I am going to win both my consolations games and end up in 5th. Well unless Cole Beasley ends up with less than -12 points tonight and I just do not see that happening. Cory Davis not doing anything last night when I had a lead made that happen. So I end up overall 8-8 on the season. Not to bad. Funny thing is the guy I played in the last game is the one I faced in the first game. Preseason predictions had me 1st over all and him 2nd. I sat Noah Fant and played Gronk in that first game and it cost me. Of course him having Josh Jacobs go off did not help. Josh had his two biggest games when facing me. Then come the playoffs and 3rd time was the charm for me as he did not do much. It hurt though with those two regular season games as I drafted Drake over Jacobs. Oh well. Let the countdown begin until next season.

Did well the last 2 weeks and got 2nd overall in points. Had that stat correction in week 14 not happened and I won my first round playoff game, I would have easily won the championship.
Have a 6 game lead heading into week 17 in pickem. So I feel pretty good about that.

I won Week 16 in pickem thanks to the Buffalo Bills easily covering the spread last night against the New England Patriots.
Overall however my total score for pickem this year is not very good- but that is mostly because I had two back to back bad weeks as I forgot to save my picks for Week 4 and then I completely forgot to make picks for Week 5 (that was the weekend I was at The Collective in Indianapolis where I attended shows every day from like 11AM until 3 AM) which basically took me out of the season-long contest early on.

I am sending out info today on my NFL Playoff bracket pool I run every year. If anyone is interested in entering hit me up and I'll send you the details. Just because the regular season is over doesn't mean you don't have to have something to root for.

I know it says 2020 but didn't see a reason to start a whole new thread so here goes 2021 talk.
I started 0-1 thanks to my sitting Corey Davis, who I picked up with last pick of 14th round in 15 round draft. That and Josh Jacobs scored 2 TDs. If he had not got in the end zone I still would have won. This week I am off to a hot start and should win. I know people are down on Michael Thomas with the Saints but I think when he comes back and working with Winston. So after the draft I picked him up to put on my IR. I have the open spot and he was just sitting there undrafted. I also picked up TY Hilton for IR but dropped him today and picked up Michael Gallup. The guy that had Michael just dropped him instead of putting him on IR. Maybe he does not know about that option. Either way I have 2 solid WR sitting on IR that I can add to my roster when they are cleared if I think they have more value than who I already have. Options are ALWAYS good.

Good IR pickups there. I have TY on my IR, which I have also as a possible keeper next year, since he would be pretty cheap if he bounces back and does well. My keeper this year was Swift, who I kept for $10 in a $200 auction, and he certainly paid off week 1.
We have an auction, so I kind of let my team come to me and just put bids on guys when I thought they were going for too cheap, and I ended up with a few steals. Kyler Murray, Deebo Samuel and Cooper Kupp all went for below where I had them and they all were huge this week. We drafted after the Thursday night game and I was able to get Zeke Elliott for a big discount, hoping he turns it around now. Had the top team in week 1 and have the projected highest score this week, but I am playing the guy with the 2nd highest projected score. Just hoping my team stays healthy, as I have Murray, Elliott, austin Eckler and George Kittle, who are all injury risks.
No matter what though I'm glad to have football back!

Nice, good job. Like Zeke should bounce back. He will have a solid season but not sure if top 5 but if you got him at a discount he will pay off.

I have a question that is not FF related but it is NFL related. Has anyone noticed that after some scores and/or big plays the networks use a camera that gives the players the look of video game players? It seems to make the background out of focus and gives the players a shine or something that makes me think of players in Madden.

@on the edge … I believe that is FOXs 4K cam or super high def camera.

Not sure if is a computer altered photo or something. Certainly an odd change this year.
