Card 14: Prime Pro Wrestling – Back to Skool , The Great Hall, Toronto, ON
PB Smooth & “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb def. Killer Kross & Matt Tremont by disqualification. We get off to a violent start as Tremont attacks Cobb with a steel chair before Bobby Cruise even finishes his introductions. Kross and Tremont beat down Cobb and Smooth and leave them in a heap. The official decision is Smooth and Cobb by disqualification despite the bell never ringing to start the match.
Timothy Thatcher def. Uhaa Nation Thatcher was a machine in this one and never allowed Nation to get anything going aside from the opening few minutes. The target was the arm of Nation and Thatcher earned some heat when cracked Nation with a chair to the shoulder during action on the floor. Thatcher continued to stay on Nation and submitted him with a Kimura Lock. Tyson Dux def. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor The struggles of Lawlor continue as he ran into a game Dux tonight. They exchanged strikes and suplexes early before Dux when on an impressive run of offense using nearly every weapon he had in his arsenal including an impressive NORTHERN LARIAT that nearly ended it. Lawlor showed he something left in the tank and battled back including a Cleveland Streamer ’18 but Dux would not be denied and trapped Lawlor in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for back to back submission finishes. Su Yung def. Faye Jackson & Kimber Lee in a 3-Way Match What an incredible battle. These three women battle forever. The match had everything. All three women used their finishers during the action. The referee went down for seven moves midway through the match. There was blood red mist to Kimber Lee. Lee’s pin count was 13 and Yungs was 9 before it was all said and done. Yung used THE PURGE to get the victory over Lee an Jackson was out of it after getting shoved off the top of the corner moments earlier. Green Ant def. “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels in a Loser Leaves Town Toronto Street Fight. They started before Bobby Cruise finished his introductions. Ant took it to the floor and Daniels tasted the ring post. Ant picked up his attack back in the ring with single leg grapevine and then half crab working the back. A suplex onto a ladder rocked the fans and nearly killed Daniels. Ant then locked on a GOOD LUCK CLOVERLEAF and the match was over. Daniels is gone for the balance of the year.
Brothers of Funstruction def. Osirian Portal by disqualification. The fans were not sure what to make of what was about to happen in this one but Ruffo The Clown started by shoving popcorn into the face of Ophidian but it had no impact due to Ophidian’s mask. The following chops sure had an impact and the action was off to the races. They ended up on the floor and Ophidian used a backdrop to send Ruffo through the ringside table. That was enough for the referee to make he disqualification call. Ace Austin def. Brent Banks Great pace to this one to start off. Austin takes control and lands back to back to back BangOramas but cannot get the three count. Austin then hits THE FOLD for the three count.
Twisted Sisters def. Team Be Jealous by disqualification There was some real intensity to this one as both sides managed to make key defensive tags to keep the momentum in flux. Thunder Rosa looked in some trouble but a quick tag to Holidead lead to a leg drop on the apron and two count against Jessicka Havok. Things ended up on the floor with Havok and Rosa tearing it up. Havok took things too far when she slammed the ring steps into Rosa while Allysin Kay and Holidead traded blows in the ring. The referee made the disqualification call and Havok laid out Holidead with a HAVOKKILLER before Team Be Jealous left the ring to a chorus of boos. Donovan Dijak def. “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson This beat down was something to behold. Three times in the opening moments Dijak connected with FEAST YOUR EYES with Danielson kicking out each time. Then came as series of The Djection for good measure. Even when Danielson managed to send Dijak into the ropes, Dijak scored with an inside cradle to nearly take the win. Another FEAST YOUR EYES pushed Danielson’s fatigue to 9 and ended the match.
Soldier Ant def. Colt Cabana to win the Prime Pro Wrestling Title The action started with a handshake and from that point Ant foiled the champion at every turn. Cabana managed to kick out after an early TKO but remained on the defensive both in and out of the ring. Cabana managed to do some damage with a Billy’s Goat Curse but Ant stormed back again. A whip into the corner resulted in a double clothesline. Ant recovered first and never looked back. Cabana kicked out after another TKO but Ant followed immediately with another TKO and is the new champion!
What a night for the Colony with Green Ant closing out his feud with Christopher Daniels with a dominating victory and then Soldier Ant capturing the companies top prize in the main event in a shocking upset. Up next, we head to Ottawa for another night of action featuring a pair of title matches and a Fans Bring The Weapons battle between Jeff Cobb and Matt Tremont.

Card 15: Prime Pro Wrestling – The Fall Brawl, St. Anthony's Banquet Hall, Ottawa
David Marquez welcomes us back to Ottawa for what promises to be amazing night of action including a fans bring the weapons match and a pair of title encounters. Tyson Dux def. Ace Austin Hot opener to kick things off as these two really took the battle to each other from bell to bell. Dux looked to have the match won with a NORTHERN LARIAT but Austin proved difficult to put away. Austin would survive a second NORTH LARIAT late in the match as well in a kick out that brough the fans out of their seats. At one point Austin thought he had the match won with back to back BangOramas but Dux found the strength to make a last second kick-out. They went move for move until late in the match when Dux reversed a whip on the floor and Austin went hard into the post shoulder first. Austin was a touch slower from that point and Dux capitalized getting the submission with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.
