I'm only using color. I didn't collect the B&W sets and color was a good place for me to jump on. Aside from that, I do like the artwork consistency. Not only color, but I like that Werner does all the art. Thirdly, I actually like the idea of starting with less and having more limitations, then being excited for new releases to gradually expand. It's like being a kid and waiting for a new wave of action figures to release in the store. This doesn't mean that I won't ever use a B&W if there's a card in particular that I want, but right now I like just using color. I wonder what will happen if the artist ever changes and Werner no longer does the art? Everyone’s OCD will go into overdrive! I'm not that bad. LOL!

I mix-n-match all the time. I mix B&W Legends, Color Legends, Indies of all sorts (ROH, Chikara, et al.), and sometimes even throw in some of the limited selection of COTG stuff I have, too. If I own it, I'll use it if I want to. It's all *basically* the same game & system so why not? There's a lot of reasons for it, as have been stated before: some cards are likely to never be in Color and all that being the biggest one for me of course. I have a whole mess of bootlegs, too, but I don't use them in the feds I post here because there are a whole lot of different versions of boots out there and it's just easier (on me if no one else) to only use official cards (or officially-unofficial cards like the CWFH stuff that throwingtoasters provides me with) so that there's never any confusion for my fellow promoters regarding which versions of wrestlers I use. So long as I'm still having fun I'll keep doing things my way.

Wait ... why wouldn't you mix them? Are we not supposed to? I started on B&W and added color when got the new cards. OCD. Funny I am also OCD and I was okay with it ... the Monk DVD box sets on the other hand I was not ROFL I guess I never really noticed the difference unless I was playing a battle royal or MegaTournament and realized some of the cards felt different lol. I was raised on the B&W, still getting used to the color.

I have a harder time with bootlegs than I do color vs b&w. Swarm sent me some great stuff but I could only talk myself into using Flair, Sting and Dusty. I also pick up sets and then organize them into new “sets” trying to get people close to their actual debut years or time period. Hence why I’m a little more okay with spoilers from legends cause it helps me prepare this spreadsheet.

I wonder what will happen if the artist ever changes and Werner no longer does the art? Everyone’s OCD will go into overdrive! May it never be!!!! Seriously, I also love the fact that all of the artwork is from the same artist... The quality of the art in the B & W sets varied greatly. I loved Steve Stanley, but Werner has become my favorite. May his drawing hand never get arthritis!

I can't do it. I like the color cards and when I try putting a B&W card next to them, it just puts me off.
Now bootleg color cards....Yeah, I love me some bootlegs.
