Eight successful defenses for Bishop Hell... I think for the tenth title defense you should put him in a triple threat or fatal four match. Every 5th title defense should test their mantle a bit to be champion. That is a smokin' idea! I have played a little farther ahead than I've posted, so the timetable will probably look a little different... But, this is gonna happen... Always appreciate the valuable input, brotha... Many thanks!

I look forward to that. Could lead to some new feuds.

I look forward to that. Could lead to some new feuds. Without a doubt... And maybe an unexpected title opportunity for... Well, who knows? Good times!

GWF Presents... #48 2089.05.11
- Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Match - WOLF <inj> (w/ Amazonia) def. BOUNTY HUNTER (w/ Reynard B. Guile) via pinfall <snake eyes> with a Wolf Skullcrusher after botched interference by Guile. ** Tokens: Hunter 2 ** Thantos stormed the ring after the bell and attacked Wolf from behind. Star Warrior arrived to make the save, leading to a wild brawl. Security was needed to separate the combatants. Wolf retained the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship. This was a successful version six title defense.
- Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match - ANIMAL PACK: Battering Ram & Incredible Badger def. ALIEN CORPS: Comrade Terror & Tongsoon via pinfall when Battering Ram pinned Comrade Terror with a BATTERING RAM. ** Tokens: Terror 1 ** When Alien Corps attempted an illegal switch, Adam Blast rushed the ring and pulled Tongsoon out to the floor. Terror was caught off guard and the Pack capitalized on the situation. Animal Pack retained the Galaxian Tag Team Championship. This was a successful version three title defense.
- GWF Interplanetary Championship Ladder War - BISHOP HELL def. GALACTIC PUNISHER. ** Tokens: Bishop 4 - Punisher 4 ** A breathtaking exchange near the top of the ladder ended with Bishop ducking a roundhouse kick and catching Punisher with HELLFIRE which sent him crashing back to the mat. Bishop Hell retained the GWF Interplanetary Championship. This was a successful version nine title defense.
In other action...
- Titan Death Match - FIGHTING TITANS: Billy Jo Boxer, Lord Nexus & Pulsar def. SOCIETY OF DEATH: Invincible Krakan, Ghengis Khan & Mutant via pinfall when Pulsar pinned Invincible Krakan with a WHIRLWIND. ** Tokens: Nexus 1 - Khan 1, Mutant 2 ** During a backstage discussion, Trainer Jim spoke to Omega about Pulsar's recent performances and trying to help the young Titan reach his full potential. Omega expressed interest in playing an active role in Pulsar's future.
BLOOD BROTHERS: Pit Viper & Splatter def. GREEK GODS: Actagon & Proteus via DQ. ** Tokens: n/a ** Eager to make the Assassins pay for injuring Actagon on a recent show, Proteus lost his temper. He ignored the referee and bashed Splatter with repeated chairshots.
THE CREEPER (w/ Vanity & Sweet Thing) def. REPTILLO via pinfall with a Skullcracker. ** Tokens: Reptillo 1 ** Vanity appeared very interested in this seemingly insignificant match.

The last couple of cards were outstanding!!! Animen, Wolf, and the Bishop showing that they deserve to be champ...plus, Spike crawling his way up through the rankings! Love the name Highborn btw! Despite giving Wolf a run for his money before there was a title involved, Spike really has not made as much of a splash as I had hoped... Not certain, but it might cause some friction between him and his Aethran allies somewhere down the line. Right now, it looks like all the champions have a relatively firm grasp on their respective belts... Bishop has proved especially dominant, even managing to avoid too many DQ losses in the process. Truly appreciate the constant support, my friend... As I ramp up my Legends fed, I fear the inevitable will happen and my COTG output will gradually take a hit... That being said, it's always great to have my fellow promoters offering their encouragement no matter how erratic my gameplay becomes... Many thanks!
