Starting operation in the very near future, a new independent wrestling promotion setting its sights on showing the big boys, namely the NWA, what wrestling is all about.
Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) will operate out of its home state of Pennsylvania. The company boasts an open door policy so any wrestler in the world today can come and try their hand.
ECW will not be a part of the NWA, which currently has International Championship Wrestling (ICW) and the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) among its members.
Here is the initial roster that will participate in a 24-man tournament to crown the first ECW champion. There will be three, eight-man brackets with the winners facing off in a Three Way Dance Elimination match for the title.
Chris Hero Claudio Castagnoli Ricky Landell Arik Cannon Adam Pearce Larry Sweeney Drake Younger Necro Butcher Mike Quackenbush Delirious Sam Hayne JD Michaels Timber Dupae Rupa Savage T Harker Dirge Chris Candido Justin Credible Sandman Sabu Steve Corino Danny Doring Terrible Turk Ox Baker
(Promoter's note) After over a year of not playing any of my LOW feds, I think I'll be picking everything up again. Eventually I'll start threads for my ICW and USWA promotions once I've got a little background to give everybody, since all my history is over on the old message board.
I name my feds after real life companies, not because I can't think of anything original on my own. I'm also considering a fourth promotion that would work under my NWA banner, that way I would be able to use all of the LOW cards without having very large rosters.

Non-Tournament
JD Michaels def. Chris Candido

ECW Hardcore TV #5 Viking Hall Philadelphia, PA July 29, 2118
The biggest show in the short history of ECW, as the first heavyweight champion will be crowned!
Dupae Rupa def. Harker Dirge
Dirge started off hot with a lot of offense, but the Belgian Brawler turned it all around. He put together several big moves and won with the Belgian Waffle.
In the ring: Larry Sweeney told the fans not only is he showing what a great wrestler he is in ECW, but he will be the best manager in the world today. Sweet & Sour Inc. will be forming soon and he is watching everyone for possible members.
Larry Sweeney def. Savage T
The Savage one took the fight right at Sweeney for awhile, but not very long. Sweeney then put a beating on Savage T and won with the 12 Large Elbow Drop.
Chris Candido def. Ricky Landell
Candido nailed Landell with an enzuigiri right at the bell, then got the three with a superplex for the win.
JD Michaels def. Danny Doring
A real nice match that JD controlled most of the way. Doring couldn't keep Michaels down, and JD eventually won with a flying elbow.
Claudio Castagnoli def. Adam Pearce
A very even matchup that neither could keep the upperhand for long. Both men went down in a heap and Claudio was able to roll over and get a three count.
Sam Hayne def. Delirious
A big win here for Hayne and manager Eddie Fyne. Delirious took a pounding but kept firing back. Delirious missed multiple high risk moves, and yet almost won but Fyne interferred. Hayne put the Devil Lock on for the win.
Arik Cannon/Timber def. Necro Butcher/Drake Younger
A real hardcore battle here that saw Necro and Younger dominate most of the match. The fighting went all around the ringside area. There were many different weapons used and Younger came off the ropes and got nailed by Younger for the pin.
Steve Corino def. Mike Quackenbush
Corino fought on the defensive most of this contest. It was a great battle that neither could find a way to put the other man down. Corino got the Old School Expulsion on for the win, then Danny Doring came out again to put a double team smackdown on Quackenbush. His partner Chris Hero was nowhere to be found.
Sandman def. Terrible Turk
Another very good back and forth brawl. A DDT by the Sandman gave him the win.
Bruiser Brody def. Sabu
A big reason to be at this show was to see Brody's first match back after a loss to Jimmy Snuka that sent him out of the LWA for 90 days. That term is not quite up yet, but Brody hit ECW hard last week.
Both wrestlers came with their 'A' game and had many nearfalls and huge moves on the other. Brody came away with a hard fought win, but the night wasn't over for him yet. After the bell, The Sheik stormed the ring and attacked Brody. These two fough through the crowd and all the way to the back.
ECW Heavyweight Title Tournament Final Three-Way Dance Elimination Match Chris Hero def. Justin Credible and Ox Baker
An instant classic for the ECW title. Ox and Credible spent most of the match fighting each other, stopping occasionally to knock down Hero. It was Hero who pinned Credible with a Hero Sandwich. Then the Hero's Welcome twice put Baker away to win the title.
