Love that you’ve got regional feds going on now this is Golden State Wrestling. Am guessing GSW is still considered the biggest. Do you plan to have champions of each territory face each other in the future and have an overall World champion or keep them separate? Or maybe the GSW champion tour the other feds from time to time? Thanks for checking it out. GSW is the biggest but Memphis and Portland are in the same universe. I defiantly plan to have big combined cards, a tag tournament is definitely on the bill. And, yeah, I’m considering a traveling champion (and tag champions) as an excuse to use a few cards that aren’t in the other feds.

Card 129 Prime Time Wrestling featuring matches from The Cow Palace, San Francisco.
Iron Sheik used the Loaded Boot to take down George ‘The Animal’ Steele (w/ Captain Lou Albano). Many fans and Captain Lou Albano were upset that referee Dick Woehrle missed the rule breaking. ★★
The Spoiler attacked Nacho Barrera before Gary Michael Cappetta could even finish his introductions. Barrera fought back and had some great moments of offense that had the crowd behind him but when Spoiler locked in the BIONIC CLAW it was all over. ★★
In a pre-taped interview, The Outlaws promised they were going to beat The British Bulldogs once and for all the next time they met.
In a brief match, The Dream Team beat the team of Johnny Rodz & George South via DQ when South slammed Beefcake on the announce table at ringside. DUD
After the bell, Valentine and Beefcake, along with Johnny V, beat down Rodz and South until security could break it up.
Before our next match, Randy Savage said in a pre-taped interview he’ll play by Bobby Heenan’s rule by beating Harley Race in a non-title match tonight, but he warns that Heenan will find himself in a world of trouble is he interferes.
Tully Blanchard used a Foreign Object slipped to him by Bobby Heenan to beat Sam Houston The fans hated Thais result. ★★
Non-Title Match Randy Savage used a foreign object, that Bobby Heenan had try to slip to Race, to beat Harley Race via pinfall. ★★★

The Moondogs bested The Killer Bees in an incredible match when Moondog Rex covered B. Brian Blair after a ax-handle off the turnbuckle. ★★★
Tully Blanchard (w/ Bobby Heenan) took little time to completely obliterate Sam Houston in a Hardcore Texas Death Match. It ended after Blanchard hit a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX on a chair. Houston was outmatched here. ★★
The Outlaws retained the Western Tag Team Championship against The British Bulldogs when Blackjack Mulligan smashed Davey Boy Smith with a boot to the face. In this No DQ/No Countout match, Mulligan caught Smith unawares and got a quick pin. Captain Lou Albano complained that the ref Dick Woehrle counted too fast, but the decision stands. ★★
In the Main Event, Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage beat King Harley Race via DQ when Race smashed Savage in the face with the Western Heavyweight Championship. No one was allowed at ringside and this was a fantastic back and forth but Race got frustrated with not being able to take down Savage and resorted to dirty tactics to retain the title. James Beard let a lot slide but something so blatant as what Race did couldn’t stand. The fans were not happy. ★★★★

Card 131 – Wrestling Superstars from Golden State Studios, Burbank, CA
Nikolai Volkoff used the BACKBREAKER DROP to beat his partner Boris Zhukov in a quick match. SQUASH
After the bell, The Moondogs charged the ring and started beating on The Bolsheviks and all four men battled to the back!
Johnny Rodz & George South pick up an incredible victory over The Dream Team when Johnny Rodz pins Greg Valentine with a surprise roll up! Johnny Valiant was fuming at ringside. ★★
The fans go nuts as Rodz and South frustrate Valentine and Beefcake!
Gordon Solie Interviews Rowdy Roddy Piper w/ Cowboy Bob Orton about Mr. Perfect
During the interview Mr. Perfect and Booby Heenan come to the interview area. Perfect throws his towel into Piper’s face and so Piper challenges him to a Loser Throws In the Towel match.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan retains the GSW Television Championship in a wild match against Tully Blanchard with the FLYING SPEAR! Bobby Heenan stormed the ring at one point and was sent out over the top rope! Blanchard used every dirty trick he could think of, but Duggan retains to the cheering of his fans! ★★★

GSW Card #132 – Prime Time Wrestling featuring matches from The Cow Palace, San Francisco, CA
Johnny Rodz picked up a DQ victory over Iron Sheik after Sheik slamed him onto the announce table. ★
Gordon Solie promoted the big card coming up at the end of the month featuring a rematch for the Western Heavyweight Championship between Harley Race and Randy Savage. Stipulations to come.
Lanny Poffo came to the ring and recited the following: The Spoiler is staring across from me, With a sour look on his face. But I have to admit he’s mighty, Perhaps the toughest guy in this place. But I’m going to fight him hard As much as my strength and might’ll. Maybe if Spoiler had fought Jim Duggan that way He’d still have the TV Title.
The Spoiler attacked Poffo before Gary Michael Cappetta could finish the introductions and the two battled back and forth until the bell rang.
The Spoiler put Leaping Lanny Poffo away with the BIONIC CLAW in a quick match. Poffo had some offense at the start but once Spoiler took over, all was said and done. ★
After the break, Gordon Solie interviewed Hacksaw Jim Duggan about GSW Television Championship and Don Muraco interrupted with Mr. Fuji and challenged Duggan for the title. Duggan agrees!
Cowboy Bob Orton used the SUPERPLEX to put away George ‘The Animal’ Steele in a hard fought match! Captain Lou Albano was ejected during the match for interfering and Rowdy Roddy Piper got involved at one point as well. ★★
In an absolutely incredible Main Event match, The British Bulldogs were able to best The Powers of Pain when Dynamite Kid covered The Warlord after a DIVING HEAD BUTT. This one blew the roof off of the arena! Amazing back and forth by two incredible teams. Captain Lou Albano and Mr. Fuji both interfered at various points. The British Bulldogs should be incredibly proud of this win and The Powers of Pain should feel no shame in losing! ★★★★

