Thanks for all the great replies!
I'm a "stats" kind of person, so I would have liked to see their ratings for each wrestler, and what their criteria was. Stuff like "size of fanbase", the "pop" they receive in-ring, "scientific ability" (I'm sure that WASN'T a factor haha), "ability to wrestle against all styles", "charisma", "work on the mic", "believability (sp?) in storylines", "ability to weave a good match in-ring", etc.
For singles wrestlers, everyone is going to probably have a different person on top. You could say Stone Cold at #1 was a good choice especially during the Attitude era. Andre had been undefeated for how many years, and is a good candidate for #1. You do realize if he didn't want to lose a match, he wasn't going to.
Tag Teams might be a different story though. LoD might be #1 on a lot of lists (certainly mine). You could say the Steiners, Bulldogs, Hart Foundation, Wild Samoans, etc, could be #1, depending on who you ask.
Jericho, Piper, and Punk would not make MY top 30. Michaels wouldn't be that high up. Harley Race would make my list because he could execute moves with PERFECTION. Flair would be at my #1 spot even though I never really followed him. Flair would make anyone look good, wrestle 300 nights a year for a full hour each time, so I do respect the effort he gave.
I am surprised that Barry Windham and Randy Orton are not on their list. Both guys are absolute naturals, and have held several MAJOR Belts along the way.
Just my opinion...
