Monday Night Legends #1 Sam Houston Coliseum, Houston, TX
“Welcome to the Legends Wrestling Federation, fans! Tonight, the first Monday Night Legends opens with an eight-man tournament to crown the inaugural LWF World Champion,” Teddy Long, the commissioner of the LWF, states boldly and proudly. As Long begins to leave the ring, the fans erupt when Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka comes out from the back and runs down to the ring to start the tournament.
In the opening match, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka defeats Davey Boy Smith via pinfall when Snuka fights off a sunset flip and quickly capitalizes by grabbing the legs and collapsing into a quick cover. Both men shake hands after the match.
Lou Thesz defeats “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig w/ Larry “the Axe” Hennig via pinfall after the Greco-Roman Backdrop. Hennig grabs the microphone after the match and begins to rant. “Thesz, you old man! You cheated me here tonight, and you embarrassed me in front of all my fans. My father and I will teach you not to mess with the Hennig family.” Thesz smirks and leaves the ring. Fans, on the other hand, boo “Mr. Perfect” loudly.
Rob Van Dam w/ Bill Alfonso defeats Harley Race via pinfall after the Five Star Frog Splash.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage defeats Vader via pinfall after the Flying Elbow Drop.
Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka defeats Lou Thesz via pinfall after the Superfly Leap. Sadly, Larry “the Axe” Hennig clobbers Thesz after the match. As soon as “Mr. Perfect” jumps in as well, Snuka clears the ring and helps Thesz to his feet.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage defeats Rob Van Dam via disqualification after the Van Daminator doesn’t go over well with the referee.
In the main event, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka defeats “Macho Man” Randy Savage via pinfall after the Superfly Leap to become the inaugural LWF World Champion! Savage extends a hand to the champion. Both men shake, hug, and then leave the ring discussing their match.

Monday Night Legends #2 Monroe Civic Center, Monroe, LA
“Tonight, we crown more champions,” Teddy Long announces. He is interrupted by Larry and Curt Hennig. “Before you say anything, I’ve already made a match for next week. Larry, you’ll take on Thesz. Curt, I have nothing for you, playa. Now, you two leave the ring; I have a show to start.”
In the opening match of the night, Angelo Poffo defeats David Taylor via count out after Poffo uses his Neckbreaker to stop Taylor outside of the ring. In the end, “Macho Man” Randy Savage comes down to the ring and congratulates his father on the victory. Lanny Poffo comes out as well. It’s a family reunion; however, Angelo and Lanny turn on Savage and double team him inside the ring. The fans go nuts and throw debris at Angelo and Lanny. “Were you too embarrassed to take on the Poffo name, Randy?” Angelo yells. “You are no longer with us. You are no longer my son. Lanny is the only son I need, ‘Savage.’”
Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “the Crippler” Stevens defeat the Fantastics via submission when Bockwinkel puts Fulton away with the Bockwinkel Sleeper. As soon as the match starts, Stevens takes out Rogers, tossing him from the ring apron and into the guardrail. Fulton, confused by the abrupt start and attack, immediately falls to Stevens and Bockwinkel’s tricks when Bock strikes from behind with his strangling finisher. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens move on in the tag team tournament.
The Road Warriors w/ Paul Ellering defeat the Quebecers via pinfall after Pierre Carl Ouellet falls to the Doomsday Device. The Road Warriors continue on in the tag team tournament.
“The Franchise” Shane Douglas becomes the LWF Television Champion when he tosses Brad Armstrong, the final man of twenty other competitors, over the top rope in a battle royal. Francine comes down to the ring to celebrate with her man. Obviously, the fans love what they see.
In the main event, Road Warriors w/ Paul Ellering defeat Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “the Crippler” Stevens via pinfall after Hawk drops an exhausted Stevens with a vertical suplex. Hawk and Animal become the inaugural LWF World Tag Team Champions!

Monday Night Legends #3 War Memorial Stadium, Little Rock, AR
In the opening tag team match, Texas Hangmen taking on Doug Gilbert & Brad Armstrong ends in a draw due to the fact that Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “the Crippler” Stevens attack both teams mid-match. Stevens hits Killer and Psycho with the Crippling Piledriver; Bockinkel uses the Figure Four Leglock on Gilbert and the Bockwinkel Sleeper on Armstrong. After the attack, Bock calls for the microphone. “Ray and I feel we were cheated by Hawk and Animal. We want another shot, Road Warriors!”
Lou Thesz defeats Larry “the Axe” Hennig w/ “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig via pinfall after the Greco-Roman Backdrop. Larry Hennig almost puts the match away with the Axe, but Thesz comes back and fights off underhanded attacks from both Hennigs. Thesz picks up a two-count after the Thesz Press, but Curt Hennig is there to distract the referee. In the end, Thesz tosses “Mr. Perfect” into the fans and finishes “the Axe” with the Greco-Roman Backdrop. After the match, Thesz says he wants to teach “Mr. Perfect” a thing or two next week!
Davey Boy Smith defeats Vader via pinfall with the Running Power Slam. Vader and Smith go at it like two freight trains slamming right into each other. Vader is quick to turn the fight into a brawl and toss Smith outside of the ring, but Smith always finds a way to come back. After missing the Moonsault twice, Smith is able to come back with his finishing slam to pick up the win; however, it takes more than one Running Power Slam to put the much bigger man down for the count.
Harley Race defeats King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby “the Brain” Heenan via disqualification when Bundy refuses to bring the fight back into the ring. Heenan doesn’t poke his nose into the match much, but he does demand Bundy make a statement. Bundy does just that when he tosses Race over the guardrail and into the crowd, striking him with a steel chair multiple times.
In the main event, “the Franchise” Shane Douglas w/ Francine defeats Disco Inferno via pinfall after the Pittsburgh Plunge to retain the LWF Television Championship. Disco proves to be way more of a challenge than Douglas expected him to be. However, after Francine stops Disco from going for the cover after the Last Dance, both manager and challenger get into a scuffle. When Disco Inferno tosses Francine off the ring apron, Douglas snaps and comes back with his finisher for the victory. After the match, Francine nails Disco with a low blow.

