First of all brother Pariah - totally looking forward to Pride & Glory! A.J.'s off to a great start. I like the that new competitors really have to earn their way into the fed - like on a probationary period. Very interesting the way you are structuring this. Tully Blanchard deserves a beatin'. Go get em Barry. I'll hold his arms. Go Lou Thesz and Go MVC! And Go Lou Thesz. Diggin it! I think what you're trying to say here, brotha, is that you'd possibly like to see Thesz walk out of Pride & Glory as champion... But, I could be wrong... It's been known to happen once or twice... HA! Very pleased that you like how things are being structured... You've been a huge inspiration and I'm really hoping this becomes my fed of choice for the long haul... The first time you see a COTG character make an appearance, you will know that I have completely converted. Should have this show posted later tonight... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Pro Class Wrestling Association PRIDE & GLORY Year 1, Jan-26 Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA
Commentary: Paul Ellering, Rock Riddle and Trish Stratus
BOBO BRAZIL def. GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship tournament quarterfinal match. - Despite interference by his valet, George was unable to keep Brazil down long enough to capitalize on his submission skills. Relying on brute strength, Brazil finished George with a COCO BUTT. - Tokens: Brazil 1 - George 3
JOHNNY VALENTINE def. LOU THESZ via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship tournament quarterfinal match. - Valentine opened strong, but Thesz relied on his technical prowess to gradually take control. When the fight spilled out to the floor, Valentine used brawling tactics to regain the upper hand. After battering Thesz against the rails, Valentine dumped him back into the ring and delivered an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER to end the match. - Tokens: Valentine 2 - Thesz 4
RANDY SAVAGE (w/ Sherri Martel) def. BRUISER BRODY via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship tournament quarterfinal match. - Although somewhat brief, this conflict displayed the ferocity of both competitors. Savage staggered Brody with a vaulting neck snap and quickly finished him with a FLYING ELBOW DROP. - Tokens: Savage 1 - Brody 1
HARLEY RACE def. IRON SHEIK via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship tournament quarterfinal match. - Sheik did not have his opponent well scouted, allowing Race to pick up the win with relative ease following a PILEDRIVER. - Tokens: Sheik 2
BUZZKILLERS (Brad Armstrong & Jim Brunzell) def. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey w/ Jim Cornette) via pinfall. - Constant tags by both teams kept the action moving until Condrey dumped Brunzell out to the floor. Brunzell retaliated with a dropkick that sent Condrey face first into the rails. He tossed Condrey back into the ring and Armstrong executed a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP for a crowd pleasing finish. - Tokens: Brunzell 1 - Cornette was furious and accused the referee of making a fast count. Distracted by the manager's antics, Armstrong and Brunzell left themselves open to a post-match sneak attack by their rivals. When the Buzzkillers started to bounce back, Midnight Express grabbed Cornette and made a quick exit.
Backstage: Lou Thesz was confronted by Iron Sheik, who was quick to blame biased American officiating for his loss to Harley Race and wondered if Thesz had a similar excuse. Thesz challenged Sheik to step into his office anytime to learn that excuses have never been part of his business plan.
JOHNNY VALENTINE def. BOBO BRAZIL via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship tournament semifinal match. - Brazil was in firm control with Valentine trapped in a bear hug and fading fast. Without warning, Rock Riddle jumped up from commentary and grabbed onto the referee to prevent him from calling for the bell. Capitalizing on the confusion, Valentine struck Brazil with a low blow and followed up with an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER to steal a tainted victory. - Tokens: Valentine 6 - Brazil 2 - Delighted with his new client's victory, Riddle announced that his time working commentary was over because he was now managing the career of the man destined to become the first PCWA Global Heavyweight Champion.
RANDY SAVAGE (w/ Sherri Martel) def. HARLEY RACE via pinfall in a PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship tournament semifinal match. - There was obvious heat between these two competitors as their recent partnership on the last episode of Wednesday Night Whiplash ended with Race tossing Savage out of the ring. A perfectly timed distraction by Martel allowed Savage to smash Race across the back of the head with the timekeeper's bell. Rolling Race back into the ring, Savage leaned a FLYING ELBOW DROP to claim victory in controversial fashion. - Tokens: Race 2 - After the bell, Trish Stratus verbally laid into Martel for getting involved in such an important match. Martel dared Stratus to leave her post and talk in that manner. When Stratus moved to oblige, Martel hid behind Savage and the pair made a swift exit.
TED DIBIASE def. JIMMY SNUKA via pinfall. - This was an intense back and forth conflict. DiBiase even tried to walk away and accept the count-out loss like he did on a recent episode of Wednesday Night Whiplash, but Snuka dragged him back to the ring. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, DiBiase resorted to underhanded tactics, finishing Snuka with a LOADED GLOVE. - Tokens: DiBiase 3 - Snuka 4
Backstage: Commissioner Dillon held a closed door meeting with Barry Windham and Tully Blanchard in an attempt to smooth things over between the two allies. Windham exclaimed that it was not his fault Blanchard decided to betray him during the closing moments of the Battle Royal on the last episode of Wednesday Night Whiplash. With an indifferent shrug, Blanchard stated there was only so far he was willing to carry another competitor. Dillon jumped between the pair to prevent a physical altercation and advised them to get their act together because they would be teaming up to face 2 Cold Scorpio and Magnum T.A. on the next episode of Wednesday Night Whiplash.
MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION (Steve Williams & Terry Gordy) def. ROAD WARRIORS (Animal & Hawk) in a Best of 3 Falls PCWA Global Tag Team Championship match. - 1st fall: Gordy pinned Hawk with a POWERBOMB. - 2nd fall: Gordy pinned Animal with a BAMM BAMM SLAM. - Both teams narrowly avoided disqualification in this hard hitting affair. MVC managed to remain one step ahead of the Road Warriors, emerging triumphant in two straight falls. - Tokens: Williams 2, Gordy 2 - Animal 4, Hawk 1 MIRACLE VIOLENCE CONNECTION won the PCWA Global Tag Team Championship.
RANDY SAVAGE (w/ Sherri Martel) def. JOHNNY VALENTINE (w/ Rock Riddle) via pinfall in the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship tournament final. - When Valentine got into position for a high risk move, Savage knocked him off the top rope and sent him crashing all the way to the floor. The fall resulted in an unexpected injury and thinking fast, Savage hit a flying axe handle for an improvised finish. - Tokens: Savage 1 - Valentine 2 - Valentine suffered an injury and will be out of action for 5 months. RANDY SAVAGE won the PCWA Global Heavyweight Championship.

