TRADITION #THIRTY-SIX JANUARY 2011 THE FUTURE IS NOW..... ALEX KOSLOV (Nikolai Volkoff in his corner) vs. TIM DONST (Chikara LE Card) "The first match officially for the new year for Tradition pit two young stars looking to really cement themselves in Tradition for years to come. Donst feeling like he needs to redeem himself after a first round exit from the sweet science 16 tournament but it was Koslov whom had the early advantage with Volkoff looking on very pleased.
Koslov however despite connecting with his Red Scare II could not put the determined Donst who eventually got the upper hand with his STO when Volkoff came into the ring and left Donst laying until DEL WILKES came out of nowhere stormed the ring to fend of the two Russians" TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH MIDWEST TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: GODFATHERS OF WRESTLING (Giant Baba & Antonio Inoki) vs. DAN SEVERN & FRANK GOTCH "A match that was demanded by Gotch and Severn and they gave everything and then some to the tag champions from the rising sun, Frank Gotch really was the star of this match taking down Baba with ease at times and going hold for hold with Inoki which included a nasty reversal into a rolling knee bar...Severn and Baba blooded got Gotch after each other with stiff shots back and fourth throughout the match.
In the end it was Inoki who caught Gotch after Severn bumped into his partner after getting smashed in the face with a big boot by Baba, Inoki then got Gotch who was out of sorts right into his OCTOPUS HOLD Submission, Bba then tossed Severn hard out of the ring as Gotch had no choice but to tap!" * A SHOCKING TURN OF EVENTS AFTER THE MATCH AS SEVERN RECOVERED AND WENT TO HELP UP GOTCH, FRANK REFUSED THE ASSIST AND ATTACKED SEVERN FROM BEHIND AND DELEVERED A VICIOUS ROLLING KNEE BAR THAT WE WOULD FIND OUT LATER DO MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE KNEE AND LEG TO SEVERN...GOTCH THEN GOT UP AND LOOKED DOWN AT SEVERN WITH JUST PURE HATRED IN HIS EYES AS HE LEFT THE RING AS EMT'S RUSHED TO RINGSIDE TO ASSIST SEVERN WHICH TOOK SEVERAL MOMENTS TO SAFELY ESCORT HIM OUT OF THE BUILDING* MIDWEST CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH (C) RIKIDOZAN vs "THE BRITISH BULLDOG" DAVEY BOY SMITH w/ Davey Boy Smith Jr. in his corner "What a moment for Davey Boy Smith as his son accompanied him to ringside and the 2010 World Cup of Wrestling Tournament winner took it early and often to the champion, Smith's power advantage was evident iver Rikidozan as he press slamed and shoulder blocked and clotheslined Rikidozan all over the ring, for a short time in the match Rikidozan did have the advantage as he took the bulldog to the mat after a nasty pilediver dropping Smith right on his head for a NEAR fall.
Bulldog would struggle and a short time later looked as though he would tap do to the boston crab submission but he was able to escape the hold as his son continued to cheer him on from ringside. Davey would get to his feet and the two gladiators would trade vicious chops in the center of the ring which the bulldog would get the advantage putting Rikidozan in the corner and smashing him with a clothesline in the corner setting him up for his RUNNING POWERSLAM Finisher however.....
Davey would get distracted as FRANK GOTCH would make his way down to ringside and attack Smith Jr from behind and deliver another rolling knee bar! Jr. would scream in pain as wrestlers and officials from the back would come running down to ring side Gotch fleed out threw the crowd as the Bulldog was going out of the ring to check on his son but got blindsided by Rikidozan with a knee strike to the head in between the ropes which set up another vicious piledriver which gave the champion the victory! In the meantime Davey Boy Smith Jr. was stretchered out of the building to end the show."

