Not having played any of FUTURE SHOCK (I have no idea how Im going to handle this in my fed), I would hope to see some new faces and names. I love the court like there are some connections to the past but it's fun to build new stars, names and legends. I would love to see a new Genesis vs Colonizers like feud spill into the federation.

Maybe we can do away w naming different guys after someone already in the game. Asking for Lord Nexus and the Royal Fam. Especially when they look so good as all of those guys do. I know we can change the names and I definitely will, but it’s lame. Scion, Neon, Leon whatever, anything is better than Lord Nexus. Lord Nexus the 2nd maybe? King Terron and Queen Ilya (Or whatever their names are)? Death Knight works as their have been several and he looks to be among the best (if not) the best of them. Sets really good just the repeat naming thing Is lame. The AJ Styles as Macho Man is a great example.

Then again if Tom introduced someone new, it would require a new card. I think though in 37 we might just such a new face. I don’t think we ever need another commissioner card. Tom can just do what was done in the CPC era & say so & so is the new commissioner and use the back of this card.

COTG Promoter Prime is the perfect place for Tom to Introduce characters like a new Commissioner Cards. The Prime GWF fed doesn’t get much love there. Some great cards for this quarter would have been Massif Commissioner Card, Dark Menace Commissioner Card (or combined dueling commissioner card), Commander Sam solo manager card, etc..

I wouldn’t mind if it was someone or something new TB, but another Commissioner Massif card not sure something I would want. The Godsend big card though is cool and awesome. I’d much rather see these eternal champion alternate takes on older cards.
commissioner massif 3 < Stone Cold Sectarian card who also has a mechanic where he drinks beer and gets stronger like popeye

Not sure if this is a spoiler or not....but how old must Commander Sam and Lord Nexus be by now? Even if Sam was 18 in 2074, that would make him like 80 years old! I know future science and medical help must be better and all, but shouldn't they be retiring soon?

As far as the set, I'm kinda torn on the recycled names/gimmicks. The history/nostalgia side of me likes it, but then again, it gets a little confusing at times keeping track of which Splatter or Thantos people are talking about. Other than that, I like the Story/booklet for this set. Basilisk seems cool and I'm liking the Liberators. Killer Queen might be my favorite of the set. I was a little confused about the "Insider's Note" Godsend refers to. What is the Champions of the Galaxy: Tournament of Champions starter set"? Has this been discussed elsewhere? Is this the 50th Anniversary "best of" set that Tom posted on here looking for feedback on? If not, what happened to that? I was thinking I would have that to order when I ordered this set. Finally, I was thinking that since this was the start of a new "story arc" that the last arc woould be tied up a little more fully. If we're really learning the "untold story" of the GWF, I think that's an interesting story perspective that I'd like to see explored more fully.
Just my 2 cents.
