So, did I hear the next Legends set was due in September? Does that mean there will not be a Christmas set? Also, what theme do you expect and/or want? I wouldn't mind a WWF set. I wouldn't be apposed to a Vintage set. Actually, I would prefer that. Oh, let's get Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill soon! Please!? Let's discuss, friends. Can the theme gimmick continue? Do you want to move away from it? What themes could you see? Who do you think is signed? This will at least partially depend on new signings but I think we all recognize that there are plenty of current signings to make a '80s WWF style set, though there may be some that were released in the past that can not currently be re-released. I think another Tag Team set would be fairly easy at some point. We still haven't seen color cards for Doring & Roadkill, Samu & Alofa, The Love Brothers, The Tolos Brothers, The Fabulous Kangaroos, PG-13, the Mongols, etc. You could even include Fuji & Saito in there or Masked Superstar II if you needed to round out the lineup. Obviously adding a new tag team or 2 would really make this set pop. I think more broad themes like vintage or international could be fairly easy to do as well, pending contract situations being in order from past releases. Maybe a Junior Heavyweight / cruiserweight type set featuring guys like: Danny Hodge, Super Crazy, etc. I think the themed sets can go for a while still. I'm sure there will come a point where they don't make sense anymore and we can go back to random collections of whoever is signed.

I’d really like Don Muraco (& Mr.Fuji too of course). Don’t care what kind of set we get him in if a WWF set isn’t gonna happen.

Damn, I didn't expect to spawn 2 pages of fond memories with an off hand comment... very cool! I had a pretty good amount of the AWA guys... definitely the Road Warriors, the Long Riders, the High Flyers, Flair, Abby, and Martel. I think that's about it... my dad bought Flair for sure (he was a big fan)... I thought I focused on the tag teams because I liked that they matched.
It's amazing when you think about those guys, that had just arms and legs that move, when you look that the upcoming AEW guys, and they have like 20+ points of articulation... definitely a different target audience!

I recently started re-collecting the old AWA Remco figures and ring. Had them as a kid and so happy to be able to display them now. As for the new set, I'm interested to see what new names they have but I'd love to get Tommy Rich and Tony Atlas in color among others. Perhaps the Kangaroos too. They've always been good in my tag division. You should post a few pictures some time if you have a display. The old figures may not have had as much articulation but I bet they were more fun to play with.

Picked up a ring in last summer too. It's been fun tracking them down.

It was missing a ring post but I made a replacement with some wooden dowels. They really were a classic line.