- A very special announcement will be made at #Thirty-Seven involving a women's Tournament coming to Tradition in May of 2011
- A lot of talent that has been apart of Tradition over the past 2 years plus on a regular basis have decided to step away from the company do to what transpired during the cage match involving the horrific injury sustained by Danny Doring, Tradition understands and will respect the decisions of each individual, again the promotion wishes nothing but the best in the recovery for Mr. Doring and hope the departed talent will eventually reappear in a Tradition ring sometime down the line
- A Tag Team Match has been signed for #Thirty-Seven as Tim Donst and Del Wilkes face off against From Russia with Love (Nikolai Volkoff & Alex Koslov)
- The Sweet Science 16 Tournament winner; Mr. Saito will go up against Magnum T.A. in the main event of #Thirty-Seven

TRADITION #THIRTY-SEVEN FEBRUARY 2011 CHRIS CANDIDO vs. BILLY RAY DANIELS (Homemade bootleg of a local wrestler in Michigan as part of Capital Pro Wrestling-play test 1)
"The young brash Daniels turned his back on Candido as the bell sounded to begin the match in a show of disrespect and he payed for it via an enzuigiri followed up by a picture perfect vertical suplex planting him down square in the middle of the ring might have Billy think twice about trying to show up your opponent, live and learn. All was not lost for the young "Redneck Rockstar" as he caught Candido coming off the ropes via a running knee strike to the face! With the number one contender for the Midwest Tag Team Championship along with King Kong Bundy down in the center of the ring Billy went to the top rope and came off via a death jump but MISSED a knee smash!
This gave Candido the opening that he needed to put the young up and comer away via a diving headbutt for the 3 count and victory. That was not enough as King Kong Bundy came down to the ring and delivered his AVALANCHE splash in the corner to Billy Ray not once but twice!! Finally officials came running into the ring as Bundy & Candidoleft the ring and out of the building." TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH DEL WILKES & TIM DONST vs FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (Nikolai Volkoff & Alex Koslov) "A very competitive match that saw a lot of action in and out of the ring! Donst took out Volkoff vio a STO right on the floor outside the ring as Koslov was able to barely kick out of a Del Wilkes power slam for the match to continue!
Alex went to the eyes to stop the momentum of his opponent and then flew threw the ropes with a dive onto Donst both crashing hard on the floor! Volkoff recovered somewhat after the STO and he and Wilkes went toe to toe in the center of the ring going back and fourth with chops and hay makers...until Koslov from behind connected with a knee strike to the back of the head which looked like it would lead to a bear hug by Volkoff BUT...
Before the big man could fully apply it Donst came up from behind and rolled Nikolai up for the officials 3 count!" LINDA WALSH MEMORIAL SINGLE ELIMINATION WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT IS SET TO DEBUT IN MAY OF 2011 "This is in honor of my mother, Linda Walsh who passed away in 2011, thought this would be a great way to start to see more women matches in the promotion. It will be a multi day event throughout the month of May (her birthday month) and it will be a 16 women single elimination Tournament, which will be a yearly event. Stay tuned for the announcement of participants and opening round matches very soon!" MAGNUM T.A. vs MR. SAITO ( 2010 Sweet Science 16 Tournament winner) "It should be noted that the other members of the GODFATNERS OF JAPAN WRESTLING made their way to ringside during this match, and what a match it was the fans were fully behind Magnum as he took to the Japan legend right out of the gate, with a terrific running forearm shot that looked to put Saito out on his feet which seemed to set up T.A. for his BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX Finisher.
However Saito avoided the move and out of nowhere connected with a brutal chop which led to a judo throw to perfection! Saito then applied his SCORPION LEG LOCK Finisher! Magnum refused to quit as he crawling and scratching his way to the ropes with the crowd urging him on....Giant Baba for a moment however just as Magnum was going to reach the ropes pulled it back! that is until.....
THE ROCK & ROLL EXPRESS make there return to TRADITION as they come storming down to ringside with steel chair in hand to somewhat even the odds for their friend to the delight of the crowd!
