I'll start putting some results of major events in the first game year of my fed. I started out just playing one promotion, then with year two split into ICW and the USWA. I'll put each companies past ppv results in the appropriate thread.

Here are my tournaments for the first World, U.S. and World tag team championships.

The World Heavyweight title tournament took place at the mecca of professional wrestling, Madison Square Garden. A random drawing was held to determine the first round matches.
Frank Gotch vs. Jimmy Snuka
Killer Kowalski vs. Giant Baba
Buddy Rogers vs. Bick Bockwinkel
Bobo Brazil vs. Harley Race

Round 1

Frank Gotch's mat skills were too much for the Superfly and Gotch moved to the semifinals with little trouble.

Baba withstood the brawling tactics of Killer Kowalski and used some power moves of his own. The two traded blows until going to the outside. Kowalski won with the Claw by pulling Baba's foot off the ropes before referee Tommy Young saw it.

Nick Bockwinkel used multiple moves on Buddy Rogers and had the figure four applied but Rogers wouldn't give up. Rogers came back after a fight outside with a couple piledrivers and won with the Figure Four.

Bobo Brazil controlled the match with Harley Race. Race fought back and after a headbutt of his own beat Brazil with the piledriver.

Semifinals

Kowalski used his power against Frank Gotch very efficiently. Kowalski kept the Claw on Gotch for a long time but couldn't get the win. Gotch came back and beat the Killer with a grinding hammerlock.

Rogers and Race fought back and forth. Rogers got a three-count but his feet were on the ropes. Race wouldn't submit until the Figure Four was applied a second time.

Finals

Rogers went right at Gotch in the finals. Rogers again tried to win with his feet on the ropes, but slapped on the figure four and won the world heavyweight title.

The LWF ran down I95 to Philadelphia, where the Spectrum played host to the United States and World Tag Team Title Tournaments.

United States Title
First Round

Destroyer vs. Gorgeous George

The Destroyer attacks fast and hits George with an assortment of suplexes, sleepers and wear down moves on the leg. Both men go down after a double clothesline in the corner. George lands a dropkick then both hit the mat off the ropes. George locks on the Spinning Toe Hold and gets a quick submission for the win with some help from the ropes for leverage.

Ted DiBiase vs. The Sheik

The Sheik immediately cuts DiBiase open with a knife and doesn't let up. The Million Dollar Man lost a lot of blood and the Sheik won easily.

Finals

Gorgeous George vs. The Sheik

After George nailed the Sheik thanks to a distraction by Cherie, the Sheik gets up first following a double clothesline. George makes it to the ropes after the Backbreaker and Hammerlock. The Sheik cuts George open and goes for the submission. George desperately fights back on the outside and with another distraction uses the Airplane Spin. George comes off the top rope with a knee drop despite the blood pouring from his head, and then uses the Spinning Toe Hold. The Sheik gets away but after another airplane spin the Sheik gives up to the toe hold and Gorgeous George win the United States heavyweight title.

World Tag Team Titles
Round 1
Road Warriors vs. Valiant Brothers

The LOD plant Johnny Valiant with a spike piledriver but he gets the tag to Jimmy. Hawk uses a suplex and a clothesline to get a 2-count. The Valiants struggle offensively but make the tag when it's needed. Animal gets hit with a double clothesline and then Johnny V. lands a spinning neckbreaker and an elbow smash off the top and makes the cover for a nearfall that Hawk breaks up. Jimmy Valiant pulls out a foreign object and nails Animal and then uses the ropes to help get the pin for the upset.

Johnny & Greg Valentine vs. Iron Sheik & Nicolai Volkoff

The Valentines tag in and out working on Volkoff. Johnny applies the abdominal stretch and then hits the Atomic Skull Crusher. The Hammer comes in and slaps on the Figure Four and the Sheik makes the save. The Valentines double team the Sheik with the Skullcrusher and then the Figure Four. Volkoff gets back in but has no offense. The Iron Sheik gets a breather and takes over after a brawl on the floor. The Sheik gets hit with a double clothesline and then the Hammer puts on the Figure Four again. Nikita Breznikov tries to interfere but the Iron Sheik submits.