GSW Card 133 from Golden State Studios, Burbank, CA on January 20, 1980
The Powers of Pain had a ton of trouble but were finally able to get a win over The Mulkey Brothers when The Barbarian caught Randy Mulkey with a press slam. Mr. Fuji was not too pleased with the performance of his two men in this match. The debuting Mulkeys were getting cheers by the time the bell sounded. An auspicious debut. ★★
Magnificent Muraco put Nacho Barrera away with the Asiatic Spike. Mr. Fuji was much happier with how this match went. ★
After the match Magnificent Muraco told Gordon Solie, “Very soon, Hacksaw Jim Duggan will get what’s coming to him and that TV title will be mine!”
Gordon Solie welcomed Tully Blanchard to the show along with his manager Bobby Heenan. Blanchard was bragging with how easily he’d beaten Sam Houston in their feud and Solie reminded him that it wasn’t TAHT easy as Houston had scored a few wins during their battle. This enraged Blanchard who grabbed Solie and was about to level him when Leaping Lanny Poffo rushed out to save the beleaguered announcer. Poffo and Blanchard brawled to the back.
In the Main Event, The Dream Team got revenge on the team of Johnny Rodz & George South when Greg Valentine locked Johnny Rodz in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and made him submit. Rodz and South used quick tags to keep the momentum in their favorite, but Beefcake and Valentine used some underhanded tactics to put an end to that. Lucious Johnny V berated Rodz and South as Valentine and Beefcake celebrated. ★★

GSW Card 134 Main Event Wrestling, The Cow Palace, San Francisco, CA. January 26, 1980
The Powers of Pain pulled off a quick, some would say upset, win over The British Bulldogs when The Barbarian surprised Davey Boy Smith with a sunset flip - ★ - A super quick finish to this one and Mr. Fuji celebrated a big win, demanding a shot at whichever team wins the title match tonight.
Tully Blanchard easily handled Leaping Lanny Poffo in a Grudge Match, beating him with the SLINGSHOT SUPLEX - ★★ - After the match, King Kong Bundy stormed the ring and together he and Blanchard beat Poffo until referees intervened. Poffo was taken from the ring on a stretcher, injured for 2 cards.
The Moondogs beat The Bolsheviks in a wild Grudge Match when Moondog Spot covered Nikolai Volkoff after the MOONDOG SPLASH - ★★ - Despite their wild nature, the Moondogs worked like a well oiled team in this one! Big win for Spot and Rex.
Rowdy Roddy Piper beat Mr. Perfect when Bobby Heenan threw in the towel in a Loser Throws In The Towel Match with Loser Leaves Town stipulations - ★★★★ - Piper dominated this one! A brutal knee lift was what finally got Heenan to throw int he towel. After the match, Perfect was irate at Heenan! Perfect is gone for 6 Months! To the crowd’s delight, Perfect decked Heenan before he left!
The Outlaws retained the Western Tag Team Championship in a decisive win over The Dream Team when Barry Windham covered Brutus Beefcake after a LARIAT - ★★★ - Great match here and The Outlaws proved why they are the champs.
King Harley Race retained the Western Heavyweight Championship against Randy Savage, beating him with a PILEDRIVER in a Main Event where no one was allowed at ringside - ★★★★ - Race puts an end to Savage’s dreams of recapturing the gold in a dominating fashion. The referee for this event was James Beard.

Card 135 - Wrestling Superstars from Golden State Studios, Burbank, CA - February 2, 1980
The Moondogs beat The Mulkey Brothers when Moondog Spot covered Randy Mulkey after the MOONDOG SPLASH - ★ - The Mulkeys put up a heck of a fight but they just couldn't gain any traction against the unpredictable Moondogs.
Cowboy Bob Orton w/ Rowdy Roddy Piper used a SUPERPLEX to crush Johnny Rodz - SQUASH - Rodz put up no offense. Piper just sat back and laughed as he watched Orton work.
Iron Sheik used a kick to the head and quick roll up to beat George 'The Animal' Steele w/ Captain Lou Albano - SQUASH - Iron Sheik started the match by spitting on Steele. Steel charged, and Sheik side stepped him and tossed him into the ropes. One kick later it was all over. After the match Iron Sheik vowed to win the Western Heavyweight Championship again.
Gordon Solie welcomed The Powers of Pain and Mr. Fuji who came out and said they deserved a shot at the Western Tag Team Championship. Solie informed them that Commissioner Patrick said he'd grant a Non-Title match and if they one that they'd get the title shot. Fuji was not happy.
In the Main Event, for the GSW Television Championship, Hacksaw Jim Duggan beat Magnificent Muraco w/ Mr. Fuji via DQ when Muraco slammed Duggan with a chair - ★★½ - This was a great match until it devolved into an all out brawl. The two brawled as the show went off the air!

Cool card. I literally just watched your booking video and you pondering this card. Then straight away see the results! Good to hear the Mulkeys put up a fight and didn’t get totally squashed. I think Iron Sheik could be a real threat to the Heavyweight title
