New to the game, really enjoying it so far. I was wondering what rules players use for Battle Royals?

Welcome to the game!
Here is a simple version. Determine which two wrestlers you want to start. What I typically do is split the participants into two piles, shuffle them up, and then draw one from each pile. Those guys wrestle until one is eliminated. Then I take two new guys and do the same thing. I think of it like the camera is focusing on those two guys at the moment, while the other participants are fighting in the ring.
Eliminations occur when a wrestler is pinned or one wrestle rolls an out of the ring. For pins, the official rules say to assume that the wrestler is thrown over the top rope.
The LOW Ringside Companion released in 2007 had a chart you could use as sort of a save chart, where one wrestler can attempt to save his partner from elimination. I like using this because the wrestler attempting to save can have it backfire and get eliminated himself or you can have two wrestlers get eliminated at the same time. I don't believe that version is in print anymore. And I don't know if the GWF Ringside Companion on the online store has that chart or not. Anyone know?

I believe the only available Ringside Companion is the original one so no.

I do something similar to Cory. I randomly pick 2 guys to start but I only have them go at it for 5-10 offensive moves (im at work and my spreadsheet is home with my rules). I don't keep them fighting until 1 is eliminated for this reason. If i draw Andre and say, Bundy first. I really dont want 1 of those guys to AUTOMATICALLY be eliminated right off the bat. Granted it may very well still happen but i want the chance they both remain in the ring.
So after the 5-10 moves, I pick the next 2 at random while the first 2 get put to the side. Once everyone has gotten some action i re-shuffle everyone and continue.
I also have Battle Royal charts I made a while back and also use the BR Pin Saves Chart that Cory mentioned.
As organized and fluid as my battle royals run, I still avoid them because they're just overwhelming at times.

I meant to add in my original post that I do something like what Slymm does, where I will have an ally or someone else join in the fight with the first two guys I pick. It kind of depends on who else is in the Battle Royal and how the fight between those two guys is going at the moment. The Ringside Companion chart can make it easy to incorporate third (or fourth) wrestlers into the given pair naturally. By the way, Sinestro24, is that Dr. Tweed from Grunt! The Wrestling Movie in your avatar!

Also when you roll your pin you are getting eliminated. I do not roll to see if I am pinned. The pin attempt is enough to toss someone over.

You know it Grunt! The Wrestling Movie is and underrated Classic! Mad Dog Lives! Classic! There are several fans of Grunt! on this board. A small group of us even watched it one year at Galacticon: Chad Olson, TDalton, and DK II, and perhaps others.