Finals

Valiant Brothers vs. Johnny & Greg Valentine

Johnny Valentine starts with power moves against Johnny Valiant. The Valentines are a smooth unit in the ring and workk on both Valiants. The Hammer puts on the Figure Four as Johnny sends Jimmy Valiant out of the ring. Johnny V. taps out and the Valentines are the new world tag team champions.

The Super Dome in New Orleans, Louisiana was the site for the first ever ppv event in the LWF, The Parade of Champions.
Johnny Valiant vs. Virgil
Recent lack of success has led a couple tag teams to work in singles competition. Johnny Valiant wasted no time against Virgil. A big body slam followed by a pair of spinning neckbreakers scored the pin on the Million Dollar Man's bodyguard.

Jimmy Valiant vs. Nikolai Volkoff
Early in this one both men went down after a collision off the ropes. Valiant hit a neckbreaker and an Atomic Drop to gain momentum. Partner Johnny Valiant jumped up on the apron and the the brothers put Volkoff down with a double clothesline, enabling Jimmy Valiant to get the pin.

Johnny Valentine vs. Iron Sheik
The Sheik fired up Valentine by spitting in his face. A big forearm smash and flying Skullcrusher put Valentine on top. During an excursion to the floor referee Mark Curtis called for the DQ after Valentine attacked Nikita Breznikov and the Sheik with a chair.

2/3 Falls Match
Destroyer & Red Bastien vs. Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose
These teams turned in a classic tag-team encounter. Buddy Rose almost scored a quick fall with two Bombs Away drops on Red Bastien. The Destroyer and Gorgeous George exchanged blows before a suplex and the Figure Four by Destroyer almost beat George. Rose got the tag but missed a charge in the corner and then he survived the Figure Four leglock. Bastien landed two Atomic Drops on Rose to take the first fall.

Bastien and George went at each other and George took over outside the ring. The Spinning Toe Hold then forced a submission from Bastien to even the match.

Both teams were able to tag in and out during the third fall. George had to save Rose from the Destroyer's figure four. Bastien floored George with a dropkick but didn't get the pin. With George in the figure four again Rose came in and a brawl erupted. George then tapped out to the Destroyer's Figure Four to end the match.

Texas Death Match
Greg Valentine vs. King Kong Bundy
The Valentines have been sidetracked in their efforts to take back the world tag team titles. Ted DiBiase and Bundy injured Greg Valentine, and with the Hammer back it created this grudge match.

Valentine started out fast like his father and with chops, forearms and an elbow off the top rope got Bundy down for a near fall. The fight went outside where Bundy bashed the Hammer with a camera. Bundy dropped the big elbow and got a two-count.

The match went back and forth then Valentine began to work on the legs. A chair shot sent Bundy to the mat. Back on the floor Bundy missed an avalanche and hit the corner post. Bundy was still able to get Valentine back inside and crush him with the Avalanche. The Hammer kicked out before the five-count which completed stunned Bundy. Valentine then got planted with a power slam and was pinned.

Dick Hutton vs. Nick Bockwinkel
Dick Hutton and Frank Gotch have formed a tag team after Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race and Killer Kowalski attacked Hutton and sent him to the hospital. Hutton received his first one-on-one shot at Bockwinkel.

After the two traded moves on the mat, A side salto and backbreaker by Hutton got a two-count. The fight continually went outside and Bockwinkel regained control. Hutton made it back inside after a back suplex on the concrete. Bockwinkel used the piledriver and Sleeper but couldn't finish Hutton. The Figure Four finally got the best of Hutton.

Frank Gotch vs. Harley Race
Race didn't give Gotch any breathing room in this one. Repeated head butts, neckbreakers and piledrivers kept Race in control. Gotch battled back and survived three straight Piledrivers. Gotch used a surprise small package for a two-count, but another piledriver pinned Gotch.

Lumberjack Match
Jimmy Snuka vs. Killer Kowalski
These two have been fighting to move up the rankings. After a pair of DQ wins for Kowalski, Snuka won a Steel Cage Match.

Snuka left the ring early but got battered outside the ring by the lumberjacks. Kowalkski used the giant swing and knee drops to ground the Superfly. Snuka was double teamed on the floor and Kowalski applied the Claw Hold for several minutes (4 straight times). Snuka tried to fight back but the stomach claw finally did him in.

Bobo Brazil (U.S. Champ) vs. Ted DiBiase
Many wondered how DiBiase got his title match so soon after he and Bundy lost a world tag team title match.

