Vegas Cup presented by the VWA Day 4 December 24 Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (Final Third of show, First Third and Second Third are both posted above)
Match #9: The Street Profits defeated Matt Cardona and Brian Myers in a non-tournament Special Attraction match
- A competitive match, the Street Profits picked up the victory after hitting their combination of THE ANOINTMENT/FROM THE HEAVENS on Cardona.
Match #10: Sunset Champion Nicole Savoy defeated Shayna Baszler
- Savoy won via a DRAGON SUPLEX to retain the Sunset Championship.
Match #11: "Cowboy" James Storm defeated EVOLVEGAS Champion Drew Galloway by DQ
- This match ended in DQ when Thom Latimer and Royce Isaacs appeared and helped Galloway attack Storm who was on the offensive at the time and it appears the Wild Cards are forming a new faction with Galloway.
- But even though he lost this match, since the result was a DQ, Galloway retains the EVOLVEGAS Championship.
Match #12: Aussie Open defeated Killer Kross and Alexander Hammerstone in the Vegas Cup Finals.
- a very good Finals match. Kross and Hammerstone were in control early and almost won the match. Aussie Open however used their superior tag defense to their advantage to battle back each time Kross and Hammwerstone went on a short run on offense. The end came when Kyle Fletcher pinned Hammerstone following the FIDGET SPINNER.
- As a result, Aussie Open has won the Vegas Cup!
End of Show.

Yes! And they came within 2 numbers on a PIN attempt in the finals to winning the entire Vegas Cup. Although they looked headed to a loss in the Quarter-Finals until the Briscoes got themselves DQd, the team of Killer Kross and Alexander Hammerstone (I don't think they have ever teamed together before even when they were both in FSW) was definitely the surprise of the tournament. It was a fun tag team to use and I think I will team again in the future.

That was an incredible Vegas Cup tournament. Big props to Killer Kross & Alexander Hammerstone for making it all the way to the finals. That aside, it was very cool to see Aussie Open come away with the victory overcoming what was an amazing field of tag teams.

I thought t was cool to see Aussie Open win too. I think I am going to place Aussie Open in my Ring of England fed- which includes the ROE Tag Team Champions Young Bucks who Aussie Open gave a rare defeat to in the Quarter-Finals of the Vegas Cup- based on Aussie Open's major success in Europe (2 time tag team champions in PROGRESS and 2 time tag team champions in wXw among other European tag team championships.)