Fantastic card Pariah! A lot to absorb in there first of all congrats to Savage & MVC on winning the titles. You really built up to this card well. Was suprised that Johnny Valentine didn't take the title - I figured once Riddle jumped in the middle then the momentum was with him. Although Thesz lost I thuroughly enjoyed the near altercation between him and the Iron Sheik. Was waiting for Stratus to make her appearance I should have figured that the first supercard would be it. I'm just waiting for Ellering to bolt now lol. Also dug the interplay with Dillon / Windham & Blanchard. I have a feeling I know where that may be headed. You are outdoing yourself brother!

Savage and MVC coming out on top makes me very happy. Excellent show all around. I'm definitely pleased with the inaugural champs as well... Wish the tag title match had delivered a bit more excitement... But, I expect these teams will face off again in the near future. Always appreciate the continued interest and kind words, my friend... Many thanks!

There certainly is a lot to digest coming out of this show... Fortunately, it gives us quite a bit to work with for the next few months... Even the injury to Johnny Valentine opens the door to shuttle Race directly into a top contender spot - He cannot be happy about losing to Savage as the result of getting smashed with the timekeeper's bell... Classic Macho Man though... HA! Should have a News Breakers segment posted soon which will set the stage for the next month... This fed has me fired up! Thoroughly stoked that you're enjoying the action, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

The news further stokes an already contentious atmosphere. Johnny Valentine being out for 5/6 months is heavy. He becomes a more powerful time bomb in the process. For me picks: Boris Zhukov (don't know why) Jerry Lynn (Cause he's Jerry Lynn) Windham & Blanchard (despite any possible discord - these two are just too tough) My man Lou Thesz (even if The Iron Shiek has reinforcements and he may - this confrontation could be the first battle of a war but - In Lou We Trust). Very cool to see Nick Bockwinkel in the mix now. Brutal Planet - that's a great name. Very intriguing brother!

And I should have this show posted later today, so we'll see how you fared. Since I want to keep the regular weekly shows as streamlined as possible, I figured that News Breakers would be a decent way to give a quick overview of the title picture... As well as detail the comings and goings as dictated by rolling on the roster management charts provided by bookerbill. Got some pretty fun rivalries in the oven - I won't spoil anything here... And in case you're wondering, Brutal Planet is the name of an Alice Cooper album released in 2000... If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking it out... Rolling onward and upward!
