GWF Presents... #41 2089.01.06
- Titan Death Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match - GLADIATORS OF AETHRA: Brute & Massacre def. ANIMAL PACK: Battering Ram & Incredible Badger via pinfall when Massacre pinned Battering Ram with a DECAPITATOR. ** Tokens: Ram 2, Badger 1 - Brute 2 ** The AniMen opened strong, but the ruthless determination of the Gladiators emerged triumphant. GLADIATORS OF AETHRA won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship. (3)
- GWF Interplanetary Championship Match - BISHOP HELL (w/ Royal Overlord) def. LORD NEXUS (w/ Trainer Jim) via pinfall with HELLFIRE. ** Tokens: Bishop 3 - Nexus 1 ** Using a conservative approach, Nexus tried to gradually wear Bishop down. A valuable distraction by Overlord allowed Bishop to avoid disqualification when he ended the match. Galactic Punisher arrived after the bell to inform Bishop that his rule breaking would not continue. Bishop Hell retained the GWF Interplanetary Championship. This was a successful version four title defense.
In other action...
GALACTIC PUNISHER def. INVINCIBLE KRAKAN via pinfall with a Punisher Smash. ** Tokens: Punisher 2 - Krakan 1 ** Punisher used a series of high impact moves to counter Krakan's attempts to take control of this grueling encounter.

BOUNTY HUNTER (w/ Reynard B. Guile) def. REPTILLO via pinfall with a karate kick. ** Tokens: Reptillo 1 ** Guile expressed his delight with Hunter's debut performance.
RENEGADE def. MAD JESTER (w/ Royal Overlord) via submission with a SPINECRACKER. ** Tokens: Jester 2 ** Mesmer appeared at ringside to scout the underhanded tactics of Jester. He prevented Overlord from getting involved, helping Renegade spoil Jester's first appearance in the process.

- Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Match - WOLF (w/ Amazonia) def. SPIKE via pinfall with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW. ** Tokens: Wolf 3 - Spike 1 ** The referee offered plenty of leniency as the majority of this conflict took place outside the ring. Wolf retained the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship. This was a successful version two title defense.
In other action...
BISHOP HELL (w/ Royal Overlord) & THANTOS def. GALACTIC PUNISHER & STAR WARRIOR (w/ Omega) via pinfall <snake eyes> when Bishop Hell pinned Star Warrior with a Bishop Blast. ** Tokens: n/a ** Bishop and Thantos jumped their opponents before the start of the match, leading to a controversial finish. Alien Corps arrived to handle Punisher while Bishop and Thantos continued to double team Star Warrior after the bell. Bomb Squad rushed the ring to make the save before any serious damage was done.
FIGHTING TITANS: Billy Jo Boxer, Lord Nexus & Pulsar (w/ Trainer Jim) def. MASKED ASSASSINS: Death Knight, Executioner & Splatter (w/ Darkos) via pinfall <snake eyes> when Lord Nexus pinned Executioner with a TITAN DROP. ** Tokens: Boxer 2, Pulsar 1 - Executioner 2 ** Pit Viper appeared after the bell, leading to an intense staredown between him and his former Titan teammates. Lord Nexus tried to speak, but Darkos whispered in Viper's ear before leading him away.
BOUNTY HUNTER (w/ Reynard B. Guile) def. INCREDIBLE BADGER via pinfall with an AMBUSH! ** Tokens: Hunter 2 - Badger 1 ** A perfectly timed distraction by Guile helped Hunter put down his opponent. Reptillo asked his AniMen allies for another chance to prove himself against Hunter, but Battering Ram told him to stand down.
MAD JESTER (w/ Royal Overlord) def. MESMER (w/ Omega) via pinfall with a JAGGED EDGE. ** Tokens: Jester 3 - Mesmer 4 ** The referee had difficulty maintaining control of this wild affair. An assist by Overlord turned the tide and when Omega tried to intervene, Jester knocked him into the rails.
HIGHBORN: Exo-King & Killer Queen (w/ Royal Overlord) def. NORSE GODS: Lightning & Man-Mountain via submission when Exo-King finished Man-Mountain with a DEATH VISE. ** Tokens: Mountain 3 ** Despite a disappointing outcome, Solaris stated that he was pleased that an alliance had been formed between the Greek and Norse Gods.

Loving your COTG fed my friend and I'm always happy when The Gladiators take the gold. Bishop Hell is another favorite of mine so cool to see him as the Interplanetary champion.

Loving your COTG fed my friend and I'm always happy when The Gladiators take the gold. Bishop Hell is another favorite of mine so cool to see him as the Interplanetary champion. This has been a really fun reboot and hopefully, it will keep on rolling right on up until 2136 (and beyond)... HA! The Greek Gods have won back-to-back Tag Team of the Year honors... Maybe the Gladiators can bring that honor to Aethra in 2089... Always value your input, my friend... And pleased your enjoying these COTG antics... Many thanks for staying tuned!

But, wilder things have happened to say the least... Totally appreciate the continued interest, brotha... Many thanks!
