Late to the party, but what a party it is. Played this for hours last night, really took my time to have fun with the tournament.
Decided the first round matches old country way: hero pile and villain pile, shuffle cards, draw at random. Heel heavy means last two villains fight it out in the last match of the round. Results as follow (with the famous snowflake rating system in full effect):
Hector beat Matador with the Teddy Bear Hug turned into an overhead belly to belly suplex (because I ain't ending a match on a bear hug!). ****
Endgame pinned Thunder with This Ends Now. **
Sly Drury defeated Star Warrior after two Regime Change kicks. ****
Orrus pinned Mandrill after the head rammer. ***
Monolith pinned Chaos with Catastrophe. *
The bulls butted heads hard at the feeling out process, which did not last long as Monolith took over and got his finisher roll in about two minutes.
Godsend pinned Max Shield after Kingdom Come. *
Basilisk pinned Wolf after the Behemoth Running Tackle. **1/2
Overmaster won by disqualification over Thantos. **
---------
Endgame pinned Hector with This Ends Now. Squash (six near falls though, so Hector didn't go out easy)
Orrus pinned Sly with Unstoppable Slam. ****
Godsend beat Monolith with Kingdom Come. ***
Overmaster defeated Basilisk after Reign. ***
---------
Endgame pinned Orrus with TEN. ***
Overmaster beat Godsend with Reign. **1/2
---------
Endgame defeated Overmaster with Endgame's Redemption.
Really enjoyable "best of" set. Kind of makes me think of running an ongoing incorporating these cards and this concept since it's kind of like Kronos and every card is really on the table here.