Bobo Brazil took over with hard body slams and big right hands. The Coco Butt got a two-count as DiBiase tried to run. DiBiase avoided being counted out but two more head butts gave the win to Brazil.

Road Warriors (World Tag Champs) vs. Ox Baker & Sandman
The LOD took on the new and hottest team in the LWF. Hawk and Animal kept Baker in the ring for a long time. The spike piledriver didn't finish him off and neither did Animal's power slam. The Sandman made two saves in a row and then got the tag.

The Road Warriors landed the Doomsday Device but Baker came in with a chair. The Sandman then DDTed Animal put didn't get the pin. Hawk piledrove Sandman on the floor but he was not counted out. Sandman missed and hit his partner. The spike piledriver and the Doomsday Device put away the Sandman.

Buddy Rogers (World Champ) vs. Giant Baba
Buddy Rogers went right to work on Baba with piledrivers and dropkicks for a two-count. Baba also withstood the Figure Four. Chops and the big boot got Baba going and then a bear hug and the boot again gave Baba a cover on the champ. The two fought back and forth until Rogers used the piledriver and then the Figure Four to finally secure the win.

The world heavyweight title changed hands for the first time in the LWF at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
Harley Race began a remarkable run at the title. After falling out of the top 10 rankings, he went on an incredible tear.

Race finished a series of matches with Frank Gotch by beating him at the Parade of Champions. Race then went on a roll by pinning Richard Hutton; winning a 10-man battle royal and then downing Johnny Valentine on the same night; a win over Jimmy Snuka and then the Giant Baba secured Race a world title shot.

Race and Rogers turned in an all-time classic match. It looked like Race would win it early on but Rogers survived multiple piledrivers and then returned the favor by planting Race over half a dozen times with his own piledriver. The match spilled to the outside on several occasions but Tommy Young wouldn't ring the bell. Finally Race got the pinfall to become the new world heavyweight champion.

Some background for the matches coming up at SuperClash I.
The Bees lost to George in Rose in their debut match. George & Rose have been lousy as a team but now have them in a rematch.

The Midnight Express debut against Dick Hutton & Don Leo Jonathan.

A double DQ setup a Lumberjack Match between the Valiant Bros. and the Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff.

Mil Mascaras debuts against Sabu and Jim Duggan's first match will see him team with Koko B. Ware against Ted DiBiase & Bundy.

Since losing the world title and his rematch to Race, Buddy Rogers has fallen to #7 in the rankings. He lost a 2/3 falls match to Kowalski and submitted to Gotch. Now he meets Gotch in a 2/3 falls contest.

Giant Baba has maintained #1 contender status. He lost a title match to Buddy Rogers and now has his first crack at Harley Race.


LWF SUPERCLASH I
The Showboat
Las Vegas, NV
July 25, 2116
Card #30

The ppv kicked off with a rematch between the Killer Bees and the team of Gorgeous George and Buddy Rose. The Bees lost their debut match to this team that is rumored to having problems and possibly splitting up. George and Rose controlled the Bees once again and Blair was rolled by George and pinned with the use of the tights.

The Midnight Express debuted in the LWF against Dick Hutton and Don Leo Jonathan. Hutton and Jonathan kept the pace slow at first but soon the Midnights got their offense going. Hutton survived for a short while but was pinned after Stan Lane's SuperKick.

Next was the Lumberjack Match between the Valiant Brothers and the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. A double dq between these teams set this match up. It was a brutal encounter with both teams feeling the wrath of the lumberjack on the outside. The loaded boot of the Iron Sheik put away Jimmy Valiant.

Also debuting was Mil Mascaras against Sabu. Sabu won his first match in the LWF but has lost four straight since then. Mascaras completely dominated Sabu and won with the flying bodypress.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan joined the LWF by teaming with Koko B. Ware against Ted DiBiase and King Kong Bundy. Duggan was down and taking punishment from both opponents but stayed in the match. It quickly broke down with all four men in with Koko never legally being in the match. The result was a double disqualification.

Jimmy Snuka went up against Nick Bockwinkel in a Texas Death Match. It didn't last long after Bockwinkel had the early momentum. Snuka rallied and the splash off the top was all she wrote.

