AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Without a doubt, Aethran teams are the epitome of the phrase 'the whole is greater than the sum of its parts' and I think Blast & Sam will find that out... Funny....I actually used Lance in my GWF in 2074 (ageless immortal makes that fairly easy) and he had moderate success so basically in 91 he was returning to the fed instead of new.

I'm really excited to see how teaming him up with Actagon pans out... Despite being the inaugural tag champs, the Greeks have not been tearing it up here... Of course, too much success might lead to an awkward situation when Proteus returns... We shall see what the dice have in store!

GWF CALL OF THE WILD Matrix Theater 2087-07-28
Commentary: KO Keller and Mighty Grogan
Bishop Hell defeated Pulsar via pinfall. - Bishop pinned Pulsar with HELLFIRE. - Tokens: Bishop 2 - Pulsar 1 - Pulsar dazzled the crowd and nearly upset his opponent with a series of high flying maneuvers. Bishop bounced back with a wicked combination, giving the Titan no chance to regain his earlier momentum.
Comrade Terror & Executioner defeated Battering Ram & Incredible Badger (w/ Reptillo) via pinfall. - Terror pinned Ram with a flying skullcrusher. - Tokens: n/a - Jumping their opponents before the opponent bell, Terror & Executioner spoiled the debut of the AniMen. - Badger suffered an injury and will be out of action for 4 months.
Interview: Omega & Star Warrior - With his retirement match coming later on the show, Omega publicly offered his thanks to the fans that have supported him throughout his career. Star Warrior added that he was honored to be part of history in the making when the Living Legend competes in his final match.
Renegade defeated Vanity via submission. - Renegade finished Vanity with a SPINECRACKER. - Tokens: Renegade 4 - Vanity 2 - When things became too intense, Vanity tried to make a strategic withdrawal. Beast-Rider cut him off on the runway, giving Renegade time to grab him from behind and toss him back into the ring.
Titan Death Match Pit Viper defeated Ghengis Khan via pinfall. - Viper pinned Khan with a VENOM BLAST. - Tokens: Viper 1 - Khan 1 - This was a violent seesaw battle that rapidly escalated when Viper used a broken bottle as a weapon. - After the bell, Viper continued slashing with a shard of glass while Khan covered up to protect his face. Security arrived to drag Viper away from his enemy.
Actagon (w/ Lance At-Las) defeated Killer Queen via submission. - Actagon finished Queen with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP. - Tokens: Queen 4 - With Proteus still recovering from his recent injury, At-Las was present to offer support to the lone Greek God from ringside. Actagon delivered a clinic in technical efficiency for which Queen had no response. - Similar to a scene that took place a month ago, the entire theater went dark at the conclusion of this match. Hundreds of glowing particles flickered across the viewing platform of the HoloTron. These miniature bursts of light slowly merged into a pair of distinct images. The first took took the shape of an equilateral cross (+) while the second was a simple horizontal line (-). An instant later, the lights returned and two silhouettes appeared at the top of the runway. Before their identities could be determined, the duo retreated into the backstage area.
Backstage: Pit Viper - Still struggling with security in the backstage area, Viper was screaming that he was going to turn Ghengis Khan into a bloody mess. Lord Nexus approached to calm his friend and Viper turned on him, threatening to send him to the infirmary with Khan. Suddenly, Viper blinked his eyes like someone awakening from a trance. He apologized to Nexus, who replied there was nothing to forgive.
Lord Nexus & Massif defeated Exo-King & Invincible Krakan via pinfall. - Nexus pinned Krakan with a dropkick off turnbuckle. - Tokens: Massif 1 - King 2, Krakan 1 - Krakan tried to make a much needed tag while his partner was busy trading blows with Massif on the apron. Unaware of his opponent's positioning, Krakan turned right into the line of fire and Nexus put him down for a three count.
Interview: Thantos - The Gamemaster began counting the reasons why Wolf was nothing more than a simple animal. He emphasized that Wolf had a tendency to vanish whenever the mood struck and could not be depended upon to meet the obligations of a champion. Before he could continue, Thantos was interrupted by a howl. He looked around with a nervous expression and Wolf stepped forward. Pointing at the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship belt, Wolf snarled that it was unwise to provoke an animal.
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match Brute & Massacre defeated Adam Blast & Commander Sam via pinfall. - Massacre pinned Blast with a Gladiator piledriver. - Tokens: Brute 3 - Blast 3 - Concentrating their efforts on robbing Brute of his mobility, Blast & Sam presented a formidable challenge. The Gladiators executed some great teamwork of their own for a successful version three title defense. Brute & Massacre retained the Galaxian Tag Team Championship.
News from the Commissioner's Office: - Mr. Philip Singer announced that so far, seven teams have officially entered the Milky Way Cup tournament: Galaxian Tag Team Champions, Brute & Massacre, Actagon & Proteus, Comrade Terror & Executioner, Adam Blast & Commander Sam, Pit Viper & Pulsar, Killer Queen & Vanity and Beast-Rider & Renegade. This leaves one open spot that he was confident would soon be filled.
Star Warrior defeated Omega via pinfall. - Warrior pinned Omega with a NOVA LAUNCH. - Tokens: n/a - In an emotional contest between father and son, Omega passed the torch to the next generation. The two men embraced after the match and Star Warrior acknowledged the legacy of the Living Legend by exiting the ring as Omega received a standing ovation from the crowd.
Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Match Thantos defeated Wolf via disqualification. - Wolf was disqualified for attacking the referee outside the ring. - Tokens: Thantos 1 - Looking for an easy way out, Thantos continuously retreated from the ring in order to bait Wolf into losing his composure. The plan worked and fed up with being warned about his conduct, Wolf shoved the referee to the floor. Thantos was awarded a technical decision for a successful version four title defense. Thantos retained the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship.
Closing remarks: - Keller remarked that Thantos might have been clever enough to trick Wolf into getting disqualified, but thought he might want to avoid going to the well too often with that particular strategy. Thinking the champion would avoid a rematch against Wolf for as long as possible, Grogan thought Thantos did what he felt was necessary. Recalling the strange Holonet incident following Actagon's victory, Keller wondered if the interruption was caused by a technical malfunction. Grogan spoke about Omega's final match and hoped the Living Legend might join him to provide guest commentary on occasion.

Wonderful card even if Wolf got robbed. Only way Thantos can beat him. Gladiators doing what they do best. I like what's going on with Viper and Khan. Keep it up.
