I know the loss of both parents so my best advice is that after time passes just remember the good times you had together, that will always keep him close to you.

It's never easy losing someone you love, but remember and cherish all the good memories you had with your dad over the years. All the vacations you took as a family, all the family cookouts, and other things you did with your dad. Those good times will always help with the void that your feeling now.

It's what helped me all these 20 years since my own father passed away from cancer.