Magnum reached the ropes and gopt the hold broken and connected with a right jab and a atomic drop which led to his BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX Finisher that everyone thought was it BUT Saito kicked out right before three! T.A. quickly came off the ropes looking for another forearm BUT instead got caught with a thrust punch to the heart when suddenly the bell sounded as the time expired on the match...the rest of the GODFATHERS entered the ring as well as the Rock & Roll Express and a stand off in the middle of the ring ended the show!" -END

TRADITION #THIRTY-EIGHT MARCH 2011 ROCK & ROLL EXPRESS vs. GODFATHERS OF JAPAN WRESTLING (Midwest Champion; Rikidozan & Mr. Saito)
"A hotly contested bout that saw several near falls for both but in the end to the delight of the fans it was Ricky and Robert getting the huge win as Robert made the pin on Saito after their DOUBLE DROPKICK Finisher AND Magnum T.A. distracting the Midwest Champion before he could attempt to make the pin save." FRANK GOTCH COMES DOWN TO THE RING AND GETS HANDED A MICROPHONE..... "Thank you for your time and attention, ladies and gentlemen. I am sure many are wondering about my recent actions involving a few individuals which I would like to address, first Dan Severn..I..... SUDDENLY DAVEY BOY SMITH CAME STORMING TO THE RING FROM THE BACK WITH A STEEL CHAIR...WHICH HE SMASHED GOTCH WITH SENDING FRANK OUT OF THE RING...SMITH TOOK THE MICROPHONE..... "I don't give a crap what you have to say...you attacked and injured my son like a coward...you can talk about Dan Severn all you want...don't you dare utter my son's name out of your mouth EVER again! I don't care about the why....I do care about putting you down in the middle of the ring permanently!" SECURITY CAME DOWN AND ESCORTED SMITH OUT OF THE RING AND THE BUILDING AND AS SOON AS IT WAS CLEAR GOTCH GOT BACK IN THE RING AND DECLARED THAT THE TRADITION RING WAS HIS.....WHEN SUDDENLY THE YOUNGSTER BILLY RAY DANIELS MADE HIS WAY INTO THE RING!FRANK GOTCH vs. BILLY RAY DANIELS "A bold move by the young independent wrestler especially coming in with heavily taped ribs do to the attack on him by King Kong Bundy during the last show. Gotch just smirked at his opponent and easily taking him down on several occasions. Daniels knew he was getting mocked and eventually had enough and caught Gotch with a knee strike followed up with a curb stomp for a pin attempt to the cheering of the fans.
In the end however to much of the veteran Gotch as he made the youngster tap to his TOEHOLD Finisher." MIDWEST TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH (C) GODFATHER'S OF JAPAN WRESTLING (Giant Baaba & Antonio Inoki) vs. CHRIS CANDIDO & KING KONG BUNDY "The fans were solidly behind Candido and Bundy and how could you not be after the war between them and Missing Link and Ox Baker and the New Jersey duo most certainly used the crowd's energy to take it right to the champions BUT the legends from the rising sun would end up getting the win after Baba took Candido's head off with a big boot. The three count followed thanks to Inoki cutting down Bundy with a chop block before the big man could attempt to make the pin save to end the show." Just a quick note, I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I wanted to say thank you for everyone who takes time and reads my posts it is greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to continuing to bring you the best Tradition events I can. Those who know my writing style might have noticed less detail in this write up, I feel as much as I battle figuring out what is to much and to little when it comes to these, moving forward I am going to try the less as more approach for a number of reasons.
I hope this dosn't sway you away from Tradition, again thank you for taking interest and as always keep the dice rolling.

TRADITION #THIRTY-NINE APRIL 2011 DEL WILKES & TIM DONST stand in the middle of the ring as chants of USA echo through out Crunchy's Bar in East Lansing but the mood quickly changed as EDDIE KINGSTON & HOMICIDE storm into the ring! Kingston grabs the microphone and declares...We all know how great this country is..we don't need you two to remind us....but to show how thankful we are to this country my partner Homicide are going to give you a good old fashioned American ass whipping and with that the match was on.......
