Yeah it was real cool trip down memory lane, I feel like I had the same excited feeling when I found out there was a second set!!
I talked to my Grandmother the other day, they used to have the subscription to PWI and she’s actually the one that got me the first set. I’m thinking it was 89 because I remember getting the game for my birthday and then watching Summerslam the next day (birthday the 27th and Summerslam the 28th). I played the first set for four years before I found out there was a second set and quickly tried to catch up.
I’ve always been good friends with Mark Ashby since we share a birthday, so I miss talking to him.
So many people have come and gone, I’m sad I went away as much as I did the last couple years. I kind of went away in 2013 and just recently returned ...

Finished this this morning and it was another great walk down memory lane (and it gave me an idea of a project to work on, which is never a good idea).
I also loved 'reading along' with the scans of the old newsletters. Is it known if anyone ever sold enough to get a sketch with their favorite character? I know there's a Snelly (I think, maybe Bendis) sketch with Chaos and a promoter floating around out there somewhere but not sure if that was done for promo purposes or not.
Great episode as always. And thanks for the shout-out!

The Black Friday Smorgasbord special edition of Uncharted Territory is now available! Hear about the Dynamite Kid signing, plus special guests Sam Fain and Mike M stop by for a visit!

Great episode! I listened to it as I stepped away from the food with my "puppy tummy" and engorged on some LOW/CWF/GWF/KOPW!!!
