathjump to get the three count. (Snake Eyes!)
Penelope Ford def. Brittany Blake, Hudson Envy & Faye Jackson in a 4-Way Match This was an insane match from start to finish. Everyone had moments in control of the action. Blake took a significant beating several times in the match but managed to connect with BAD OMEN against Envy and later used KILLJOY on Ford but victory was robbed from her by her opponents both times. The finish came when Ford, who had been relatively quiet in the match, caught Blake with a BACK FLIP STUNNER for the three count. Xia Brookside def. Rhia O’Reilly This battle of European competitors unfolded at a quick pace which favoured the smaller Brookside who really took it to O’Reilly and finished her off with back to back BROOKSEY BOMBS, the third and forth of the match. Nicole Matthews def. Tessa Blanchard This was a classic with both women showcasing their skills from the outset of the match in a battle of back and forth momentum and counters. Matthews managed to run Blanchard into the ring post shoulder first mid way through the match but Blanchard kicked out of both VANCOUVER MANEUVERS that followed. The fans wanted this one to go forever but the finish came when Blanchard had a Cobra Clutch Suplex countered into a fallaway slam that was enough to get the pin (snake eyes!)
Team Be Jealous def. Fire & Ice Jessicka Havok showed some surprizing speed when she avoided Britt Baker’s charge to the corner leading to a roll up for a near fall. Havok then crushed Baker with a tombstone piledriver before Allyson Kay tagged in a connected with a discus lariat to Baker for the three count. Chelsea Green never saw any action in the match. Prime Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion Mia Yim def. Kelly Klein by disqualification Both these ladies came to fight and to make short work of each other. Suplexes shook the ring and strikes rocked the fans. Yim unleashed a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER in the opening minutes but Klein just got a shoulder up. Klein got the best of a brawl on the floor and then immediately went for the win with END OF THE MATCH but Yim survived to make the ropes. Yim escaped Klein’s finisher a second time before the action went back to the floor were a Samoan Drop put Yim through a table and lead to the disqualification. The evening ends with champion and challenger down in a heap at ringside. Despite the non finish in the main event, a fun first event for Trillium Women’s Athletics. The women will be back in action for Trillium 02 on August 15th at the London Music Hall in London, Ontario. Until then, watch for the competitors from Trillium on upcoming Prime Pro Wrestling Events!
Top Ten: 1. Mia Yim, Prime Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion 2. Veda Scott 3. Kelly Klein 4. Nicole Matthews 5. Penelope Ford 6. Heidi Lovelace 7. Allyson Kay 8. Hudson Envy 9. Tessa Blanchard 10. Shazza McKenzie

Card 07: Prime Pro Wrestling’s Canada Day Clash, The Germania Club of Hamilton, Hamilton, Ontario
David Marquez welcomes us to Hamilton and wishes everyone a happy Canada Day. Marquez takes a few minutes to update the fans on the status of the Prime Pro Wrestling titles. Marquez confirms that tonight there will be a pair of top contenders matches as “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson will take on “Filthy” Tom Lawlor in the first match up and Davey Boy Smith Jr. will face Colt Cabana in the second. The winner of each of these matches will then square off on July 11th at the London Music Hall to determine the new Prime Pro Wrestling Champion. The Tag Team Titles will be decided the following night on July 12 at The Polish Hall in Oshawa as the Work Horsemen will face the winner of a Colony v. Osirian Portal match on July 11th to determine the new Prime Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Timothy Thatcher def. “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb This was a gritty battle that rocked everyone in attendance. Thatcher sent Cobb shoulder first into the ring post early on in the match and that was his target for the balance of the encounter. Cobb survived two SAKA OTOSHI and a FUJIWARA ARMBAR before sending Thatcher into the post shoulder first and turning the match around. Cobb connected with TOUR OF THE ISLANDS and a moonsault & shooting star press but could not get the win before Thatcher went back to the arm and picked up the submission with another FUJIWARA ARMBAR. Standing ovation for the fans for the sure brutality of this match.
The Colony def. Osirian Portal & “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels in a Trios Match The pace was insane in this one. Fire Ant found himself in some early trouble but avoided defeat after an EGYPTION CONNIPTION and a DEATH GRIP before getting the hot tag to his teammates. The Colony took over from that point and dominated the action with their double and triple teaming. Colony Dropkicks rocked Daniels as did a TKO from Solider Ant. Daniels survived ANTS GO MARCHING and Amasis was rocked by an Ant-apult. The finish came when the Colony caught Daniels with a tandem double stomps and Green Ant made the pin. Daniels was livid after taking the pin having been embarrassed by Green Ant yet again.
