- Curry finished Armstrong with a BRASS KNUCKLES. Despite his best efforts, Armstrong was unable to keep up with Curry's brutal tactics. -- Tokens: Armstrong 2

- Saint finished Hennig with a THREE-IN-ONE. Hennig nearly muscled his way to victory, but Saint 'turtled up' and shocked him with a JOHNNY SAINT SPECIAL to gain the upper hand. -- Tokens: Saint 2 - Hennig 1

NICK BOCKWINKEL def. Ivan Koloff via pinfall at 1:55.
- Bockwinkel finished Koloff <snake eyes> with a counter crucifix after being whipped into the ropes. Quick thinking by Bockwinkel led to a flash finish in this brief encounter. Ray Stevens stormed the ring and helped Bockwinkel double team Koloff after the bell. The pair stated they were sending a message to the entire roster, but it was Koloff who promised to get revenge. -- Tokens: n/a

ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER received a bye.
- The opening round no contest between Mad Dog Vachon and Red Bastien resulted in Abdullah receiving a pass into the quarterfinals.

THE DESTROYER def. Tiger Conway Sr. via submission at 2:30.
- Destroyer finished Conway with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Both men were searching for some redemption after losing their respective matches during the opening round of the tournament. Conway nearly snatched up the win with a schoolboy rollup after Destroyer missed a running tackle and crashed into the turnbuckles. Destroyer kicked out just in time and mounted a swift comeback. -- Tokens: Destroyer 1 - Conway 1

BOB ARMSTRONG def. Bull Curry via DQ at 0:41.
- Curry was disqualified for hitting Armstrong with a chair smash. After losing his opening round tournament match to Curry under questionable circumstances, Armstrong was eager for some payback. He was not satisfied with the result. -- Tokens: n/a

ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER def. Angelo Poffo via pinfall at 7:17.
- Abdullah finished Poffo with a SUDANESE MEAT CLEAVER. In another tournament opening round rematch, the animosity between these two men quickly escalated. Embracing his violent streak, Abdullah emerged victorious over Poffo for the second time. -- Tokens: Abdullah 4 - Poffo 3

KILLER KOWALSKI & LARRY HENNIG def. Johnny Saint & Mike DiBiase via submission at 5:28.
- Kowalski finished DiBiase with a KOWALSKI CLAW. Although he was not their primary target, Kowalski and Hennig cornered DiBiase to claim an impressive win. Both men were defeated by Saint during the tournament and made it clear that he would pay for their embarrassment. -- Tokens: n/a

RAY STEVENS def. Ivan Koloff via pinfall at 4:32.
- Stevens finished Koloff with a double underhook suplex. There was no shortage of bad blood as Koloff remembered the double team assault by Stevens and Nick Bockwinkel that occurred during the second round of the tournament. After reversing a whip into the ropes, Stevens dropped Koloff into a pinning combination and hooked the tights for additional leverage. -- Tokens: Koloff 2
- Johnny Valentine made a surprise appearance to protest the decision even though he was still injured, courtesy of a post-match beatdown that he suffered at the hands of Stevens. Before reaching the ringside area, Valentine was confronted by Nick Bockwinkel. The two men engaged in a staredown, but security arrived to prevent any further problems. It was later announced that Valentine and Bockwinkel would face each other on the next card to decide the number one contender for the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Bobo Brazil. It was also announced that Ray Stevens would stand in Bockwinkel's corner for the match while Ivan Koloff would accompany Valentine.

BUTCHER & MAD DOG VACHON def. Red Bastien & The Crusher via pinfall at 3:22.
- Butcher and Mad Dog finished Crusher with a QUADRUPLE FOOT STOMP. During the opening round of the tournament, Bastien and Mad Dog eliminated each other as they refused to stop fighting long enough for the referee to officially start their match. Butcher injured Crusher following their opening round encounter with a vicious post-match assault. Bastien and Crusher were definitely motivated, but their inexperience as a team was their downfall. Butcher and Mad Dog used fluid teamwork to cut the ring in half, preventing Crusher from making a much needed tag. -- Tokens: Crusher 2

BOBO BRAZIL def. Pampero Firpo via pinfall at 3:57.
- Brazil finished Firpo with a COCO BUTT. Despite becoming the inaugural LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion, Brazil remained unsettled with the technical decision over Firpo that pushed him into the tournament final. He erased all doubts with a decisive victory in this non-title main event. -- Tokens: Firpo 2

A nice start to your fed and very cool to see Bobo Brazil win the LCW Universal Heavyweight title especially over a great foe like Nick Bockwinkel. Abdullah the Butcher & Wild Bull Curry as a tag team could be fun. Looking forward to more action from LCW.
