I look at the cards first, although pretty quickly. Then read the book, then go back to study the cards more. I do this the same... I look at the artwork first to get a connection with the characters, then I read the book from front to back. I then go back and look at the back of the cards and start my planning of how I want to setup my fed roster.

Ready for the online to be up to order. Very interested in reading all this. For this, I'll probably read the book first and then check out the cards. Should be up this weekend.... just wanted to make sure that we've got all the bases covered for game fans before finalizing!

I always read handbook in full first and then cards when done. Really excited for this set and cheers guys for putting together a great rollout full of excitement!
Do we have any idea when these might begin shipping? 😁

Obviously super excited for fans to finally get the full stories and stats (they tell stories too) for all FIFTEEN brand new playing cards in Battle Lines, but COOL is right up there near the top. I’m interested to hear how people unpack things when a new set arrives. Do you look at all the cards first then read the book front to back? Or something else? When I used to buy new editions of physical cards, I'd SMELL them first! There's nothing like NEW CARD smell! Kind of like new VIDEO GAME smell, haha! I'd look at the PIN ratings next! This way, I knew if the card was going to be used or not. No one with a PIN worse than 6 (3) in MY fed! Then I'd alphabetize the cards (perfectionist in me). I'd skim through the handbook to see who was in what group, and see if that worked for what I had going on in my CotG fed. I'd make sure any new "Special Condition" for Finishers on the cards match what was in the handbook and that I knew how those worked. Then I'd go bring the cards to my playing area and give the handbook a thourough reading, write up a Feud Table for that fed year, and go from there! However, I've been getting sets for ONLINE lately instead. So I now look at the artwork for each card and then the backs. Download the handbook PDF and give that a good look-see. I set up the fed accordingly once I've read the handbook, and go from there! I do miss that "new card smell" though, haha! I wonder if Cool is Dreggs son, could have a fun father and son duo. If that is correct, he may go over to my WAAF fed, since I'm always looking for talent to add there (Aplex's Dreadnox next?), especially since MACE co-owns the fed! Todd C WTIC

BTW...I am going with the theory that Cool is a third brother of Dreggs and Sleeze (maybe even a third of triplets that the other two didn't know about...separated at birth?!?!?) But hey, my prognostication skill are very, very, very bad when it comes to COTG (not matter the brand).

I always look at the artwork first, then the back of the cards, and read the booklet last.
