I'll let Vegas tell people the results as he'll probably remember the people better than me but it was a really good time. Vegas treated me to lunch at Shapiro's (wish I had been hungrier the food's really good) then we talked for a while before heading to the show. Could kill all the people who were not wearing masks (on the way to the show, at the show it was much better) Despite sitting on stone for hours it was fun. Got Blake Christian, Effy and Allie Kat to sign their cards. They were great. I even bought an Effy t-shirt in support. Really good stuff. Thanks to Vegas for the ticket and the good times. (just don't ask about my trip home.....well the trip itself was fine but it took a while for the driver and me to connect)

The show yesterday was a lot of fun, so glad I made this trip. Before the show, there was nobody out selling merch or anything so I was thinking it might be a bad day to try to get signings for the game. The only guy I saw out was Blake Christian who was walking to the back but I was able to get my copy of his card signed and give him a package of his recently released card. They were selling beer at the park but I only had a Pepsi at the show, I just did not feel like drinking beer yesterday. GCW had my name on my 2nd row seat which was placed 6 feet away from other seats in a staggered seating chart which along with the show’s mask requirement and being an outdoor venue makes it about as safe as possible during these times. My seat was in between the ring and the river which felt good, one of the best outdoor venues I have ever been too.
I think my favorite match during the first half of the show was Blake Christian vs Tre Lamar. There was a very brief 10 minute Intermission- they had to make sure the show finished before dark- during which time I got my Effy card signed and my Ace Austin card signed and I gave Effy a stack of his new card. At that time I saw somebody else who also had Effy’s card and he told me he really liked that last set and I told him I actually wrote the stats for that set. I then signed someone to the game right as Intermission was ending.
My favorite second half matches were the scramble and Mance Warner vs Spyder Nate Webb. Right before the main event started, I got a phone call from Nevada which was important enough that I left my seat to go answer. Afterward I noticed a wrestler who we have been trying to get watching the show near the merch tables and I went over to him and talked to him and managed to sign him to the game as the main event was about to start. The main event was good from my angle but I did not get a good view of the ending other than I know ACH cheated to win.
After the show I ran into Alex Zayne and I gave him copies of his card and got my copy of his card signed and I talked to him for a couple of minutes. I then saw AJ Gray and gave him copies of his card and got my copy of his card signed. I then made 3 more signings to the game. I almost went to the show’s after party but I decided not too as I really did not feel like drinking (I am actually trying to mostly quit drinking especially for health reasons such as keeping my weight down) and I already had a number of signings (we now have 21 people who wrestled on this show last night signed, someone else sent in a signed form last week too) and some of these names are probably no brainers for the next general Best of Indies men’s set.). It was definitely great getting to go to a show again for the first time since March.

home now in Las Vegas, overall a fun trip and a productive trip with the signings at GCW last night It was great to hangout with TTX and overall I liked Indiana, although some of the things I would like to have seen were not open, perhaps I will go back in the future especially if GCW does another show at that park which I liked alot as a venue. |

It was great. If they have another show here, I am planning on going. Hope you'll make another one, Vegas as it was a blast to hang out with you even for part of the time.