Fans were irate at the ending of the match between Red Bastien and the Destroyer and Ox Baker and the Sandman. The Destroyer took some punishment and was unable to make the tag. After Bastien came in and got in trouble, the Destroyer wasn't there for him. Finally the masked man just left Bastien in the ring all alone and soon the Heart Punch finished him off.

Since losing the world title to Harley Race, Buddy Rogers lost a series of matches to Killer Kowalski and then Frank Gotch. A Best 2/3 Falls Match was signed between Rogers and Gotch. The first fall went to Gotch after repeated use of the Toe Hold. Rogers evened the match with the Figure Four. In the deciding fall Rogers took to the outside for the upper hand and won via the Figure Four.

The U.S. title was on the line between champion Bobo Brazil and Killer Kowalski. Kowalski had challenged for the belt before but couldn't take it away. After beating Buddy Rogers he got another chance. Killer used the Claw Hold early and had Brazil in bad shape. The champ came back but couldn't get the three after the head butt. Kowalski kept fighting but Brazil landed the Coco Butt too many times and retained the U.S. title.

Greg and Johnny Valentine finally received their first shot at regaining the World Tag Team Titles against the Road Warriors. This was a very brutal match with the Valentines staying toe to toe with the LOD. Both Hawk and Animal were nearly beaten but the match continued with a save by Johnny after the Doomsday Device. Hawk leveled the Hammer with a clothesline after that for the pinfall.

The main event features World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race against the Giant Baba. Baba has stayed the No. 1 contender to the title since the championship tournament. He lost to Rogers at Parade of Champions but kept himself at the top of the rankings for this shot against Race.

Both men took a lot of punishment before going down with very few pinning attempts made. Both seemed on the verge of winning as neither would quit. Baba hit the Neckbreaker Drop to pin Race and become the new world heavyweight champion.

A one-night, 16-team tournament. The winners will be #1 contenders to the world tag team titles.

First Round

(1) Road Warriors - Tag CH vs. (16) Jim Duggan & Don Leo Jonathan

On paper the half of the bracket the LOD are in looks tougher than the other side. Hawk & Animal were given a tough, physical match from Duggan & Jonathan. The Warriors took over the match and crushed both opponents with the Doomsday Device but saves were made. Animal hoisted Jonathan up again and Hawk came off the top rope with a clothesline to finally get the pin.

(5) Ox Baker & Sandman vs. (12) Jimmy Snuka & Sabu

There was a lot of talk surrounding this match and things to come because of it. Baker, the U.S. champion, Sandman & Sabu have been a team in recent months. Sabu joined up with Snuka for the first time.

The Superfly controlled things from the outset. Baker & Sandman worked over Sabu. While all four men were fighting, Sandman busted open Sabu with the Singapore Cane and got the pin. Baker didn't see what he did to their partner.

(7) Killer Bees vs. (10) Midnight Express

An excellent first round matchup and the Bees have beaten Jim Cornette's team before. This time though Eaton & Lane wasted no time. The Flapjack on Brian Blair set him up for an enzuigiri by Lane for the pin. Jim Brunzell never got a tag.

(3) Giant Baba & Bobo Brazil vs. (14) Bundy & Buff Bagwell

Bobo & Baba are ranked #2 and 3 in the singles chart and are former U.S. and world champions respectively. Bundy & Bagwell are a first time team with Bobby Heenan at ringside.

It was a tremendous back-and-forth match. Baba & Bobo began to take over but each unit was able to get the tag when needed. Heenan got involved twice to stop the count. Bundy interfered after a coco butt on Bagwell. With all four men in the ring Bobo scored the pin on Bagwell.

(4) Mil Mascaras & Red Bastien vs. (13) Destroyer & Bob Orton

Another great match with plenty of nearfalls, saves and interference. The Destroyer kept Mascaras in trouble by working on his legs. Mil came back but the Destroyer kicked out after the crossbody. Bastien got to the corner after the superplex by Orton, and Mascaras came off the top to pin Orton.

(8) Frank Gotch & Dick Hutton vs. (9) Valiant Brothers

The shooters dominated on Johnny Valiant to start the match. Albano interfered to keep his team alive. A neckbreaker and double clothesline by Jimmy Valiant had him ready for an atomic drop to beat Gotch. The Valiants hung on for the win.