Matt Sydal def. TJ Perkins This was fast paced thriller from start to finish. Perkins connected early with a Detonation Kick and would land a second towards the end of the encounter. Sydal’s offence had the fans roaring and Perkins reeling. Perkins kept coming back until finally Sydal used top rope Frankensteiner to set up a SHOOTING SYDAL PRESS for the victory. Handshakes before and after the bell and a standing ovation for the fans.
Rhia O’Reilly def. Kimber Lee This one fizzled after the excitement of the last contest as O’Reilly caught Lee with an early RHIADJUSTMENT and then dominated the balance of the encounter with brawling, stranglehold, neck snaps and leg drops before putting Lee away with a T-bone suplex.
N-Words & def. Monster Mafia by disqualification. Acid Jaz dominates “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander and gives way to B Ryce who nearly ends it with a CURB STOMP. #Allego Ethan Page gets into the match and ends up in a brawl the Ryce on the floor where Page smashes Ryce with a chair earing a disqualification.
Work Horsemen def. The Pillars While Brent Banks and Tyson Dux had moments in control and proved difficult to put away, this one belonged to “The New Age Enforcer” James Drake & Anthony Henry who hit their DOUBLE STOMP MONNSAULT finisher a total of four times in the match before the move finally finished Dux for the three count while Drake made the cover.
Donovan Dijak def. Uhaa Nation A couple of the big men came to fight in this one. Dijak connected almost immediately with The Dijection but Nation kicked out of the cover. Nation struggled to get anything going for some time but then unleashed a flurry leading to a two and half count after an ULTRA COMBINATION. Dijak was rocked but when Nation came off the top with a deathjump cross body, Dijak rolled through and hooked the tights for the three count.
Kris Wolf def. Xia Brookside Wolf was able to set the pace in this one and connected with her finisher early on. Brookside survived but was never able to break through on offense and fell to a second DIVING DOUBLE KNEE.
“Filthy” Tom Lawlor def. “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson The fans were ready for a classic but Lawlor delivered one epic beating in stead. Four times he had Danielson trapped in a REAR NAKED CHOKE and he just kept the ground and pound and suplex attack going and going. The finish came when Lawlor caught Danielson with a Cleveland Steamer ’18 and then landed a MASTER BLASTER for the three count.
Colt Cabana def. Davey Boy Smith. A handshake started the action and after a brief back and forth struggle Cabana took control of this match dominating all aspects of the match. Twice Cabana used Billy Goat’s Curse to weaken Smith. Cabana did not get the win after a COLT .45 but a second one later in the encounter was enough to get the three count.
Booker Notes: There were two significant changes to this card with the departures of Michael Elgin and the Irish Airborne. Elgin was booked as part of a six-man match with the Monster Mafia against he N-Words and Suge D. That was changed to a straight up tag team match. The Airborne were to defend the Tag Team Titles against the makeshift team of Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Colt Cabana (Thanks to a roll on the David Marquez card) but that became Smith v. Cabana in the main event.
Happy Canada Day to everyone and I hope you will check back on the weekend of July 11th and 12th to see who will be the new champions!

Really like how your handling the major title vacancies in your fed - It can be difficult figuring out how to handle real life situations, but you're doing an excellent job... Nice work!

Thank you for the feedback.
Card 08: Prime Pro Wrestling’s Answering the Opportunity Knock Night One, London Music Hall London, ON
David Marquez opens the show with the Prime Pro Wrestling Title in hand and hypes tonight’s main event between Colt Cabana & “Filthy” Tom Lawlor to determine the new Prime Pro Wrestling Champion. Both competitors come out for a verbal showdown and it is clear that the Cabana is the fan favourite as he entertains the sold-out Music Hall.
“Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb def. Matt Tremont. These two were last in the ring at the June “Stacked” event where Tremont not only eliminated Cobb from a Fray Match that night but also smashed him with a headbutt with a light tube in one of the match’s highlights. Cobb was looking for some payback and he came way with the win but not before the two men beat each other in and outside the ring. Tremont set the pace when he attacked Cobb with a fork right at the opening bell. Cobb responded later putting Tremont through a ringside table with a suplex later in the match. The finish came with a moonsault & shooting star press from Cobb. Donovan Dijak def. Tyson Dux. The size advantage of Dijak was too much for Dux tonight as Dijak connected with The Dejection three times during the one-sided beat down before putting away Dux with FEAST YOUR EYES. “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels def. Green Ant Ant has continually frustrated Daniels over the last several Prime Pro Wrestling events but that was not the case tonight. Daniels countered early and executed an ANGEL’S WINGS in the opening two minutes of action but Green just kicked out at the last second. Daniels never looked back. Ant was nearly counted out after chair shot but regained the ring at the count of nine and half. Ant was unable to get any offense going and fell to a second ANGEL’S WINGS. Davey Boy Smith Jr. def. Uhaa Nation Nation was dominate for nearly all of this match but could not put away Smith before Smith was able to bounce Nation’s face off the timekeeper’s table and then execute a Saito Suplex for a two count before ending it with a BULLDOG BOMB to complete an impressive comeback. Kelly Klein def. Chelsea Green, Allysin Kay and Su Yung in a 4-way Match There was plenty of up-close brawling witnessed by the fans tonight as this match hardly stayed between the ropes. Green stood out early on but it was the blood red mist from Yung to Kay that really popped the crowd. Kay struggled from that point and Klein took advantage trapping Kay in END OF THE MATCH for the submission while Green brawled with Yung at the back of the Hall. Brent Banks def. Matt Sydal by count-out The second half of the show opened with a high-speed encounter that was controlled early by Sydal but a well times Alabama Slam from Banks stopped Sydal cold. The ended up ringside a short time later where Banks planted Sydal with an ASAI DDT onto the floor. Banks just barely made it back inside, Sydal did not.
“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson def. Timothy Thatcher These two had a very competitive contest back at Inaugural Brawl Night One that went to the Dragon as part of the Prime Pro Wrestling Title Tournament. Thatcher used his size advantage early on and rocked Danielson with a gut wrench suplex. Danielson wisely regrouped at ringside but Thatcher came out after his opponent. It proved to be a mistake as the exchange on the floor ended with Thatcher going shoulder first into the post. Danielson quickly applied a CROSSFACE CHICKENWING when the action returned to the ring and picked up the submission in surprisingly short order. Osirian Portal def. The Colony A shot at the Prime Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles was on the line as these two teams continued their feud. This one did not last long. It was back and forth with tags until Ophidian caught Fire Ant with a Death Grip. He was then joined by Amasis for an OSIRIAN SACRAMENT. Solider Ant was cut off and the Portal will battle the Work Horsemen tomorrow for the Tag Team Titles. Veda Scott def. Prime Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion Mia Yim by disqualification. Yim was killing Scott in the first half of the match with suplexes and kicks but Scott was able to backdrop Yim to the floor and she landed awkwardly on her leg. Scott took control of the match from that point but could not get Yim in a position to put her away only getting a two count before Yim came back. They went to the floor and Scott decided to use a chair as an equalizer but Yim took the weapon from her challenger and smashes Scott with it. The fans loved it, but the referee did not and disqualified Yim.
Colt Cabana def. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor by count-out to win the Prime Pro Wrestling Title Lawlor impressed early with suplexes but Cabana made a strong comeback with a Bionic Elbow that had the fans cheering. Things went to the floor and Cabana came off the ropes with a moonsault to the floor. Both men were down in a heap and Cabana regained the ring for the count-out victory. David Marquez came to the ring and after a brief conference with the official, Cabana is announced as the new Prime Pro Wresting Champion. Cabana celebrates with the fans while Lawlor loses his mind on the official and Marquez. Controversy continues to follow the Prime Pro Wrestling Title as Colt Cabana has been awarded the Title after a count-out decision. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor was anything but impressed afterwards and told everyone who would listen that awarding a title via count-out is against the by-laws of the Ontario Independent Wrestling Network and that he will be doing everything possible inside and outside of the ring to have the decision changed. In the interim, Lawlor will have his chance to take his frustrations out on the new champion tomorrow night in Oshawa when he and Cabana will part of a special three-way battle that will also involve “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. In addition to that match, the Prime Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship will be determined when Osirian Portal takes on the Work Horsemen plus Prime Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion Mia Yim will take on two of her top challengers in a special non-title attraction against Veda Scott and Kelly Klein.

I loved seeing Colt Cabana take the gold, in what seems like Colt fashion with a count out win leaving "Filthy" Tom Lawlor livid. Good stuff. I agree with on how you handled the title vacancies and like you I am applying the same scrutiny to the roster in my fed. I feel you made a great recovery here and the manner in which Cabana won it leaves room for a heated rematch with Lawlor.
