 Necro Butcher Diagnosed With Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Dylan Summers (a.k.a. Necro Butcher) announced on social media that he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He had multiple biopsies and tests to confirm the news. Necro Butcher will have 6-8 cycles of chemotherapy. From a survival rate standpoint, 75-90% of those who get diagnosed with the disease and treated survive for over five years. Necro Butcher is best known for his time in promotions like ROH and CZW, where he frequently competed in hardcore and death matches. The quote below was provided by Butcher on his Facebook page. “Finally got that elusive diagnosis, stage 3 Hodgkins, it was taking forever, multiple biopsies and procedures, I might be that happiest guy ever to hear he has cancer.” |

He's been looking extremely bad for a while... and I suspected hepatitis; thought he'd die any day. Nothing was really out about what it actually was. I'm glad they now know and will attack it. He has a family and many more years to live!

Very sad. He's such a good guy. He was a huge fan of the local minor league baseball team in my city and I would run into him a lot. He's had a really hard life but he's a fighter for sure.

Necro Butcher is still undefeated at GalactiCon. He attended the Friday night get together in Jamestown right after legends of the Future was released. he won the tournament with his own card. Best of luck to him in his recovery.