(6) Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff vs. (11) Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose

Rose and George were able to control most of the match. Nikita Breznikov kept his men in the match with a pair of distractions. A double face-first suplex though gave Sheik & Volkoff the advantage. A power slam and piledriver pinned Gorgeous George. Buddy Rose stood and stared in disbelief, pushed Cherie out of the way and attacked Gorgeous George after the match.

(2) Valentines vs. (15) Ted DiBiase & Killer Kowalski

A fast paced match saw Kowalski with the claw on Greg Valentine early on. Johnny Valentine's skullcrusher elbow almost beat the Million $ Man. The Hammer applied the figure four to Kowalski and then his dad's elbow won the match.

Quarterfinals

Road Warriors vs. Ox Baker & Sandman

These teams have met before with the tag titles on the line. It was another tough match that could have gone either way. The LOD landed the Doomsday Device twice, but the save was made. Finally another top rope clothesline on Baker ended the match.

Midnight Express vs. Baba & Bobo Brazil

Another excellent matchup. The two singles wrestlers completely dominated the tag specialists. Lane and Eaton survived the Neckbreaker and coco butts to somehow connect with their Rocket Launcher. Eaton was battered about though and it ended up a bear hug by Brazil beating Lane.

Mascaras & Bastien vs. Valiant Brothers

This was another match where the two singles wrestlers out did the tag team. Twice Lou Albano kept his men in the match but a flying body press by Mascaras pinned Jimmy Valiant.

Sheik & Volkoff vs. Valentines

The Valentines came back from being down early in the match. Nikita Breznikov had to interfere, but the Valentines overwhelmed the foreigners. After Johnny Valentine's elbow smash and the figure four from the Hammer, a backbreaker put away the Sheik.

Semifinals

Road Warriors vs. Baba & Brazil

This was one of the best matches of the tournament. Hawk & Animal went all out in this one and used the spike piledriver on both Baba & Brazil. Then the LOD's double team finisher almost won it. With all four men fighting, Brazil piledrove Hawk on the floor and the match ended on a countout. The Road Warriors were furious but Baba & Bobo got to the back before anything else happened.

Mascaras & Bastien vs. Valentines

It was all Valentines to begin the match. Johnny and Mascaras fought to the outside and then a forearm hammer put Mil down. His foot was on the bottom rope but the ref didn't see it and the Valentines won the match.

World Title Match

Harley Race (CH) vs. Buddy Rogers

Race made his first title defense with Bobby Heenan in his corner. The Nature Boy was on fire at the start and had Race running away. With the figure four applied Heenan made his presence known. On the floor Race got the upper hand. After the piledriver, Rogers got his foot on the ropes but Heenan pushed it off and Race got the three count.

Finals

Baba & Brazil vs. Valentines

Johnny & Greg worked on Bobo's legs and slapped on the figure four. Baba took over and Johnny kicked out of the neckbreaker and piledriver. The Hammer then came in for the save. After clearing Greg out and all four fighting, Baba had the cover but there was no referee to count. Brazil continued the offense but the Hammer rallied and got the submission with the figure four.

The Valentines win the Crockett Cup and are the #1 contenders for the world tag team titles.

The Thanksgiving in Tokyo Tour opened at Kourakean Hall with a 16-match lineup and the first of three consecutive nights with three championship matches.

Midnight Express vs. Valiant Brothers

Lane and Eaton worked over former U.S. champion Jimmy Valiant to start the match. Later it was Eaton in trouble and as the match progressed both Jim Cornette and Lou Albano got involved. While all four men were fighting Johnny Valiant planted Eaton with the spinning neckbreaker. Both managers got in the ring and the Midnights were able to hit the Rocket Launcher on Johnny Valiant to win the match.

Wahoo McDaniel vs. Brutus Beefcake

The Chief got off to a fast start with powerful chops to the chest of Beefcake. The match went back and forth until the Beefer (Monsoon-ism) smashed McDaniel with his arm band. A flying knee smash off the ropes gave Beecake the three-count.

Red Bastien vs. Buddy Rose

Rose dominated the match and hurt Bastien with repeated brainbusters. Bastien came back as both men went toe to toe. Neither man was able to finish off the other. Bastien took a chance and nailed Rose with a dive to floor. A flying headscissors then pinned Rose.