Monday Night Legends #4 Cobo Hall, Detroit, MI
In the opening tag team match, the Pitbulls defeat Tugboat Taylor & Chaz Taylor via pinfall when Pitbull #2 drops Tugboat with a super fallaway slam. Chaz holds his own against the Pitbulls, even kicking out of the Super Bomb! However, right before Tugboat can perform the Anchor Drop, all hell breaks loose with a massive brawl. All four men fight and scatter, leaving Pitbull #2 to finish the match against a blindsided Tugboat Taylor.
Harley Race defeats “Sodbuster” Kenny Jay via pinfall after the Vertical Suplex. After the match, Race grabs a microphone. “Bundy, we’re not finished! Heenan, we’re not finished. I’ll see you next week, King Kong.” Suddenly, the Valiant Brothers hit the ring and attack Race. Bundy and Heenan come down to join in.
Ray “the Crippler” Stevens w/ Nick Bockwinkel defeats Doug Gilbert w/ Brad Armstrong via pinfall after the Crippling Piledriver. Stevens continues to hit his finisher over and over after the match. Bockwinkel takes out Armstrong. Hawk and Animal, the LWF World Tag Team Champions, run down to the ring and make the save. Stevens and Bock run away with grins on their faces. Teddy Long stops Stevens and Bock at the entrance ramp. “Playas, the Road Warriors have agreed to put their titles on the line next week; however, I have decided that Brad Armstrong and Doug Gilbert will be the guest referees for such a chaotic match.”
Lou Thesz defeats “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig w/ Larry “the Axe” Hennig via pinfall with the Thesz Press. After beating “the Axe” last week, Thesz is looking to beat the younger Hennig as well. Thesz has the match in the bag with his first Thesz Press, but “the Axe” attacks and breaks the pin. After brawling with both men outside the ring, Thesz hits a series of nasty Greco-Roman Backdrops and then finalizes the match with another Thesz Press. After the match, Thesz tells the Hennigs that he is done with them.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage is in the “Hot Seat” with Bill Apter. As Apter reads a letter of appreciation from a fan, Angelo and Lanny Poffo stroll out. Savage is still very upset about last week. Lanny rips the fan letter and Angelo jabs an ink pen into Savage’s eye. As security and medical staff rush in, the show quickly cuts back to the ring. Scott Hudson and Mike Tenay apologize to the fans for what they just witnessed; both sound unsure of Savage’s ability to still see from his injured eye.
In the main event, Rob Van Dam defeats Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka via disqualification when Snuka decides to turn his back on the fans and choke Van Dam with an extension cord outside of the ring. Due to being a disqualification, Snuka retains the LWF World Championship. The show slowly fades out as RVD struggles to breath...

The Fantastics defeat the Valiant Brothers w/ Bobby “the Brain” Heenan & King Kong Bundy via disqualification when all members of the Heenan Family attack Tommy Rogers before he and Fulton can deliver their signature Press Slam & Splash. After the match, Harley Race runs down to the ring and knocks down King Kong Bundy. Fulton and Rogers come back and all three men clear the ring of the Heenan Family.
Vader defeats Angelo Poffo w/ Lanny Poffo via pinfall after the Vader Bomb.
Davey Boy Smith defeats Disco Inferno via pinfall after a series of running clotheslines. After the match, Smith says he is coming for Shane Douglas’ LWF Television Championship. Douglas comes out and says Smith hasn’t earned a shot yet. Teddy Long, on the big screen above the entrance ramp, interrupts Douglas. “Playa, DBS beat Vader and Disco Inferno. I think he can beat you... next week... and your title is on the line. Holla!”
In the main event, the Road Warriors w/ Paul Ellering defeat Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “the Crippler” Stevens when Stevens is flattened with the Doomsday Device. At one point, Stevens and Bock deliver a brutal double attack on Hawk while Animal is down on the outside. As Stevens drops down for the pin, Ellering rings the timekeeper’s bell and distracts Doug Gilbert and Brad Armstrong, the guest referees. Hawk and Animal are then able to come back and retain the LWF World Tag Team Championship once order is restored! After the match, Gilbert plants Stevens with the Piledriver and Armstrong stops Bockwinkel with the Russian Leg Sweep. The fans go wild as the show goes off the air...

Solid show Dustin leave it to Ellering to find a way to keep the straps around his men's waist, Fantastics and Race now there is an interesting combination i can just see Race dropping Bundy like a bad habit.

Love the Poffo family drama. I wonder how Angelo will feel about Lanny when he has to carry the honor of the Poffo family on his own.