Kingston and Homicide took control early on and their surprise appearance really took Wilkes off guard but his young partner fought very well but in the end took a nasty piledriver by Homicide! After the third consecutive BACK FIST FROM THE FUTURE Finisher Kingston pinned Wilkes for the three count and victory! Kingston grabbed the microphone again after the victory and declared that the OUTLAWZ are here to stay! As the two were leaving the ring Donst slowly got to his feet to the cheers of the crowd and wanted to go after the Outlawz but was actually held back by the medical staff, Homicide laughed hardily at him as Kingston stayed silent" BILL APTER "Welcomes everybody to this special contract signing for one of the premiere matches at Tradition's 2nd Anniversary Show and with that he introduces the 2010 World Cup of Wrestling Tournament Champion; Davey Boy Smith (who was seconded by the surprise by many his son Davey Boy Smith Jr. who was on crutches thanks to the man that Mr. Apter introduced next Frank Gotch.
Both men at opposite ends of the table with security surrounding the ring, you could cut the tension with a knife both men said nothing but stared a hole in one another as they signed the contract, the only note worthy incident if you want to call it that is Gotch did look over at Davey Boy Smith with a sly smile and a wink...that brought two members of the seurity force to enter the ring but nothing escalated as everyone left the ring contract signed for the one on one match in June!"4-WAY ELIMINATION MATCH KONNAN vs. JIMMY RAVE vs. MAGNUM T.A. vs. JIM LONOOS ORDER OF ELIMINATION KONNAN pinned JIMMY RAVE (Rave was a bloody mess after smashing head first into the steel post after missing a splash on Konnan but he most certainly showed just how tough he is staying alive in the match several minutes after that until Konnan but him down for good via the NIAGARA DRIVER Finisher! "Several moments later Jim Londos got the best of his rival from Mexico getting the best of the masked Lucha legend thanks to a simple roll up from the corner buckle that caught everyone by surprise" "As it came down to the final two, what a contest between Londos and Magnum the two battled back and fourth for an editional 15 minutes before T.A. got what maybe considered his hardest fought victory in his young Tradition career thanks to his BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX Finisher for the second time during the match!....Londos comes up short but shakes Magnum's hand in a show of respect as he leaves the ring. The show ends with the crowd chants for Magnum as he motions for the Midwest Championship around his waist!"

THE LINDA WALSH MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
OPENING ROUND RESULTS BRACKET A Nikki Roxx vs. Jazz "A bit of tension between these two ladies to start with as Roxx quickly busted Jazz open thanks to slamming her right into the steel post with no repercussions from the official but in the end that might have been the down fall of Nikki as Jazz not only would with stand the onslaught but the site of her own blood released some heavy hits to her opponent and would eventually advance thanks to dropping Nikki in the center of the ring with a fisherman's buster! " *Redd Dog would come out from the back to help Jazz to the back as blood continued to pour from her head
Nichole Matthews vs. Beverly Shade "For those who were not familiar with Sade, knew her after this match because she owned this match throughout taking down Matthews with several submissions and came real close to making 1/2 of the Canadian Ninjas tap via an Indian Death Lock but just before Nichole would reach the ropes for the break...the ref would separate Shade when Mathews tag team partner Portia Perez would come out and drag Shade out of the ring and a brawl between the two would break out with Shade taking Perez down after a nasty chop block on her left knee...and as she got back into the ring and out of nowhere Matthews connected with her super kick to get the hard earned win!"
BRACKET B Portia Perez vs. Toni Rose " A very competitive match that took a very unfortunate turn as Portia Perez seemed to seriously injure her knee thanks a knee strike although her getting clipped in the knee by Shade in the last match probably did not help Portia in this match, and before Toni could capitalize the official quickly called for the bell and held up the X signal to the back. Medical staff came rushing into the ring and after a bit they carried Perez to the back for further evaluation."
Melina vs. Sherri Martel "Two legends of the squared circle and no question the most anticipated 1st round match of the Tournament and these ladies did not disappoint with the match almost going the full 15 minute time limit draw with no one getting a clear offensive advantage until at 12:40 mark (real time) Melina connected with a perfect sunset flip back breaker who got her the 3 count right before Sherri got her hand on the rope."
STAY TUNED FOR SEMI-FINAL AND FINAL RESULTS COMING VERY SOON!