Dick Hutton & Don Leo Jonathan vs. Destroyer & Bob Orton

The Destroyer went right to work on the big legs of Jonathan. Orton executed the superplex and then they proceeded to take Hutton down to the mat. Both men damaged Hutton's legs. After another superplex the save was made. A piledriver by Orton finally finished off Hutton.

Buddy Rogers vs. Gorgeous George

George jumped the former world champion before the bell. He went for the quick win with the spinning toe hold. Both men fought to the outside where George was nearly counted out. Rogers took over and won with the figure four as valet Cherie was unable to get in the ring in time to help.

Chris Candido & Justin Credible vs. Vachons

Mad Dog Vachon pounds away on Credible with a piledriver then the Butcher uses the Hangman. A desperation tag brought Candido in, but he fared no better. Credible came in with the singapore cane and used That's Incredible on the Butcher. A flying clothesline scored the upset win for the Impact Players.

Jim Duggan & Koko B. Ware vs. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff

Duggan & Koko get Volkoff in bad shape. The Iron Sheik got the tag but had little offense. A clothesline and knee drop by Duggan brought Volkoff in to interfere. After a flying spear Volkoff smashed Duggan with the Russian flag and was disqualified.

Mil Mascaras vs. Ted DiBiase

The match was almost totally on the masked man's side. Virgil interfered with DiBiase in major trouble. Outside the ring Mascaras was hit with a chair but the ref was nowhere to be found. Mascaras brought the chair inside the ring and whacked the Million Dollar Man which brought about his disqualification.

Killer Kowalski vs. The Sheik

Kowalski completely destroyed the mad man. The Sheik could do nothing either in or out of the ring to stop the Killer's onslaught. Repeated shoulder breakers and then a lengthy application of the Claw wore the Sheik down and another shoulder breaker got the pin for Kowalski.

Killer Bees vs. King Kong Bundy & Buff Bagwell

The Bees took this match is no time at all before the Heenan Family could even do anything. Bagwell got away and tagged Bundy, but Brunzell nailed his flying dropkick and pinned the big man for a huge win.

Bruiser Brody vs. Masked Superstar

This was an excellent battle between two superstars. Brody took over early but couldn't put the masked man away. Masked Superstar then launched into a flurry of moves using his cobra hold and neckbreaker over and over before finally pinning Brody.

Ox Baker (U.S. CH) vs. Frank Gotch

Baker quickly overpowered the mat wrestler. A huge clothesline followed by the Heart Punch put away Gotch.

Antonio Inoki & Giant Baba vs. Sabu & Sandman

Inoki was all over the Sandman to begin the match, but Sabu got the tag and the fight went back and forth. Sabu held Baba in the camel clutch for three minutes before Inoki got back in and fought Sabu on the floor. An arabian facebuster prompted a disqualification giving the match to the all-Japanese combination.

Jimmy Snuka vs. Nick Bockwinkel (Fijian Strap Match)

A month ago Bockwinkel & Harley Race injured Snuka in Mobile, AL during a tag match with Buddy Rogers. The Superfly returned for revenge but it was denied as Bockwinkel never let Snuka get any kind of offense started. Bockwinkel's back suplex was put to good use over and over, along with the piledriver before slapping on the sleeper and the figure four. Snuka was able to pull Bockwinkel into the ring post, but Bockwinkel lashed him with the strap. A clothesline and choke hold with the strap set up Snuka to be wore down with the figure four before Bockwinkel dragged him around to all four corners to win the match.

Harley Race (World CH) vs. Bobo Brazil (2/3 Falls Match)

This was a rematch from three weeks earlier in Knoxville, TN where Brazil seemed on the verge of becoming the new world champion when the Sheik attacked out of nowhere, costing him the title. Race never let himself get into any trouble in this one. Race took over with suplexes, neckbreakers and the Indian Deathlock. Consecutive piledrivers gave Race the first fall. Race controlled the second fall with a diving headbutt, neckbreaker and deathlock. Brazil never mounted a comeback and was pinned with a piledriver to end the match.

Road Warriors (World Tag CH) vs. Valentines (Steel Cage Match)

These teams have fought over the tag belts off and on since the Valentines won the tournament and the LOD took the straps some 10 months ago. The Warriors retained at SuperClash and last month in a 2/3 falls match where both teams scored a pinfall and a double disqualification in the other fall left the Warriors with their belts still in tact.

