My predics: Best of 3 Falls: Johnny Valentine (c) for the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship Harley Race, Johnny Saint & Mike DiBiase The Crusher Pampero Firpo Abdullah Gorgeous George Adrian Street & J.J. Dillon Liking these picks, my friend... Gorgeous George has not seen any action since the initial title tournament, so a lot rides on the outcome of his match against the Sicilian... And since I'm not a fan of playing hot potato with the top belt, I'd really like to see Valentine retain here... Show goes up later today... Many thanks for staying tuned!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
For Every Action Tour (card #8) 01.Feb.22 - TD Garden, Boston, MA
ADRIAN STREET & J.J. DILLON def. Billy Red Lyons & Tiger Conway Sr. via pinfall at 9:19. - Street finished Lyons with a CRUCIFIX. The crowd was eager to see Street and Lyons locks horns again following their dynamic singles encounter on the previous show. The two men engaged in a little trash talk, but rapidly got down to business when the match officially began. -- Tokens: Street 1, Dillon 1 - Lyons 2, Conway 1
GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) def. Lou Albano via submission at 8:26. - George finished Albano with a SPINNING TOEHOLD. Albano impressed management with his performance against J.J. Dillon a few weeks ago while George had been absent since his appearance in the tournament. George's arrogance nearly cost him the match as he refused to take Albano seriously until it was almost too late. Albano used a variety of tactics to maintain the advantage until a simple reversal allowed George to snatch up the win. -- Tokens: George 3 - Albano 1
BOB ARMSTRONG def. Abdullah the Butcher via DQ at 3:28. - Abdullah was disqualified for attacking the referee outside the ring. Abdullah caused a lot of damage by raking Armstrong across the face with a concealed foreign object. Angelo Poffo arrived and told the referee what was happening. When the referee demanded that the weapon be turned over, Abdullah grabbed him and slammed him against a corner post. Armstrong threatened Abdullah with a steel chair while Poffo pulled the referee to safety. -- Tokens: Armstrong 3
THE DESTROYER def. Pampero Firpo via submission at 1:35. - Destroyer finished Firpo with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Issues between these two men continued to escalate since their heated opening round tournament match with Firpo smashing Destroyer with a steel chair following a tag team encounter on the last show. Destroyer came in hot and Firpo was unable to cool him down. -- Tokens: n/a
BUTCHER VACHON def. The Crusher via submission at 6:20. - Butcher finished Crusher with a HANGMAN. A few weeks ago, Crusher injured Butcher's brother, Mad Dog. Then on the last show, Butcher gained a measure of revenge by injuring Crusher's close ally, Red Bastien. The animosity between these two men was instantly on display as the majority of this brutal exchange took place out on the floor. Instead of asserting his authority, the referee chose to let them fight. -- Tokens: Crusher 3
JACKIE FARGO, KILLER KOWALSKI & LARRY HENNIG def. Harley Race, Johnny Saint & Mike DiBiase via submission at 2:12. - Kowalski finished Race with a KOWALSKI CLAW. Fargo solidly aligned himself with Kowalski during the last show by helping him secure a victory in a Triple Threat match against Race and Saint. The referee nearly tossed out this contest as all six combatants started brawling as soon as they entered the ring. Hennig went toe-to-toe with Race, but when the referee turned his back, Kowalski charged into the ring without a legal tag. He pushed his own partner aside in order to nail Race with a cheap shot that led to a questionable win. -- Tokens: n/a - Hennig took exception to the finish and confronted Kowalski in the backstage area. While the two men argued, Fargo struck Hennig with a wrench. Fargo and Kowalski laid into Hennig with a series of stomps until Race jumped into the mix to make the save. Race helped Hennig to his feet and they shook hands, forming a bond that could mean trouble for Fargo and Kowalski in the future.
- Best of 3 Falls - LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship Match JOHNNY VALENTINE def. Bobo Brazil via two falls to none at 5:52. - Valentine claimed the 1st fall via pinfall at 3:40. Valentine finished Brazil with an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. -- Tokens: Brazil 3 - Valentine claimed the 2nd fall via pinfall at 5:52. Valentine finished Brazil with an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. -- Tokens: Brazil 4 - Once again, Brazil had difficulty gaining any traction as Valentine emerged triumphant in two straight falls. Nick Bockwinkel made an appearance at the conclusion of the match and told Brazil to step aside in order to give a true contender a chance at winning the gold. It was announced that Valentine would team up with Ivan Koloff on the next show to face Bockwinkel and his partner in crime, Ray Stevens. In an attempt to ensure there was a clean finish, Bobo Brazil would serve as a special ringside enforcer. Bockwinkel was not happy about Brazil's presence, but claimed that he would prove that he deserves a title shot. Johnny Valentine retained the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship for a successful version one title defense.

Always some solid legends action. JV as champion is very cool. Truly stoked that you're enjoying this fed as it slowly evolves, my friend... I've got no complaints with JV as champion (even though I was hoping for a longer reign with Brazil)... As runner-up of the initial title tournament, I think we're gonna see Bockwinkel as the next challenger for the prize... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Sweet card! My picks were the usual... bad...but Johnny V retained! No "hot potato" action at least for now Well, you got the big one right... And I'm not sure anyone would have predicted Butcher Vachon over The Crusher or Bob Armstrong over Abdullah (although that was a DQ finish, so not a huge surprise)... Getting ready to post a little 'Breaking News' segment that might help explain Brazil dropping the title so soon from a booking perspective... Always appreciate the continued interest and kind words, my friend... Many thanks!

Very cool to see Johnny Valentine win the gold, although I would have like to see Bobo Brazil with a longer title reign. JV retaining in the rematch was good and it will be interesting to see who he faces next.
I loved that six man tag on card #8 and the slick way we got to a Larry Hennig & Harley Race pairing. I love seeing old school teams revived so I'm hoping to see good things from Hennig & Race.
Butcher Vachon with a huge win over The Crusher. I also liked that Adrian Street-J.J. Dillon pairing in the opener. When I first started watching wrestling regularly in the early 80's I remember Dillon briefly managing Street in Florida. I was fortunate enough to see Florida wrestling on TV even here in the northeast where it was carried on Tuesday nights on a local Spanish language station.
