The NWA presents the Ladies classic cup 2020

The NWA is pleased to announce the 19th Annual Ladies classic cup. Preparations have been made for months dealing with Stardom and individual NWA Promotions as to which ladies will be invited to participate. This year’s tournament will feature the largest number of competitors an impressive 128 ladies in a single elimination multi night tournament. Night 1 is scheduled to take place Tuesday June 16th 2020.

Back history this tournament has been going on since I was in high school as a way to kick off my summer vacation. It takes place exactly one week after the last day of school. (I still use that setting for date because I never left my high school just transitioned from student to teacher). Originally a one day tournament consisting of 16 ladies it has grown to the multi day spectacular it is today.

In the days leading up to the opening night ceremony and night one of first round matches interviews from some of the superstars selected will be taking place. First round brackets will be posted soon.

LOL no Ty, I teach at the same high school I graduated from. However sometimes I think the kids teach me as much as I teach them. only different content I teach them history and career exploration they teach me new slang, tick tock and new dances lol

RR" thank you and yes the NWA office has informed me that there are some changes that are occurring this year. one change is that champions from different promotions will be eligible to compete in this years tournament with the winner being able to have the option of competing for another women's title in a different promotion and Past winners will be invited to compete as well. so with that being said last year against all odds I went through 63 other ladies. all star competition like Sherri Martel, Sable, Leilani Kai and many more to capture the Cup and then go on to win the womens championship I decided to go for. so I am gonna go all the way again.....but I'm not here to talk myself up I prefer to let my matches speak for me. now for my last announcement I have the opening night matches that will be happening June 16th 2020 so with out further interruptions first night matches will include .....

NWA Ladies Classic cup 2020 Opening night Round 1 matches

Grace Slick's Dreams played over the sound system and out came all 128 ladies wearing a red and black sequined robe with matching feathers that had Ladies Classic 2020 in rhinestones and their names accross the back once all of the ladies were around the ring and the music stopped None other then Billy Wolf made his way to the ring and stepped into the center.
" hello Ladies and all of you fans in attendance and watching at home first I would like to thank all of our boradcasters for broadcasting for everyone at home we have ESPN covering us on Cable television we have the WWE network streaming us on smart tvs and over the internet we are also being streamed on Stardom world and through Facebook live as well as consequent youtube channels. I would like to thank all of the performers here before you you have 128 yes thats right 128 beautiful ladies that will do battle for your entertainment throughout the next few days and 1 single lady will reign supreme as the top Lady wrestler in the world. we have champions many different promotions gathered here as well as the top female wrestling talent available the winner will receive the Ladies Classic cup for 2020 (the camera cuts to a trophy over 6 feet tall encrusted with Gemstones) 500 thousand dollars and their picture hung in the Ladies wing of the NWA Office. to me thats not to shaby a pay day. the ladies came to the ring to Ms. Grace Slicks song Dreams. that serves as a message to all of our little girl fans you can do anything you put your mind to these ladies were once in your shoes and they did it so can you.now if everyone would rise last years winner Rocking Robin who will be competing here will be singing our national anthem> (robin came to the ring and sang the anthem) thank you Rocking Robin you may all be seated and lets start the show" billy left the ring and all the ladies went to the back

Big Mami VS Brittany Blake- Blake hit Bad Omen on Big Mami to get the win

Ida Mae Martinez VS Kelly Klein- Klein was favored in this match but Martinez wouldnt be sropped she hit back to back drop kicks to get the pin

Ivory VS Bertha Faye- Ivory hit a top rope ax handle on faye which set her up for her face buster

Tomoka Nakagawa VS Taylor Made- this was a impressive match with Tomoka getting the pin

Mad Maxine VS Christina Von EErie-Great match Maxine hit her Double choke lift on the outside and threw Errie on the ground hard then not wanting to win by a count out threw her back into the ring and hit the move again and pinned her very arrogantly

Scarlett VS Kay Lee Ray-Scarlett hit her Scarlett twist on Ray to advance

Samantha Heights VS Mary Elizabeth Monroe-the bearded lady fell to the Diamond Dust

Leilani Kai VS Melanie Cruise- Kai got the win following a big scoop slam

Bull Nakano VS Ember Moon-Bull and Ember had the match of the night both were going toe to toe then Bull threw Ember to the floor and hit a pile driver she then climbed to the top rope and delivered a sommersault guillotine leg drop to moon who was laying on the arena floor Nanako managed to get back into the ring winning by count out.this goes to show our athletes will put their body on the line to win this prestigious tournament