This was a match of the year candidate. Hawk was down after Johnny Valentine's finisher and the figure four. Animal carried his team as the fight went back and forth with all four men constantly coming into the ring. The Hammer saved his dad after the Doomsday Device, but the LOD hit the move again on Greg Valentine. The Valentines showed their toughness and came so close to winning the belts. Following another melee with everyone involved, a spike piledriver on Johnny Valentine ended the match.

The Road Warriors celebrated then left the cage, while the Hammer stared at father. Greg then started dropping elbows on his dad and fired him into the cage. Hawk and Animal came back in to chase Greg away but this father/son combination is no more.

Outdoors at Kawasaki Stadium, the LWF hit the ring in front of the Japanese fans for day two of Thanksgiving in Tokyo.

Valiant Brothers vs. Vachons

The Valiants quickly downed Mad Dog and connected with their double team finisher. The Butcher was cut off and the three count made in quick fashion.

Koko B. Ware vs. Iron Sheik

Koko took over at the start and scored a near fall following a top rope dropkick. The Sheik came back with multiple suplexes, a piledriver and the loaded boot to put Koko down. The Camel Clutch than got him the win.

Frank Gotch vs. Sandman

These two have fought many times and went back and forth. Gotch got the Sandman on the mat and after that the figure four gave him the submission victory.

Midnight Express vs. Impact Players

Chris Candido & Justin Credible started strong and Bobby Eaton was in trouble. Jim Cornette got involved to keep the match going and then Stan Lane was disqualified for using the tennis racket.

Dick Hutton & Don Leo Jonathan vs. Dream Team

Jonathan started off against Brutus Beefcake, then Greg Valentine picked up the offense against Hutton. After taking over on the floor, the figure four finished off Hutton.

WAVE THE FLAG MATCH - NO DISQUALIFICATION
Jim Duggan vs. Nikolai Volkoff

These two big men fought back and forth, in and out of the ring. Duggan would not be denied in this one and won with the Flying Spear.

ELIMINATION MATCH
Mil Mascaras, Bruiser Brody & Wahoo McDaniel vs. Ted DiBiase, Bob Orton & Masked Superstar

Brody pinned Masked Superstar after a vertical suplex. DiBiase beat McDaniel with the sleeper. Orton was DQed after interfering when DiBiase was hit with the flying knee drop. After Brody & Mascaras hammered DiBiase for several minutes, the Million Dollar Man was counted out of the ring. Brody & Mascaras are your survivors.

Buddy Rogers & Jimmy Snuka vs. Buff Bagwell & King Kong Bundy

Bagwell made the save for Bundy and attacked Rogers. The Nature Boy survived the Blockbuster and then Snuka came in after the avalanche by Bundy. After a melee on the floor Bagwell pinned Rogers with the Blockbuster.

Giant Baba & Bobo Brazil vs. Sheik & Sabu

This was a wild braw with the first in-ring meeting between Bobo & the Sheik. These two battled for most of the match. The Sheik fought to the outside while Sabu missed a dive to the floor. After another skirmish Sabu landed the triple jump moonsault on Baba for the pin.

CORPORAL PUNISHMENT MATCH
Red Bastien vs. Destroyer

This one ended quickly. Both men lashed the other with the leather strap. Bastien planted the Destroyer with the Atomic Drop for the win on his former tag team partner.

DOG COLLAR MATCH
Gorgeous George vs. Buddy Rose

A brutal contest between former partners. George nearly won after the use of the chain and then his figure four and spinning toe hold. Rose came away the victor after the Bombs Away knee drop.

Antonio Inoki vs. Nick Bockwinkel

An even match most of the way, Bockwinkel lost for the first time with Heenan at ringside after submitting to the octopus hold.

Road Warriors (World Tag CH) vs. Killer Bees

The LOD destroyed their smaller opponents. Brunzell was pummeled and Blair came in after the Doomsday Device. Blair could do very little and Brunzell saved him. The top rope clothesline then pinned Blair.

Ox Baker (U.S. CH) vs. Johnny Valentine

Baker's slight power advantage helped him at times in this one. Valentine took over and Baker survived the big elbow smash and forearm shots. Baker connected with the heart punch twice, but Valentine won the match and the title with his atomic skullcrusher.