Timothy Thatcher def. TJ Perkins Back to back stellar matches tonight as these two went hold for hold for most of the match. Thatcher gained the initial edge but Perkins tossed him off the top of the corner to take over. Back to back FIGURE FOUR DEATHLOCKS did not get the submission. Perkins connected with back to back Detonation Kicks for a huge near fall. Thatcher came back and started working on the limbs of Perkins but Perkins provided he could battle on the mat as well. Soon the power of Thatcher took over and a belly to belly suplex off the ropes set the table for Thatcher to move in and pick up the submission with a FUJIWARA ARMBAR. Su Yung def. Faye Jackson These two were part of the 3-Way match that tore the house down last night. Yung showed no respect for the size advantage of her opponent it nearly cost her as Jackson struck early with not one but two DROP IT LIKE IT HOT finishers. Yung survived, barely, and was able to counter attack back catching Jackson charging into the corner with a knee to the chest and the scoring with knee strike. PANIC SWITCH shook the ring, stunned the fans, and gave Yung the victory. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor def. Brent Banks Another solid encounter had the fans on the edge of their seats. This was a story of two matches. The first half of the encounter was dominated by Banks who could seeming do no wrong. Lawlor kicked out after SLICED BREAD and after an ASAI DDT. Lawlor looked finished but was finally able to ground Banks and went to work with submissions and suplexes. Banks made the ropes to escape a REAR NAKED CHOKE and later kicked out after a MASTER BLASTER. Then things really became intense as Banks battled back. Lawlor managed to get his foot on the rope to stop the three count after an ASAI DDT from Banks. Banks countered a German suplex late and counter with an Alabama Slam. Both men were down and out but Lawlor managed to connect with another MASTER BLASTER earn the three count.
“Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb def. Matt Tremont in a Fans Bring The Weapons Match. Cobb seemed determined to keep this as much as a wrestling match as possible which where he held the advantage over Tremont but action eventually went to the floor. Things became violent at that point as Tremont used a cheese grader to rip open Cobb before he then used a staple gun to punish his opponent. Baking sheets battered Cobb who was a bloodied and battered mess as the action returned to the ring. Tremont was not able to capitalize however and Cobb caught him with a pumphandle fallaway slam which set up TOUR OF THE ISLANDS. Cobb survived a hardcore assault for the comeback win.
Uhaa Nation def. Colt Cabana by disqualification The bar was set high by the first half of the show and this match kicked off the post intermission action. Cabana looked in championship form as former Prime Pro Wrestling Champion nearly ended the match with a COLT .45 and later did some damage with a Billy’s Goat Curse. Nation looked outclassed and took several breaks on the floor. Cabana became frustrated and came out after his opponent and whipped him into the ring steps. The referee called the disqualification. Cabana was clearly upset with the outcome after the bell. Killer Kross def. PB Smooth Smooth came out the aggressor but could not get the three count after CALL THE CORONER. Kross did not stay on the defensive much longer and really took control of the action with an Alabama Slam that shook the ring. Smooth never recovered and Kross eventually put him away with a deathjump cross body block.
“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson def. Donovan Dijak Last night, Dijak beat Danielson to within an inch of his life so fans were concerned how much Danielson would have left in the tank to battle his much larger foe again tonight. They had nothing to be worried about. Danielson was a machine tonight and battered Dijak from bell to bell. Dijak attempted to escape to the floor to Danielson followed him with a dive to the floor that lead to a near count out. The finish came when Danielson connected with a dragon suplex for the three count.
Veda Scott def. Trillium Champion Mia Vim to win the title. The match was very closely contested until the referee went down for seven moves after a deathjump from Yim. With the official down, Scott had Yim beat three times, including after a Q.E.D. and PLEX EXPRESS. The official recovered just in time to see Scott small package Yim for a near fall. Yim battled back and picked a two count of her own with a 450 Splash. Veda regained the control of the match and hit Q.E.D. for the win. Scott is now a two time Trillium Champion!
Osirian Portal def. Prime Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions Work Horsemen to win the titles. Back to back title changes to close out what might be the card of the year. The size of “The New Age Enforcer” James Drake gave the champions the advantage but Ophidian shocked ringside with an Egyptian Destroyer that took out Drake. Anthony Henry entered the fray and took control but a couple of quick tags from the Portal and Henry was in trouble. OSIRIAN SCARAMENT lead to a two count and Ophidian did further damage with a Death Grip. Henry was remained in the ring and the finish came from a seemingly harmless reverse rolling prawn hold.