Harley Race (World CH) vs. Killer Kowalski

Kowalski took the fight right at the champ and had him in the Claw twice. Heenan came in the ring and Race was DQed, giving the match but not the belt to Kowalski.

The LWF Thanksgiving in Tokyo Tour wrapped up with another huge show, this time from the Tokyo Dome.

An 8-man tag team match kicked things off. The Impact Players -- Justin Credible & Chris Candido, teamed with the Vachons to face the Valiant Bros. & the Dream Team. A piledriver by Mad Dog finished off Johnny Valiant.

Koko B. Ware scored a win with the Ghostbuster on Nikolai Volkoff.

The Iron Sheik made up for his partner's loss by beating Gorgeous George with the Camel Clutch in quick fashion.

Wahoo McDaniel had no trouble in defeating Buddy Rose with a Tomahawk Chop.

No tags were made on either side as Bob Orton didn't need any help in pinning B. Brian Blair of the Killer Bees with a superplex.

Jimmy Snuka won a real good match over Buff Bagwell with the Superfly Leap.

The Masked Superstar was relentless in applying his cobra submission and the neckbreaker to beat Red Bastien.

Buddy Rogers destroyed Frank Gotch by using the figure four, four times in a row. George Hackenschmidt looked on approvingly from the front row.

A six-man tag team Elimination match was next. Jim Duggan got rid of Sabu with a knee drop. He used a running spear and then Dick Hutton's abdominal stretch finished off the Sandman. Ox Baker was left all alone but downed Don Leo Jonathan with the Heart Punch. He beat Hutton with a backbreaker and then Duggan was DQed for using the 2x4 giving Baker the victory.

Bruiser Brody tossed King Kong Bundy all over the ring. Bundy withstood everything and flattened Brody with the avalanche twice to win the match.

Ted DiBiase upset the Giant Baba with a backward elbow off the second rope and then used the ropes for leverage to get the pin.

Killer Kowalski almost ended the unbeaten streak of Mil Mascaras. The high-flier caught Kowalski with a cross body to win the match.

The Sheik and Bobo Brazil went all out in trying to tear each other apart. The ref refused to dq either man and it was a big head butt that won the match for Brazil.

Nick Bockwinkel outslugged Johnny Valentine to win the U.S. title after using the figure four and then the sleeper.

World tag team champions the Road Warriors ran right through the challenge of the Midnight Express. Bobby Eaton suffered a spike piledriver, two Doomsady Devices and then a power slam by Animal before being pinned.

Harley Race went right at hometown favorite Antonio Inoki in the main event for the world title. Race gave Inoki no room to work but couldn't get the pin even after three piledrivers. Inoki fought back but he missed a charge into the corner and cracked his head on the turnbuckle and Race made the cover for the win.

THE ROAD TO STARRCADE

The championship committee has been forced to make changes to the upcoming world heavyweight title match at Starrcade only two weeks away. Harley Race had been slated to put the title on the line against Mil Mascaras. This past week in San Francisco, Race very nearly lost the belt to Killer Kowalski and was disqualified in the match. It is the second time that has happened to Kowalski as Race got away with the gold in a match they had in Japan. Kowalski said he deserved the title shot at Starrcade in Dallas Tx. while it was already signed for Mascaras.

So this is what the committee decided to do. The world heavyweight championship will be defended twice in one night. First Race will go up against Killer Kowalski. Whoever comes away as world champion will put the title on the line against Mil Mascaras later in the night. In an effort of fairness, Mascaras will also have another match earlier in the show and he will have to face the Masked Superstar.

All the arguing and fighting put up by Bobby Heenan was to no avail. Race will have to defend the title twice, provided he beats Kowalski in the first encounter. Race was able to make it through the three-day tour of Japan with his belt intact. Can he do it again?

More matches for Starrcade have also been announced. The Road Warriors will defend the world tag team titles in a Scaffold Match against the Midnight Express. Johnny Valentine meets his son Greg Valentine in a Dog Collar Match. Bobo Brazil and the Sheik will continue their violent feud inside a Steel Cage. Buddy Rose and Gorgeous George will settle their differences in a Hair vs. Hair, Loser Leaves Town Match! Nick Bockwinkel will defend the U.S. title against Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
